Get real with yourself. You live in sin everyday. Just like all of us.

And guess what....the more we learn about the sin in our lives and what we do. Being gay or drinking or smoking or committing adultery is the least of our worries.

And did you know that worry is a sin?

"Get real with yourself. You live in sin everyday. Just like all of us."

You see this is what I dont understand. Yes,we fail but to say that as a Christian we live in sin everyday... I mean are we no different from the world? Is there no change? Are we not maturing as Christians? If you can be a Christian and not feel convicted over sin something is wrong. You're in the wrong church.

Can a person who is Gay and has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior be a True Christian????
Mike let me answer like this. Gog created Adam and Eve and they are considered sons of God. We are all sons of Man but God still considers there are only two people Man and Woman. In my opinion, they have a big problem. Of course they can always argue their plight and take their chances.

On the other hand, if one day they see millions of people have suddenly disappeared and they are still here, I would guess they know at that point that they screwed up.

Just remember that the context of this thread is salvation. People are saying we have to repent of our sins and STOP them.

What believer can honestly say that they stopped all their sins and felt sorry for ALL of them? NONE.

And yes we do live in sin everyday. worry is a sin, guilt is a sin, anger is a sin, who has pure motives and pure thoughts 24 hours a day? We live in sin everyday. And those who are just plain honest and Know Grace for what it is will admit it.

Yet, even though we sin everyday, believers are not identified as sinners any longer............we are saints based upon who we are IN.............The Lord Jesus Christ.

Theres a huge difference in sinning and living in sin. Living in sin means it's part of you. No remorse. Continuous actions against God. A Christian who sins will feel guilty and ask for forgiveness. I sin daily but it does not define me as one who lives in sin does.

You sin daily, I sin daily. If a person drinks daily, what would you call them?

We sin daily, but we are no longer identified as sinners. We are saints, because we are IN Christ. New creations in Christ. A child of God. The body. The Church. His bride.Heirs.

Our flesh has 2 sides to it. everyone knows the sinning side. It is GRILLED into us. but the self righteous side, the one God HATES THE MOST is not very well known in this sin focused world. It is Where satan wants us. he is vitally interested in getting us to stop sinning and get us to be "good" and clean up his world.................just apart from Jesus Christ.

Stumbling into sin, is not living in it willfully. Grace without repentance is not biblical. It just gives someone a comfortable ride to hell. If you look from front to back in the Bible, repentance is always the issue before judgement. Claiming Grace without repentance is to deny the fruit of grace.

Faith is the foundation and sanctification is the superstructure. ( Spurgeon)

And I want to add to this. Unbelievers are nice, have "grown up" and have had babies that made them put others before themselves. They follow the laws and give to charity. but what is their WITNESS for these "superb" changes that they made?

You have been fooled by lordship salvation. Now that you know worry is a sin, you had never worry about a thing. Now that you know guilt is a sin you had better never feel guilty again......or you are willfully sinning.

It is grace through faith. It is not grace through feeling sorry for our sins. I felt sorry for a lot of my sins before I was ever saved.

Acts 16:31. Paul never told the jailer repent of your sins and you shall be saved.

It is ALWAYS repent of your unbelief of what Christ Did for you.

That's like asking if a murderer, or a kidnapper, or a prositute can be a true Christian. The bible clearly says anyone who lives this way will not enter heaven. It says SOME of you WERE these things (past-tense), but are no longer. If you currently are, then you currently are only deceiving yourself that God counts you as a Christian. The bible says we must live as Jesus lived. Hence "CHRISTian"

No read it again. We will not INHERIT the kingdom if we are acting like idiots after we are saved. But we will ENTER the kingdom if we are acting like idiots after we are saved..................saved, yet as through fire.

King David.....murderer,rapist,liar,deceiver,slothful and many more. But he was a man after Gods own Heart.

Being a Christian is being saved. You can't separate a Christian from salvation.

Again, sinning and living in sin are two different things. One cannot live in sin and know God. The Holy Spirit in us is what causes us to seek repentance for our sins. If we lived in sin the we would continue to sin without repentance. If a person drinks daily they're an alcoholic and does not know God if they do not seek repentance and continue on a destructive path.

No can do Laredo! ..... David repented, he raped NO ONE and he was not those things in lifestyle. He was a man after God'sown heart for his life and brokenness over his sin! You absolutely slandered David.

Saved as thru fire does not mean people who Are unwilling to repent, that is the believers who aren't faithful with their calling and gifts and talents and opportunities. Not wilful sinners.
