Whether he is currently Muslim or not isn't the biggest issue. He was raised in a Muslim family, and raised as a Muslim (talked about going to a Muslim school in Indonesia). If he converted to the UCC (the "church" he attended) then he would be an apostate. If he is an apostate, then somewhere there is an Imam that wants his head.
Well said! Jimmy.
The issue is Obama's honesty. He is not Honest.
Also the Liberation Theology Church he attended is a Marxist-Socialist front group masquerading as a religion, imo.

It is amazing how in the eyes of the typical Leftist, the Truth is a "smear".

Dan, this is typical misinformation.
No one claimed that the school Obama went to was a "Madrasa". It was a mixed school that sent the kids registered as Christian to Bible study and the Muslim children to Koran study. Obama was registered as Muslim and went to Koran study. Obama openly admits this and describes it in detail is his own autobiography.

This phony 'debunking' is classic Leftist distortion - rephrase the claim to something no one is saying and refute something no one has said and pretend to have debunked the original assertion (which remains completely TRUE).

It is mind boggling how these little Orwellian tricks can be so effective on such a large percentage of the population.

Obama was definitely born into a practicing Muslim household, was raised as a practicing Muslim and none of his adult behavior suggests he is an active practicing Christian. On the contrary, his adult observable behavior indicates animosity toward Christianity.

The first part of the video I posted states very clearly that Obama was accused by a right wing magazine of attending a radical Madrasa. This charge came out as Obama was enjoying "rock star" popularity among many voters. Any story which does not list credible sources, is just hearsay.

I am not a member of any political party, so I have no loyalties toward a political party no ax to grind or any preference for one either. You on the other hand are not telling the truth, even though you may be sincere in your assertion based on hearing it from a source you may trust.

I posted a video, from a credible news source, which you apparently did not watch. In the first few mins. of the video it explains exactly what Obama was charged with. He was charged with attending a radical Muslim madrassah. That was proven by CNN to be completely in accurate. Everyone at the school, including women wore western style clothing. The Headmaster at the School said that they allow 2 hours a week for voluntary religious training. Obama had previously attended a Roman Catholic preschool for 2 or 3 years. Obama was signed up in this public school, in Jakarta as a Christian where Obama heard the gospel.

Keep in mind this story was first brought into pulic view by "Insight" magazine that did not list a source by name, but claimed it came from Hilary Clinton (un-named) staff member. A charge both Hillary Clinton and Obama refer to as a "right wing political hit job".

Keep in mind this came out as Obama was enjoying "rock star" popularity among democrats AND DURING A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CYCLE.

Here is a summary of an article from Wikipedia on this:
(Insight on the News - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

On January 17, 2007, Insight published a story which claimed that someone on the campaign staff of American presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton had leaked a report to one of Insight's reporters which said, according to the Washington Post, that SenatorBarack Obama had "spent at least four years in a so-called madrassa, or Muslim seminary, in Indonesia"[SUP][17][/SUP] According to theInternational Herald Tribune, Insight claimed that the source said that the Clinton campaign was "preparing an accusation that her rival Senator Barack Obama had covered up a brief period he had spent in an Islamic religious school in Indonesia when he was 6." Senator Clinton denied the allegations. When interviewed by the New York Times, Kuhner did not name the person said to be the reporter's source.[SUP][18]
[/SUP]Soon after Insight's story, CNN reporter John Vause visited State Elementary School Menteng 01, a secular public school which Obama had attended for one year after attending a Roman Catholic school for three, and found that each student received two hours of religious instruction per week in his or her own faith. He was told by Hardi Priyono, deputy headmaster of the school, "This is a public school. We don't focus on religion. In our daily lives, we try to respect religion, but we don't give preferential treatment."[SUP][19][/SUP] Students at Besuki wore Western clothing, and the Chicago Tribune described the school as "so progressive that teachers wore miniskirts and all students were encouraged to celebrate Christmas".[SUP][20][/SUP][SUP][21][/SUP][SUP][22][/SUP] Interviews by Nedra Pickler of the Associated Press found that students of all faiths have been welcome there since before Obama's attendance. Akmad Solichin, the vice principal of the school, told Pickler: “The allegations are completely baseless. Yes, most of our students are Muslim, but there are Christians as well. Everyone's welcome here ... it's a public school.”
[SUP][23][/SUP]
If you think this or anything I have said or posted is in accurate, please post a reputable source, because I do not accept hear say about politicians, ESPECIALLY IF THAT INFORMATION BECAME PUBLIC DURING AN ELECTION CYCLE.

(Keep in mind I do not consider Rush Limbaugh as a credible source)

You accuse me of NOT TELLING THE TRUTH! Please quote me exactly and state how you know you know that what I said is false.

Everything I said is true and I provided the source - Obama's own words from his own autobiography.

You have not identified the source of the "Madrasa" claim... which is still irrelevant within the context of this thread because no one here called it a Madrasa. Refuting some irrelevant claim about a radical Madrasa is deception on your part.

In fact it was openly admitted here on this thread to be a school that included Christian students.

For you to continue with your false accusations and obfuscation is typical Leftist deception.
This is how the deceptive Left operates - refute something that no one has said and then claim to have shown the OP to be wrong. This trick will not get past a truth oriented person like me. I am onto your game.

I have not claimed that anything you have said is inaccurate - I am saying that your obfuscation is totally irrelevant and deceptive. You are refuting something that no one here has claimed.

The claim by the OP is that Obama is a Muslim. Subsequent comments have corroborated that claim with facts and documented statements. Refute what has been stated here or cease and desist with your deception.

You know the most hilarious part though...even if he was muslim I still would have voted for him over Romney, so I really don't see why this matters. He is a president not a religious leader. Be he atheist, mormon, muslim, jewish, or christian, I dont care Im not electing him to be my spiritual guide.

Okay, that's fine... glad you can find humor in how you can justify voting for a dark, deceptive, pro-baby-killing-abortionist chronic pathological Liar. His purported status as a Muslim is not important to me either, in determining how I vote.

I could easily vote for a Muslim man with integrity, like Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser - for president.

I saw a video of him where I heard him say "Jesus is Lord." So, according to this scripture, he must be a Christian. "Wherefore I am making known to you that no one, speaking by God's spirit, is saying, 'Anathema is Jesus.' And no one is able to say 'Lord is Jesus' except by holy spirit." Maybe you should quit slandering your Christian brother. He's imperfect just like the rest of us, but he seems to be a Christian.

OH! You saw a video did you? :p C'mon... you will have to do better than that. Actions speak louder than words. He does NOT seem to be a Christian.

I can't say definitively that I know the man's heart but I can simply look at the available evidence (a small sample of which I have shared here, and there is PLENTY more where that came from) and I can say that I do not believe he is a Christian.

I believe he is a chronic pathological liar and will say anything that he believes the audience in front of him wants to hear. And that includes crossing his fingers and mouthing any and all manner of platitudes for the incredulous Christian(?) Left.

See that's the thing, either way they would be but a stepping stone in the direction of the one world ruler. So from that perspective it doesn't matter whether it was Obumble or Richie Rich.

Well unless youre willing to take care of and financially support the unwanted babies then i guess you shouldnt really judge abortion clinics since they tend to be a necessary evil.

You have not identified the source of the "Madrasa" claim... which is still irrelevant within the context of this thread because no one here called it a Madrasa. Refuting some irrelevant claim about a radical Madrasa is deception on your part.
1) You are saying something false, but I doubt you are lying about. I think you are sincere about your statements but they are based on misinformation.

2)There in lies the whole problem. No one has ever named the person's name who claimed Obama went to a madrasa. No one on the planet can say who it is because Insihgt magazine only said it was a person attached to Hilary Clinton's staff.

3) This post is germane and relevant to this thread, because the information I posted is exactly how the lie got started that Obama is a Muslim.

4) I will not re-post the sources I posted earlier, because if you chose not to watch the video and/or read the article (both come from reputable sources (CNN and Wikipedia). Now after you decide to take the time and understand what they say, I will be happy to post even right wing pundits from 2008 saying that Obama did attend a "radical Muslim madrasa".

Please go back and watch the video in post #77 of this thread and the article on #82 of this thread. Pretty please.
.. Then let's discuss the things you watched and how you disagree with me. Just keep in mind:

a) No one person has ever been identified as saying Obama attended a radical Muslim madrasa, except for an un-named Hillary CLinton staffer. (This was an obvious right wing smear campaign made to look like it came from Hillary Clinton.)

b) This is the source of the lie that Obama is a muslim.

c) Fox News and others like Limbaugh still claim Obama is a muslim even tho Obama has claimed to be a Christian, was a member of a Christian church.

1) False. What I said was true. Again quote the false claim I made and show how it is wrong. You are disagreeing with something no one here has claimed.

2) Totally irrelevant. No one here or anywhere apparently, has claimed that Obama attended a Madrasa. Why can't you get how this is a red herring that has NOTHING to do with the comments on this thread?

3) Completely False. The fact is that Obama did go to school registered as a Muslim. He was born into a Muslim Household and he was definitely and truly raised Muslim. That is what has been claimed here and it is true. You are lost in a fog of confusion about some irrelevant CNN smokescreen.

4) I am not interested in some irrelevant propaganda about refuting some claim no one has made.
a) prove it. (Sounds like complete nonsense to me -paranoid drivel backed up with nothing).
b) wrong. The source of the truth about Obama being raised Muslim is Obama's own autobiography.
c) Prove it. Provide exact quotes to show this is true - I not have never heard either make that definitive claim. I have however heard them say no one can really know this for sure. I say your claim is false.
