I may be wrong, but from reading you and a few others, ye believe that no one can be perfect and morally upright like we are called to be, and that no one is righteous not even Daniel. If this is your belief, and I think it is, it is contrary to scripture and arguing that no one can make a clean departure from the vile sins of the flesh in a season of godly sorrow in repentance.You think man MUST always sin until he gets his new body, Paul says differently.. IOW, no one is arguing in favor of sin, it's just you arguing that others are arguing in favor of sin. Got it.

If you are not arguing for walking righteously as believers, you are saying it is impossible.
The doctrine of total-inability based on the idea of original sin born in a person linked to
sexual attration and sex in marriage, is one idea of the reformed theological position.

Now it maybe you have moved on from this position, but until you start saying a person
for 5 minutes can walk righteously, after being cleansed, washed and made holy, you do
not believe it.

Now this is just intellectual and spiritual honesty. As a believer I trust you know what this
means? I have carefully worked my way to the position I hold, that it is possible to walk
righteously, but I am still trying to define the limits in spiritual and moral terms, understanding
the law of Christ as opposed to the law of Moses, and how love fulfills the law.

Just mocking the position is not a response or being honest. But as always it is your choice,
I would just encourage you to declare why you hold what you do and describe what that means.

I got to observe you got under his skin. Poor guy. Emotional projection does this.
If you want someone to like you, you say sympathetic stuff in the hope of a response.
They can then put the knife in and if you loose they can sit back and mock.

But it have nothing to do with content and all to do with manipulation.

By now we both know where we are coming from, and without a change in presentation
it does get boring.

I reminded me of the day my dad had a stroke. It was like the ceiling fell in. Nothing I
could choose, my heart just died. The pain, the tension, the dilemma.

Until emotionally something moves it is just words. And I pray the Lord in His graciousness
does not resort to such drastic methods with any here, but if push comes to shove, and
eternal consequences are at stack foundations do get moved. The Lord plays for keeps.

If all I have left is the cross and Jesus, I have everything, because through Him everything
that was made, was made. I pray that my testimony was above all I stood in Christ, and
brought glory to His name, for His name is worthy above all others.

When I am climbing on a high mountain path, with only my boots and the rope to keep me
safe, why should I fear, because these two things are all I need. I do not have to fear
that my trust is not strong enough, but that I have trusted in the right thing and they

by the way Notice how Stephen would not even repent? Another sign of people who are not secure in God,, They are caught in sin, yet fail to admit they have even sinned. or do like some and blame shift. it is everyones fault but their own.

I think sometimes people see things that arent really said because we have differences in doctrine. Some hear " christians need to repent and obey God" and see condemnation in that, Myself and I know others as well see Life and deliverance in it. and are thankful God speaks those things to His people. to speak of the warnings in the word isnt Judging someone, or condemning them. its simply a truth of Gods Word that is meant to believe as much as a blessing scripture. I may have missed all those who are judging sinners, so i dont want to say no one has, but i havent noticed it at all. in fact that scripture i left wasnt even accusing you of judging someone elses salvation,( though the comment was treading that water) it was Just a reminder in the situation.

this is a bizzare comment, again has to be rooted the gog doctrine where theres nothing to do on the believers part. Repentance is not what Jesus does for us, its what He made available to us. repentance comes because we believe the One saying " repent" but its not what He does for us, its what the One we believe in tells us to do, in response to every thing He has already done for us to win our Hearts back to God. if we constantly explain our part away, no one will ever repent. theyll be waiting for God to repent for them, it doesnt work that way


Godly sorrow produces repentance, and it comes by being aware of the sins in Our Life, after we stop denyinmg the " sin conscience" we shouldnt be aware of our past sins, but if we sin tomorrow there should be a sorrow that comes along with it, Knowing that Jesus Died and suffered so Greatly for our sinfulness, and that leads to stopping that sin. Jesus did all of His work For us and sent His spirit to guide us and teach us through His word, he doesnt repent for us, or do the good works were made to do. He made us to do those things that eternal Life requires and explained what those things are in His word. we do have a part its to simply act in the things taught by the Lord. ( and yeah its to His glory, all by His provision) but that provision has been offered in the Word.
