If there are specific conditions for healing, then no one ever has found them because everyone has died (excepting those that were translated in the OT) - even the ones who had the most strongest faith.

Maybe it is better to die and be with Jesus than to always be healed on earth. And in a way, death is perfect healing.
Just as much as Jesus wants to heal us, He also wants us to be with Him. He determines which way it goes.

I've known healing, and I will know death. As we all will.

The thing is one can have the faith to move a mountain but if God never intended for that mountain to move it's not going anywhere. People say it is God's will for us to be healed but this is not always the case, sometimes God allows certain thorns in our side for our good or for his glory. Do you know how many time I have prayed for healing? faith is not an issue for me because I don't rely on the strength of my faith for healing but rather the strength of him who is in me, and only if it is his will or else there is no point. Every time the answer either wait or no but I trust him all the more I know that he alone sees the bigger picture that he alone knows what is best for me and that he knows exactly what he is doing.

I go through such suffering all the time and boy I could really use some healing and I could use rest not just physically but inside of me as well but so great is faith in him and so deeply do I trust him that even though I cannot seem receive healing I see it as a challenge a test of how deeply I trust him how far am I willing to go how much will I give before I break. Something I have learned is that pain and suffering are not the most wanted teachers but they are one of the best teachers, I have grown and I have learned to trust God mostly through pain and suffering.
Personally, I'll go with the healing.

Yes I used to think it was that simple......but explain why some don't get healing although they have all the faith necessarily?
Are you them? Then don't worry about them or their healing. Simply be concerned with what faith you have.

Ps 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

Are there conditions or requirement that we have to have/do to get healed after prayer. Some can have all the faith but no healing....why would that be?
Conditions? Always. God never does anything without a reason.

I had to wonder why God's Word says He will bless us with long life and other promises in the Bible specifically thinking of Ps.91 now. ...Living a long life is not something to shun either as if it's some sort of sin in being happy in the life He has given us. For different reasons many Christians even want to live long lives here. Could be because He put that desire in us to survive and to serve Him because serving Him is not grievous. It's a joy. And the joy of the Lord is our strength. And that death is not natural but a curse? And that God is not the author of death but the Lord of life? He is not the author of sickness but wholeness?

Believing first before seeing the evidence of what we are believing for is faith. I am coming to see that faith is the key to this Christian life and how much we have peace and joy in our walk is determined by how much we have faith in Him and His love and watch care over us personally. And that this "faith" is also a gift He gives as we step out. So we are walking from "faith to faith"

For instance if the verses in the Bible that many Christians claim for healing are actually for healing.. and they have applied them and have gotten their healing... then should we not consider that yup...this could be true?? It's like anything else, we won't know if it works unless we believe... But if we don't believe - it will not come to be in our lives. Is this what is called a conundrum? Or is it God wanting us to step out in ways we never did before?

Is this God's plan that we trust Him for something that seems far fetched and we should re-think these healing verses and allow the HolySpirit to reveal a truth we might not have considered before? Or maybe considered but because of some personal tragedy we experienced in this life either in our selves or watched a loved one go through, we closed the door to the possibility of healing?? If so, shouldn't we be of the mind that God is bigger than our experiences no matter how horrible and tragic life has been?

That is what happened to me anyway with most of the promises I enjoy 'now' that I didn't enjoy before. God is for us., 2 Cor.1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and in Him Amen., to the glory of God through us.

If we don't know the Word of God rightly, doesn't the Bible say that "My people die for lack of knowledge" I think some people suffer and die needlessly because they don't know what the Bible says about healing. And if we have read the verses but will not believe they are for healing, we will not be healed.

I'm throwing thoughts out here because although I have not experienced physical healing I have gotten mental and emotional healing. I know in my spirit/heart there is more to this than meets the eye in the natural.

Yes there are conditions to healing:
1) Christians have to wait until after death & after the resurrection to have a perfect body. In fact many blessings we do not attain to until after death.

2) There is no way to avoid death except possibly by being alive at the Rapture.

So don't throw away your glasses, drive, & kill someone thinking you have perfect eyesight when you need glasses. And don't think that when you are 80, you can run around like you could when you were 20.

There is one condition for when the healing will be COMPLETE !!

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It (our body) is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: (1Co 15:42-43)

Some say it's it's Gods will for us to be healed but like the op said some never do I have to think that we don't know his will as well as we think we do for his thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways.
It's like the prosperity preachers say that God wants you to be happy he wants you to be healthy he wants you to be wealthy, with healing if he does want us healed sometimes he just does it other times he doesn't and other times still some may have to wait for 40 years before they are healed but regardless God always has a good reason and so I want to be able to trust him unconditionally regardless if I ever receive healing

WE MUST RECEIVE
Luke 13:16 "And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?"
LUKE 13:10-17

This sickness was the work of Satan - not the work of God. Jesus said it had bound her - not blessed her - for eighteen years. The teaching that says that sickness is actually a blessing in disguise, because the Lord is working His plan in one's life, is not found in scripture. As Acts 10:38 says, Jesus "went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil," not "oppressed of God."

There are 17 times in the Gospels when Jesus healed all of the sick that were present. There are 47 other times when He healed one or two people at a time.

Nowhere do we find Jesus refusing to heal anyone. Jesus said that He could do nothing of Himself, but only what He saw the Father do. His actions are proof enough that it is always God's will to heal!

Jesus provided for physical healing as well as forgiveness of sins. The very word "save" (Gk.-"sozo") is translated "made whole" in reference to physical healing in Matthew 9:22, Mark 5:34, and Luke 8:48. James 5:15 says "the prayer of faith shall save (Gk.-"sozo") the sick." Many scriptures mention the healing of our bodies in conjunction with the forgiveness of our sins.

Healing is a part of our salvation, just as much as the forgiveness of our sins.

It is God's will that no one should perish, but many do because of their unbelief. Likewise, it is God's will that we all be healed, but not all are healed because of failure to believe. It is a mistake to assume that whatever God wills will automatically come to pass. We play a part in receiving from God. Believe His Word today.

Reading the Bible in light of this insight is what causes me to re think my first position on healing under the new covenant. Actually, finding out there even IS a new covenant has caused me to re consider much of how the Bible is interpreted.

Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up
; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

I think I will just believe the bible :)

Here are some healing verses to meditate on when we are sick or in need, seeing these as promises directly from His Word.

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
— Isaiah 53:4–5 (AMP)
But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
— Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)
… who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
— 1 Peter 2:24
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
— Romans 8:11
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
— Romans 8:32
Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if You are willing, You can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
— Matthew 8:2–3 (NLT)
“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
— Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT)
For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
— Psalm 91:3 (NLT)
He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
— Psalm 105:37
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.
— 3 John 1:2 (NASB)
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have [it] more abundantly.”
— John 10:10
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.
— Psalm 91:5–7 (NLT)
With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
— Psalm 91:16
“…I am the Lord who heals you.”
— Exodus 15:26
“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.
— Jeremiah 30:17 (NLT)
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.
— Psalm 103:2–3
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they [are] life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
— Proverbs 4:20-22
[h=4]Everyone Who Came To Jesus Was Healed[/h]And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
— Matthew 4:23
News about Him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to Him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon-possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—He healed them all.
— Matthew 4:24 (NLT)
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” Jesus said to him, “I will go and heal him.”
— Matthew 8: 5–7 (NIV)
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore [our] sicknesses.”

Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed Him.
— Matthew 20:34 (NIV)
And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. And He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.” Then He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent. And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched [it] out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.
— Mark 3:1–5
A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His robe. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.
— Mark 5:25–29 (NLT)
Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want Me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. A funeral procession was coming out as He approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. When the Lord saw her, His heart overflowed with compassion. “Don’t cry!” He said. Then He walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” He said, “I tell you, get up.” Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother.
— Luke 7:12–15 (NLT)
And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then He put His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
— Luke 13:11–13 (NIV)
One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, He asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking!
— John 5:5–9 (NLT)
“…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

At the cross, You took all my sicknesses and pains in Your own body, and by Your stripes, I am healed! Your body was scourged and broken so that mine can be made whole. I receive all that You have done for me and I rest in Your finished work. There is nothing more for me to do. As I wait on You for the complete manifestation of my healing, I choose to focus on and give praise for Your great love for me. Amen!”

Ah, nuts! My hubby did the sound board for a band. The band had a concert at our church. (It was a Christian band.) The guitarist's wife was off doing something when her son came to me to ask where his mother was. I didn't know. He said he had a bad headache so wanted to go home. I asked him if he minded if we prayed first to see if God would take it away. He didn't, so we did. I both doubt God would heal him, and thought he might. I was so surprised God healed him the son laughed at my lack of faith. God still healed him.

Nuts! Really ruins your third belief, doesn't it?

IMO it is because the faith is shakable.
I mean it's sincere until something carnal diverts your attention.

Remember the disciples were casting out the demons until the boy with epilepsy.
Have you ever seen anyone have a gran-mal seizure.
I use to date a girl that had one and it made the hair on my body strait.

Am thinking that His mercies are new every morning.. that He gives us enough for each day and like the manna we are not supposed to worry about gathering enough for the next day but instead go to Him daily.

It is my human woman's nature that seeks to be 'secure' and having enough in the 'pantry' sort of speak., (just in case). But am finding that learning and growing in faith takes that new every morning approach scenario. He gives us faith and often times we see the world and the waves like Peter saw on the sea. He was walking on the water towards Jesus and while his eyes were on Jesus his 'mind' stayed on Jesus. But soon as his eyes got off of Jesus, the things in the natural came to his 'mind'. The rough seas and waves looked really scary and the reality of that world came crashing on him and he started to sink. But then Jesus took over.

He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee... it all just ties together.
Seeing life with it's ugly dreadfulness captures our minds for a time. But then when we see Jesus by faith it overshadows our minds-eye, then faith kicks in. So our minds are renewed each day and we go from faith to faith. I guess its a matter of exercising faith every day till we go to heaven.

One condition I can think of is that the healing has to be in accordance with God's will for one's life (cf 1 John 5:14)
Yes, like when Paul prayed to the Lord thrice and the Lord said His grace was sufficient for Paul.

So God needs to be fortified by Man's faith?
