suggest you read Rom 8:28-29......You cannot lose your salvation if you were truly Saved.
Suggest you read Matthew 7:21-23......You can falsely assume you have salvation. Only God knows who is truly saved.

Here's a question:

Can you out-sin your salvation?

Re: Can you out-sin the grace of God?

You mean can you murder someone or worse. NO!,,,why? Because when you are truly saved you are continually striving to walk in Jesus shoes...Sure you sin every day or at least I do and I continually try to repent (go a different direction) with the Help of the Holy Spirit within me.

Only if one is not truly saved, can they commit sins such as murder without remorse.

It is a fact, all true Christians are sinful on a daily basis...But also there are far more Chrsitians that are NOT-SAVED because of their continuous sins and none-repentence.

DID you notice that the Earthdwellers in Revelation would curse God instead of repenting.

To answer your Question; One cannot out-sin the Grace of God....IF one never had the GRACE of GOD to begin with!

If you would rightly divide the Bible, those verses do not apply to Gentiles. This was during the Ministry of Jesus and it was to the JEWISH people.

Regardless of who the verses are not meant for, it is still only God who truly knows who is saved.

I do believe if I were you, I would make sure of your salvation.... The ride to work tomorrow could be your rapture. We never know. Yes, you can tell if your saved or not....

I really pray that you come to know Jesus, then you will have no doubt as to your salvation.

I liked the article. I really can see parts of these theories in all of our thoughts.

Stunned...The fact that your heart was always facing God is the beautiful thing you see...God wants our broken and contrite heart , and through your struggles of believing in His promises for you ( which I think all of us struggle with ) , you never turned your back on God , and now here you are out of that wilderness...Praise God...xox...

People who are not born again can not walk around that same mountain , kicking and screaming if you like , no they would get fed up and give up and go back to where they came from...True believers , those who deny themselves , pick up their cross and follow Jesus , they as in we are the ones walking home...

I love the way Jesus has left us with every kind of help we need as we come up against the evil ones plots , the traps , the nets , the pits and the falls , we have The Comforter , The Counselor , The Helper , The Advocate...John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you...

God has blessed us with more then we could ever imagine...xox...
Morning Stunned...Not sure if you saw this so I bumped it...xox...

Probably no way I will ever be able to explain all of these...threads or pieces, coming together for me yesterday and this morning. Maybe the best way to sum it up is...I've become more willing to let other men have their own views or takes on things. If they are learning to trust God more and more and pressing into more and more peace in Him, that's really all that matters.

We are all in a race of trust. Anything that gets us to that, we should use. Anything that in no way helps us to that, we should discard. It's a waste of time to focus on anything but the race.

I DID miss that Rosemary! And I am so careful to go back and read and re-read! Last night was a crescendo of all that I've been piecing together with Gods help and so my mind was distracted by all the pieces, so I missed it! I like the post. Have you ever read Pilgrims Progress?

Oh wow , I was going to ask you the same question last night about Pilgrims progress :)...I just bought the book for my son , he is in prison , I have not read it but watched all the films made off Pilgrims progress and really enjoyed them , helped me so much to understand just how much we are loved and protected on our journey home...John Bunyan wrote a second book also about how his wife and children followed ( fictional I believe ) , I enjoyed that too ...xox...

Romans 8:16 - The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

1 John 5:11 - And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Also Romans 8:30 - Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. *ALL of them.

How's that "ability to be good people" working for you? Stunned just told you that even having angry thoughts is sin. You have an 18 month old daughter who cries a lot. How's your "ability to be good people" working for you when she got on your last nerve? Think about this one. She is the love of your life! You can't possibly love anyone more than you love her, and yet your anger got the best of you. If this is true, (and it is true, or you go into the Guinness Book of Records as the only mother who never got angry with her baby), then how able are you for people you don't even like? )))))))

wow oh wow. My daughter did not get on my last nerve at all. Dont know where in the love of God you get your ideas from. How is being good working for me? It works very well. I could never get angry at or smack a baby. You seem to have a bone to pick with me. I am not here to argue.

If the Bible were so easy to interpret, why is there so many different views and why the arguing and so many different views? There should be one view if it was clear, but it is not. People interpret it differently from one another and so do the different churches.
