Ok I will speak my mind anyways.

Not meaning offense, but I mean with so much of real current women's rights issue being on the forced dress codes, like the hijab and niqab stuff, me thinks sometimes the women that do these topless protests should give the burka a try instead if they really care about women's rights and dress codes. Not as punishment or anything permanant, but maybe for a shift in perspective. I suppose though that this "movement" is more likely an excuse to wile out rather than being a genuine cause.

When the lewd, the rude, the crude and the nude start hammering at my door, with full government costitutional protections, so called, christians be damned, I believe we'll be escorted out of this world, and don't look back. Welcome to Sodom and Gomorrah! Does Pompeii come to mind? This is where it is all headed on fast track! Anybody care to talk about salt that has lost its strength? Some of this can be averted if only the branches could re-connect with the Vine! There I go again!

Simply present the truth. God's holiness and love are perfect and normalize perfectly. They are not diametrically opposed to each other nor are they in conflict. One cannot rightfully discard one for the other.

It is in scripture we find the proper relationship between God's moral law and His agape love. Two equal and opposite dangers must be avoided:

1. Legalism effectively ousts agape love as a dynamic of the gospel and the Christian life by reducing both to obedience or conformity to a set of external commands or rules (after the manner of the scribes and Pharisees in the gospels).

2. Its opposite, antinomianism, ousts God's moral law as a dynamic of the gospel and the Christian life. Antinomianism is heresy that tells Christians it's OK to forget about God's law and concentrate solely on agape love... a course which is a justification for degeneration and immoral licence, such as homosexual marriage, rather than promoting the true Christian liberty (i.e. freedom from sin).

The Gospel of Jesus Christ and God's grace in Jesus Christ frees the Christian from both these erroneous tendencies but only if Christians respectfully strive to follow God's moral law and both practice and realize agape love in their lives.

Believers should be told that they are responsible for maintaining their testimony. That is not antinomian!

Unbelievers cannot reasonably be expected to have a testimony!

1 Co 6:12
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
KJV

1 Co 10:23
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
KJV

If an unbeliever reads these verses and sees us trying to put them under law; how do we maintain credibility.

Until 1827, in some New England states, public nudity was used as a punishment for what the state deemed to be lack of self control. This public humiliation was often accompanied by whipping.

If some women want to voluntarily subject themselves to what was not very long ago used as criminal correction; the jeers and scorn of unbelieving onlookers will quickly assert themselves; and may be more effective than any law.

We in the meantime can refrain from compromising our witness.

I will be praying for people. But in the mean time, I will also say to God:

Lord Jesus take your children (who are faithful to you) home quickly.

Adam and Eve covered themselves with leaves after the fall. Why? They had knowledge of good and evil. IE, lust
As a result, they both understood what they had done, and they became aware that they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves.
(Gen 3:7)

That awareness opened their eyes to the fact that they were naked which moved them to cover themselves to hide their nakedness from each other and God.

It seems that this goes right to the deepest core of man's being, so to deliberately strip naked in open society is only a reflection of their lost state from reality. It's conscience hardened to the Nth degree, where there is no shame. It is an open declaration to God saying 'You are not there'.

Really I am starting to regret even this topic exists, not blaming on making the topic, it is an actual part of reality, but rather why it even must exist to begin with which is out of all of our control obviously. People need a shirt then it seems to me, so an answer to give people clothes might be a good way to respond.

Lewdness is lewdness whomever and wherever you are. Why don't we forbear clothing all together. What if someone was accustomed to worship a golden calf, would it be alright then. What if there was a movement for men to wear short shorts and let there family jewels be seen.

This message board blows my mind with what is exceptable it grieves my heart.
I'm cool with no clothing at all, back to nature :p and where I'm from we have that already

There are plenty of people who do such things and tribes that walk around naked. That never heard of a bible or Jesus in there life.

How will they be judge?

They've never heard of the Bible of Jesus? Then someone ought to go tell them dont you think? They will be judged the same as everyone who doesnt accept Jesus as their savior.Read the Bible and you will find out about the judgement and how you can avoid it.

Let us be honest here. We are talking ego and showing off. How many women with sag problems are going to strip off? For them all the support and padding they can get helps their self image.
So this is the teenage/early 20's group who like men looking at them.

So the answer is do you want to encourage those who are so much into self loathing, attracting attention this way boosts there self esteem while loosing their integrity or get real and put sexuality back in the box where it should be, females and males attracting each other to form long term relationships and children.

I have a friend whose spare time was spent lusting after women etc. and this behaviour is just playing to him approving of sexual abuse and turning young beautiful people into merely sexual gratification objects. He is being destroyed by his lusts, and it is so shaming, but he often says words like, don't judge me. He is just destroying all the normal functions of being a human and respecting life and love.

Leviticus 18:7
The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Leviticus 18:8
The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

Leviticus 18:11
The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Leviticus 18:12
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.

Leviticus 18:14
Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Leviticus 20:17
And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

Leviticus 20:19
And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
