Repentance

I repent of sin, whenever I am convicted of it, and ask for forgiveness.
I am sorry if I have hurt people, please forgive me. I will try not to do this in future, but unfortunately some get sensitive about certain issues which are just biblical belief and not personal at all.

Interestingly for some they do not have to repent, just change their minds. Not sure what this idea means.
Change their minds that they were not brutal enough, or they should have commanded silence.

I get the distinct impression someone is trying to provoke a response. I wonder why?

This does not constitute repentance or confession. You lied about what I have been trying to teach you.. This is not how yuo go away asking forgiveness.

Faith is not our righteousness. It is 'counted as righteousness'. There is a difference. It does not mean God looks at our faith and counts it as righteousness, full stop. What it means is that what we believe in is counted as righteousness. We are justified by His grace THROUGH FAITH

And the great crime. To be linked to theological groups it appears they hate, though they hold some similar beliefs.

I suppose with so many wounds and things in the christian world you need to put right, it is hard to be told the very words you are saying comes from another group of people you hate. Maybe the problem is hate and the desire to do Gods work for him. I am just glad I have a humble spirit and contrite heart.

He says I lied about what he believed. I was careful to say what I was rejecting, implying these were the issues he was coming across to me with. But that was a lie a deep insult. I am now arrogant and proud and he wants to break me down.

This is bizarre. Please chip in, because I really am not bothered what people believe, but trying to turn me around and bully me is stupid. So I write a bit open mouthed. This guy is driven, but this is just a thread. I have no pride, I simply shared where I am and why. I am sure those who kill christians for daring to believe something go through the same emotions of anger at them daring to believe in Jesus and His love. More people have come to christ when these two play together than anything else.

Stephen was stonned to death, with the Jews feeling totally justified at the sin these christians had dared to suggest they were guilty of. I am sure if this was not the internet but face to face I would be dead.

2. I have never told you to repent of sins you have not commited, that woud be stupid..

Like many I am sure, I am sick and tired of people coming in here nd bashing my brothers and sisters, Demanding they do this or that Judging them for doing something that the one who is doing the judging does time and time and time again..

You do not have any problem yelling at people saying they lie against what you believe, yet yuo do it all the time (as I am proving now with this line of discussion and you doing it to me)

You have no problem telling people to believe as you or else. yet you get mad when you even think someone is doing that to you

You got mad at someone earlier for putting you into a school of theology, yet you have absolutely no problem classifying myself and others as Calvinist..

I wonder, I really wonder, like a person on a sunday afternoon, why pride and anger should be built so high.

It is an insult to be called calvanist.
It is an insult to be told you are calling someone to repent but not of what
It is an insult to suggest their view of christian faith is dispensational.

Where I probably made the mistake is use the word Christian.

Now strictly speaking I never called EG these things. I said I did not agree with these positions.
But maybe association is sinful, because they are so evil. I personally would have fellowship with calvanists, people who say I have sinned and dispensationalists.

Now at the end of this I am meant to be a calm student looking up to my wise teacher and do what they say.
It is a strange approach, but not to a right wing supporter who wishes to impose their ideas on others.

As I said I do not want interaction but somehow this just keeps on rolling.
