To get rid of a shadow person say
Praise the Lord Praise the Lord, Blessed be the Lord
and drop to your knees
and pray for another angel.
and pray outloud
Num 23:23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

and give your entire life to God, heart and soul and mind,
and ask the heavenly father for help
"Heavenly father! Heavenly father, help me!
Send me two angels that crush demons!

and even satan will flee through the walls and out the window.

It's not the Howard Stern show. Please elaborate. What's so terrible about CC in your opinion?

Whenever sin is accepted in our world, it gives a way for demons to be bolder and more powerful. We are ordered to take our thoughts captive, to center them on Christ and given the fruits of the spirit of Christ, what to center them on. Notice that what let the demons come to the room of Piratzz was letting a movie that showed sin come into his mind. Even our governments are legislating about sinful things. Movies, books, TV, the news opens up thoughts of sin in our world. Demons are given power through our going to listen to these things and accept them in our minds. It isn't only denying the sin, it is disciplining our minds not to let it in in the first place.

The history of people accepting God in our world has been one of extremes. God is a God of truth, and truth is never extreme. Christ arrived at a time when the extreme was in works to save us. Now our extreme is in teaching all about works are obsolete, it is faith that saves us. The extreme of works was wrong, and the extreme of faith is wrong. So demons are strong in our world today through our denial of the power of following faith with works.. It isn't the world who is the greatest enemy of the ways of the Lord, it is the extremes of people who say they follow the Lord. The Pharisees were like our extreme Christian leaders of today.

As an example, today there is a great outcry against any ritual God gave the Jews. Let's examine the food laws. The Jews went to extremes and said that the way to Christ was in what you ate. So scripture said no, no, no, it wasn't what you ate. Scripture taught that it was keeping apart from all sin, and to keep to clean thoughts and this was a daily reminder to do that. So man taught that it was denying Christ to have this reminder. God's teaching, in all this is tossed out and so we go to the movies like Piratzz went to and demons are let close enough to attack us. We may accept scripture reading, prayer, and putting on Christ to remind us of biblical truth, but if we use anything else, says our church, we are denying Christ and of course, if we deny Christ we go to hell. Because of what we eat!!! So a young mother, for instance, overwhelmed with her work and constant need to be on duty, must stop what she is doing to study and pray, to use any other reminders sends her to hell. The Pharisees made almost as much sense with all their nonsense rules and regulations.

Jesus dealt with demons on a regular basis yet you think demons were only in His day. That is exactly what satan wants you to to think! By being ignorant and blind to what the works of the enemy they can freely do what they wish. Good luck with embracing spiritual ignorance of the enemy.

On cc, we discuss scripture truths. When I compared your truths to scripture some is correct, you also need to get on your knees and read what cc has to offer about other ways than yours to see God's teaching. Much on cc is not correct about interpretation or we would all agree. Much of what you say is also not correct. But the crucial thing is that you are closing your mind to God when you close your mind to the ways God is speaking to others who are listening to Him and I see you doing that.

Demons are spirits that come from the kingdom of darkness. They want to abide IN humans. Demons are NOT fallen angels...fallen angels are locked up.
FEAR is a demon....so I would venture to say that ALL have.
Maggie

  • 2 Timothy 1:7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Actually devils are indeed the fallen angels that rebelled with Satan, which is 1/3 of the host. Now, there are many kinds of devils, they are not all the same. Some of course are spirits of fear. others are spirits of infirmities, some are religious spirits and of course the four horsemen, etc.

We aslo know that there are ministering spirits, and archangels.

Hope this gives a more clear view regarding this topic.

God bless!

I have an interesting story from when I was a freshmen in college. I went and saw the first "Paranormal Activities" movie and when I came back to my dorm room later that night I was attacked by a demon. Long story short I saw and heard it scream (with my eyes open, and small light on in the room) multiple times and then the next day told one of my friends who was not a christian about it. He of course didn't believe me so later the next day at night I told him to come in my room and I would turn the light on that I had on the previous night and see if anything happened. Sure enough the demon came back and it scared the crap out of him. Later that night I thought the demon was coming back when I was laying down to go to sleep ( you can feel it, its like your body is scared but you don't know why) so I decided to go next door to my friend who saw the demon and sleep in his room bc I thought maybe the demon was haunting the room and not after me. Wrong! After about 10 min it came back and this time my friend was really scared. He asked me a bunch of questions like if it would possess me and I told him that since I'm a christian it can't but that it can scare me and oppress me (five senses see it, smell, feel...etc). Then he told me that he didn't want it to try and hurt him so he wanted to get saved. I then led him to christ. The peace in the room after that was unbelieveable, it was truly like being in the presence of God and I will never forget it. However, That night we slept with the light on and nothing else happened except i kept waking up feeling like something was grabbing at me but couldn't quite get me. Kind like a dog trying to tear you apart but the chain stops them right next to you. I didn't think much of it at the time but the last four years have been terrible. It seems like nothing goes right and I still occasionally get attacked by a demon. I may not have realized it then but I made a huge sacrifice for God. God didn't rescue me when I prayed to him the first night and for good reason since I led my friend to christ the next day however God still hasn't told the demon to stop attacking me. My question is first if anyone has experienced a demon attack? Secondly, how do you keep the faith when God threw you in the fire and still hasn't came to get you? Or is that the nitty gritty part of being a christian that preachers don't like to preach? For example, all the desciples lived terrible lives of torture and persecution for following God and is that what I should expect for embarassing the devil and using a demon attack to lead someone to christ.
Congrags man.First of all i am believing you are telling the truth. And if you think these things are really interesting stuff then learn that all these paranormal investigation stuff and everything done by non-chrisitians are itself a plot for demons/evil spirits to possess even those who watch them.Don't think they will leave just like that when you invite them in.Sometimes even if you cast them out the disturbances caused by them in your soul can affect you for quiet awhile.Don't blame for it when you invite a mad dog into your lap.It will bite and you will have rabies.
Remove and stop watching such videos. And plead to God to cleanse you from all evil. When you repent with of course a broken heart,God will clean you up.And continue in Godly path. And that doesn't mean everything is going to be ok.True Christians will be attacked by the devil when they stand for God.You should be aware of that.and that's a credit if you are attacked when you strive to grow in Christ. If you are thinking,How come..look at Jesus. When he lived in flesh on earth satan didn't leave an opportunity to trouble him.Only thing is he fled from Christ when he realized his tricks don't work.
Demonic beings.evil spirits are real.Resist them and continue resisting them.Attend church worship at your local church.Fast and pray in extreme conditions if you think situations are out of control. And if it has gone out of control, some anointed person of God will take care of it.:)
satan nor his minions are nothing to be worried about as long as you don't give them extra -credit,he cannot touch people washed by the Blood of the Lamb. satan is a toothless dog.that's his status.Give him more than that,he will mess you up.Nobody keeps a stray dog on their head.Pull it down and kick it out.If at first step it doesn't go,kick(pray) till it goes.
God Bless.

I try to avoid talking about it but I've had the experience. It was before I was saved, I used to be into the occult. More just dabbling than anything but it's a very real thing. I opened the door with that sin and I'm sure that's why it happened to me. I think the Lord allowed me to go down that path for a time because seeing is the only way I would have ever believed. That's when I got down on my knees and accepted Jesus....it took about three days worth of prayer and sleeplessness but I was delivered. Evil spirits have no dominion over a Christian.

I really don't like to speak of this because even amongst Christians, most people don't "really" believe evil spirits/demons exist. No good comes from discussing it most of the time. Still yet, It's my duty to honor the Lord and tell everyone that asks what a great thing he has done for me.

I had some experiences back when I was in high school and used to live in a Sureno ghetto, party hard, street fight, and take karate from a real 5th degree Zen Buddhist (the real deal not a mcdojo situation). My life was often in danger. In that life people actually hunt you. The Zen Buddhist occultism didn't help. Well, it's long gone. Haven't had any problems from that in probably 26 years but of course we are always harried by the enemy. But following Christ has its advantages. :).
HAHAH I like you mcdojo situation...that was funny. My brother did a cartoon one time and called in Mc Churches and had a guy sitting at a sign which had stuff like..

#1 Pull forward for your prefabricated sermon
#2 Pull forward for your special music in three exciting flavors

etc. You statement reminded me of that...

The Bible is quite clear that a born again Christian cannot be possessed. The Holy Spirit will not occupy the same space as a demon.

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, [SUP]20 [/SUP]for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." 1 Cor. 6:19-20

I do believe Christians who have not properly dealt with an occultic past can be oppressed by demons. They harass from the outside, but do not take over the person.

We cannot deny there is a spiritual world, which contains good and bad. I came also from an occultic, New Age background, but I renounced it from the moment I met Christ. On the other hand, people I know who have not seem to have on-going problems in many areas.

My husband is a Christian and demons attack him in his sleep. He has nightmares where he flails about and screams. I didn't even know it was a demon until one day after I read a book about it and one night when he was having a nightmare I said out loud demons be gone in the name of Jesus and it left. My husband was sleeping soundly after that. Before that I would try to wake him up and it usually took a while and I was trying to avoid his kicks and punches to the air and it was an ordeal. Now every time he has a 'nightmare' I say demons be gone in the name of Jesus and the demon leaves and he sleeps peacefully. but I am perplexed like you as to why the demons keep coming back! I really don't get why it keeps on happening.

Read THE BOOK about what it says for the demonic - I know sometimes i have a dream, and i will fall off, say a curb and my leg will jump out half waking me and then I'll fall back asleep sound. You could be just waking him up, then he falls asleep naturally

If he's into horror movies, or stuff like that - your brain doesn't forget those images - but your sub-conscience will put those images and experiences together - hence a dream. - even if you struggle with anger - your imaginations will affect you

A lot of war veterans go through that and it's not demonic but rather a psychological reaction to the horrors of war.

we must not become reductionist in all of our ills as sinful people

Biological
Physical
Spirit
Mind
Moral
Existential

all aspects of a human being - must be taken into account - yes there is the oppression of the enemy as well

It is no joke, people come on here all the time who have been oppressed by spirits.
