Is it really a sin for women to wear pants, men to wear a dress?

That is very well for you to see that.

The question is who we ought to apply it to and how we ought to apply it, to ourselves or to others, as an expression which has great meaning because it is a voluntary respect delivered toward God with rejoicing from one's conscience, or like it is a law?

Which way do you think God would most smile upon?

If we teach it wrongly to others like as it is a law, that is how they will apply and teach it to yet others. God loves a cheerful giver, a heart that rejoices to praise him.
Well for one thing, I don't go around telling others how to dress. I can't make them do anything. BUT if they ask me why I do what I do then I tell them, and that is the seed sown. GOD gives the increase, not me.

That's very admirable about you. You set a good example.

Women wearing women's pants is not wrong. Men wearing men's dress (pretty much a robe) is not wrong. But crossdressing is a sin.

Im a bit confused by why Deuteronomy is used out of context to say that women cannot wear pants or jeans or a t shirt and essentially the same clothes men wear. I mean really? Would God send a woman to hell for that? Are not we the ones who decides whats a female or male garment anyways? What about men who wear what would be considered a dress? Are they going to hell for wearing these clothes? Someone help me make sense of this please.
We of the nations are not subject to the law of Hebrew scripture. Just be modest.

OK - I am getting detailed here.... I know a woman attorney who finds men's off the rack suits are much better made than women suits. She goes to men's stores, buys a man's suit that fits her best and has her tailor alter it so it fits her body. She may wear a scarf or broach to feminize her outfit. She is heterosexual and looks female. In case you don't know this, some women's suits come with a skirt and pants, but she prefers the better made men's suits. Is this a sin? I don't think so.

I don't think for a woman to wear pants or clothing similar to men is wrong or sinful.

We are not under the law of Moses. How we dress has nothing to do with sin and righteousness, unless it defiles our conscience or puts a stumbling block in front of someone else.
