I cannot ridicule things like that. I will swear, to my dying day, that I sensed Him sitting in a chair at the foot of my hospital bed one night... for hours, till I just drifted off to sleep.

Why would Jesus tell them to buy a sword?

*And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?”So they said, “Nothing.”*Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. *For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”*So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”And He said to them, “It is enough.” - Luke 22:35-38 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke22:35-38&version=NKJV
This scripture has had me perplexed. Finally I have settled on, that Jesus was trying to tell them about what must happen to Him..and they could not understand. He sent them out "without purse or script" and they lacked nothing. He goes on, "but now, he who has "purse and script" (Isn't He referring to their opposition here? For they had been shown to trust in Him, not provisions.) Soon He would tell them Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

IOW, I think He was trying to warn them about what would happen to Him, and after He was crucified..that they would be persecuted for following Him. His response, "..it is enough" referring to 2 swords? 2 swords won't get very far up against a mob. ..so maybe it was His way of ending that discussion. That's just my take..I'm speculating.

Physical harm, spiritual harm or emotional harm?

Words can be pretty hurtful.

Where are your wife and children now?
Jesus told me not to hurt anyone, but he let me know that one can’t always not hurt people. Telling people the truth often hurts them, and Jesus let me know that is not what he meant. Harm is closer to what he meant, and that would be in any way.

It might have been tongue in cheek, but not ridicule.

I have my own life experiences to be able to say for a fact the spiritual world exists.

However if a spirit is teaching you something contrary to scripture, isolating you from loved ones and causing you to NOT display the fruits of walking with the Holy spirit like love, peace, kindness, etc or practice true religion such as visiting widows and orphans, clothing the naked, feeding the poor.....then it's time to pray and ask God if that spirit is truly HOLY.

General test everyone should use upon any spirit claiming to be from God.

Well, to point out, from Scripture, only a couple...... Saul/Paul sure seemed to be talking directly to Jesus, right there with him... and Peter sure seemed to see that sheet full of animals, even if it might have been a dream, he also had a conversation right then and there. (and that is only two of many, many)

Jesus has actually let me see him. But most of the times and there have been a number of them Jesus just lets me hear and know he is there. How I know is not something I can explain. Jesus has given me seven visions of my walk with him all the way to my death, and after my death.
When Jesus sat next to me to teach me that Christians don’t sim, I did not actually see him, but I felt him, and he talked to me.

The practice of nonviolence is found in many religions.

What does Jesus say about eating meat?

this is true and of course Jesus could appear to one today however, it ws not be done to boost ones superiority but to edify the church and person if it is seen as boastful then it will not be accepted as we know Paul did not boast

Paul said he saw Jesus, and if you need the scripture I can get it, but this thread has me very busy. Also it is getting late and past my bed time.

What is defined as sin?
How do Christians keep from sinning?
If someone sins, does that make them no longer Christian?

This is very true, but Willie is well aware of the need to test the spirits.

Don’t you read scripture Jesus said he would show himself to those who keep his commandments, I have seen Jesus.
(John 14: 23) “Anyone who loves me will keep my word and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make a home in him.”

(John 14:21) “Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them will be one who loves me; and anybody who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and show myself to him.”

Jesus Christ my Lord and God has been personally teaching me for over forty years. Jesus has called me out by my name, and I have seen Jesus Christ. Jesus is with me at all times, and he tells me everything I am to do.
That is wonderful, you cannot get better teaching then when the spirit leads and teaches you. But God has called us all by name. We are a body,we work together. Im not sure why you believe you are a prophet but there is no other message than the one given in Gods Word.

*In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, *that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, *whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, *receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. - 1 Peter 1:6-9

That's cool. And as some have said here.... hang onto that, and believe it. It's yours; cherish it.

But If you ARE laying what you understand on people as something others have to listen to and obey when you preach about your vision, (removed)
has been given the task of, and the right to go around telling everyone they are going to hell.
