There are those on this forum who believe and teach that the Anti-Christ will make a 7 year treaty with Israel that allows them to rebuild the temple and install again the OT worship system.
They present themselves as having a superior ability to interpret Scripture if someone disagrees with them.
Not sure where you get the antichrist allowed them to rebuild some temple. And allowed them to worship. I have heard some say this is on possibility, But it is not set in stone.

1 aspect you should do is make sure you know what your opposition teaches. It helps when you ask questions.

My question is very simple.
Show me Scripture that clearly supports that belief.
Many scripture support that there will be a temple. and an abomination of desolation will occur, In which time, Jesus told Jerusalem to run to the hills. where they are told they will be protected.
I do not belief Dan. 9:27 supports that so show me another Scripture.
If we are presenting something as fact, we should also present indisputable evidence.
We all have opinions. But please do not state an opinion or assumption as Scripture fact.
And please stop implying that those who question your belief or disagree with you as being less intelligent or study less than you do.
It seems your implying as FACT these things will not happen.

Lets please not be a hypocrite, and do the very thing you judge others for.

You have already been told no one knows HOW events will take place. NO one has said it is fact.

I jumped the gun,Im the one that is sorry. Have had a rough couple weeks. I probably should not be posting until Im feeling better. My apologies.

Hope you feel better

Just state what you see, and in what passage, and if they disagree, thats fine,

It is the anti jewish rants thet get us worked up. Maybe we can start ignoring people who make those rants.

SO if this all took place in ADS 70, then where was the flood as mentioned in Daniel? 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined
Amen,

it said the war desolations will continue for a time which is to be determined. Sounds just like matt 24, when Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars..

It is after those things, when great tribulation occures. So great that all flesh on earth is at risk of being killed. And for ths reason, Jesus cuts it short and returns to put an end to it.

Just my opinion here, but I think the statement ,"no flesh would be saved", is not referring to the world at large but to the Christians because the context before that statement was made was the world wide persecution of Christians. In other words, if God did not cut the time short there would be no Christians to gather when Christ returned.

Can anyone post a Scripture or passage of Scripture in context that proves that the Anti-Christ makes a seven year treaty with Israel that allows Israel to rebuild the Temple and institute the OT worship system?
I can post scripture that says that the Anti-christ will be in Jerusalem at the same time as the two witnesses are witnessing there and are killed there...
Revelation 11: KJV
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Our LORD was crucified in Jerusalem.. They will be killed in Jerusalem.. They will be killed by the beast..

Revelation 13: KJV
18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

can anyone show me an OT verse which shows the Jewish messiah would be stripped naked, Scorned, and hang on a cross (be careful here).

Psalm 22

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
6 But I am a worm, and no man;
a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws;
and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me:
they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
19 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
23 Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
28 For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations.
29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship:
all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
31 They shall come,
and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

Are you trolling again........I know that I have told you the answer at least a dozen times and have counted many more times than that from some other members...

You can stop your preaching.....only the answers from those that believe in the 'replacement theology garbage' will make your heart skip a beat. That is until Millions and Millions of people suddenly disappear. I just pray for your soul to have the opportunity to Change your mind and seek Jesus before you Die......You could be one of the millions that will die suddenly because of the disappearance of the people leaving no time for you to change.

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

I did think it was the world for Satan in his wrath by the man of sin would want to cause the hurt of all people, and by peace shall destroy many, but it does appear it is for the saints, because He shortened the days for elect's sake, and it is the Christians he attacks, but he will take the world to the battle of Armageddon where the world will then get whipped.

He said "no flesh" would be saved.

I would rather take him at his word. and not try to guess he meant something else. Thats what gets people in trouble.

By who's authority do you JUDGE me as being lost?
I know you and I disagree on the pre-tribulation rapture but I was not addressing the rapture nor did I mention it.
I was simply asking for Scripture proof that the Anti-Christ signs a 7 year treaty with Israel that allows Israel to build the temple and reinstate the temple worship system.
Your attitude is just what I was talking about in post #52.
Because I question what you present as FACT without offering Scripture proof, not only do you judge me as wrong but LOST AND BOUND FOR HELL.

There can be no discussion here. This forum is a joke.

You guys have fun:mad:

Daniel 9:27 ----- he "confirms" ( signed agreement) for one week ( 7 years)...
“Christ’s personal ministry continued to its fourth year. St. John (John 2:13; John 5:1; John 6:4; John 11:15 ) distinctly reckons four passovers; the first, A.D. 30, Feb. 15, and the first year of his ministry; the second, A.D. 31; the third, A.D. 32; the fourth, A.D. 33. The half year precedes the first passover from his baptism. The first half week of Daniel is from the beginning of Christ’s first preaching, Mark 1:15, Repent ye, and believe the gospel, A. 30, to his death, April 3, A. 33; or rather, to the pentecost following, when all the Christian mysteries were completed. The duration of Christ’s ministry is so ascertained by St. John; and is so suitable to the great events of his life as well as to this prophecy, that, as it needs not to be protracted, so it cannot be shortened with any degree of probability. The second half week is from the feast of pentecost, (when St. Peter with so much energy converted three thousand of the Jews,) to the conversion of Cornelius, and the first-fruits of the Gentiles, by the same apostle. The best chronologers place the vision of St. Peter, and the conversion of Cornelius, in the fourth year after the passion; and in the same year we may place the foundation of the church of Antioch, where the disciples were first called CHRISTIANS, Acts 11:26. Thus a prediction, which began with the happy event of rebuilding the earthly Jerusalem, sublimely terminates with the structure of the heavenly, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, JESUS CHRIST himself being the chief corner-stone, Ephesians 2:20-22. The confirmation of the Christian covenant in one week, or seven years, includes its full effect, both in the conversion of many myriads of the Jews, and in the first-fruits of the Gentile Church.”

Source: biblehub

The translation given being: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured on the desolate."

Apparently God used the Romans to wipe out Jerusalem for what its leaders did to his kid, according to this document.

I don't think this is talking about a specific person nor "The Antichrist". This type of person has always been around but in my opinion NOW his kind has been revealed. Verse 8 says "that Wicked", not referrring to a single person but Wicked in general.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 KJV
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

A person sits on God's throne - the true throne, our hearts, by being the god of his or her own life.
