You have not taken into account the fact that the end of Saturday (sundown) is also the beginning of Sunday (next minute). The Lord said three days and three nights, so that 72 hour period ended and then the next day began. We are not told at exactly what time between sundown on Saturday and sundown on Sunday the Lord actually rose from the dead. It was probably before 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, but still on THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK (the morrow after the sabbath). You have also forgotten that Christ is called "the firstfruits of them that slept" and the Feast of First Fruits was on the morrow after the sabbath. It is that simple, but because the Sabbatarians reject the Lord's Day, they have to manipulate the time-frame.
He was buried just before sundown; He rose just before sundown.

We are NOT told anywhere in Scripture that the first day of the week is ever declared Holy. It seemed to appropriate to commemorate both both Jesus resurrection and the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit; which both occurred on the first day of the week.

Likewise you can NOT find any place in Scripture where gentiles are commanded to keep the Sabbath.
Acts 15:24-29
24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
KJV

This passage tells us by omission that t was NOT imposed on gentile believers. For the first 3 centuries, Jewish believers, who predominated in the Church, continued to observe the Sabbath as well as the first day of the week.

So by omission did they also expect the New Converts not to be held to honor the First and Greatest Commandment? Or "Love your neighbor as yourself", is this also not imposed on the Gentile believers "by omission"?

And the following verse that you cleverly omitted. Why would James mention this? We already know the Gentiles were listening to the Scribes on God's Sabbath.

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

What did they learn Marc? That God didn't want them to follow His Commandment?

Didn't the Gentiles already know about the Sabbath according to scripture and were, like the Apostles, observing it? Why would James impose a commandment from God on them that they were already observing?

21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Is it reasonable to assume that James would "impose" on the New Converts the same thing Jesus instructed them to do?

Matt. 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Isn't it true that the Jews who "disputed" with the Apostles, who claimed to be trying to get the New Converts to be "circumcised and keep the Law of Moses", were actually still promoting their own religious traditions? Their own doctrines Jesus said were created from the Commandments of Men that they had preached for centuries.

It doesn't make any sense for the Apostles to turn the New Converts away from the "Jews who believed" if they were teaching the same things the scribes read every Sabbath day, including the 4 commandments James imposed on them.

No, there is a huge deception taught about this chapter that you are furthering, whether you know it or not.

The Jews were not trying to turn the New Converts to God and His Commandments. They were trying to turn the New Converts away from the Word and towards their religious traditions which neither they, nor their fathers could bear.

"10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

There is no Biblical evidence that the "Yoke" Peter spoke of was God's Commandments. The Bible actually teaches the absolute opposite.

Matt. 23:4 For they (The Pharisees, not God) bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders( necks) but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Acts 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

No, the preaching that the "Yoke" the fathers couldn't bear was the Commandments of God, and not the religious traditions and doctrines Jesus rejected them for, is another insidious lie that has been placed on the necks of people for centuries.

I doubt your pride will let you admit this error, but for all those who are reading, can you see why Peter and James rebuked the Pharisees then imposed some of God's Commandments on the Gentiles while directing them to learn the rest from the same place Jesus directed the Apostles to learn from?

The Bible flows together and supports itself for those who use it for instruction in righteousness.

But for those who use it to further their personal lifestyle or religious traditions, it becomes an enemy and a sword and will be used as judgment against them.

Matt. 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

How Great and Wise is the Lord my God.

All we are told is that Christ was entombed in the evening ("even" KJB). For all we know it could have been just at sundown, since it took Joseph of Arimathaea some preparation before placing Christ in the tomb.

MATTHEW 27

57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

MARK 15

42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
44 And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
45 And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
46 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

The important point which you ignore is Christ being the first fruits. That cancels your argument altogether. There is sufficient significance in calling Christ "the firstfruits" in that He was the fulfillment of all that was written in the OT.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. (Lev 23:9-11).

What is "the morrow after the sabbath"? Is it not the first day of the week?

MarcR, we have shown you the resurrection couldn't have happened on a Sunday; all that leaves you is Pentecost. Weak at best for calling a holy convocation (solemn assembly).

Since Sunday was never declared Holy and Saturday was. Furthermore, it was sanctified at creation; and not under the law. The law said "Remember the Sabbath" which suggests it was established with Adam. God is not going to sanctify a day and not give instruction to His new creation. Why then would anybody want to worship on an unholy day. You are just trying to justify why you are respecting your Catholic heritage.
You have shown me why you believe the resurrection was not on Sunday. You have not persuaded me. You base your arguments on premises that I do not consider sound.

I believe that Jesus was crucified on Thursday and Rose on Sunday or at least after Sundown Saturday; which would still be the first day of the week. It is readily apparent that ALL the major events in Jesus' life happened on the appointed times of Lev 23. I can NOT accept that His resurrection would be the lone exception!

Many who argue for a Saturday resurrection insist on 3 days and 3 nights meaning 72 hours; but that requires ignoring the scriptures that say He was to be raised on the third day.

What is "the morrow after the sabbath"? Is it not the first day of the week?

Jesus was killed, buried, and raised 3 days later on the Sabbath.

And ascended as prophesied the next day, but not before seeing Mary.

John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

This was early Sunday morning, after Jesus had already risen the evening before.

18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

So Mary left the grave, went and did as Jesus commanded her.

Jesus then went to His Father as the scripture you quoted prophesied.

Then later that same evening, hours later.

19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Notice, no mention of not touching Him. Why? Because He had ascended, on the morrow after the Sabbath, just as the Scriptures said, and had come back to His Apostles.

This in no way alters or changes God's Commandment regarding His Sabbath.

The first commandment is NOT omitted from The NT nor Is Lev 19:17-18

Matt 22:36-40
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
KJV

The second commandment is covered in Acts 15:28-29
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
KJV

The third commandment is covered in Rom 1:20-25
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
KJV

The fifth commandment is also included in the NT. Matt 15:4-6
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
KJV

Likewise the 6th Rom 1:28-32
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
KJV

Likewisw the 7th Gal 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
KJV

Likewise the 8th

Eph 4:28
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
KJV

Likewise the 9th and 10th Rom 13:9-10
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
KJV

Only the 4th commandment is NOT COMMANDED of NT believers. Not only that; but non-observance is defended by Jesus Himself.

Does this somehow mean we must keep the sabbath in order to be saved?
This is a Bible discussion forum. We talk about what the Bible says. The Scriptures are clear that people who preach lies about God and His Word are not from Him. It's not about this day or that with me. It's about what the Bible says. I am fine with letting God be the judge of who gets saved and who doesn't. My interest in this forum is about Doctrines and biblical discussions.

Now Jesus says that "Many" will come in His Name, they will preach Jesus is truly the Son of God, and that these "MANY" will preach lies about God and His Word (Deceive someone means to lie to them). I am instructed by my Savior to "Take Heed" of these "many"..

Matt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

This warning is specifically referring to one group of people on the planet. This specific people, "Comes in Christ's Name", and they preach that Jesus is truly the prophesied Messiah, the true Son of God.

There is only one group, or "MANY" who could possibly fit this description, and that group is "Christianity". Not Islam, not Buddhists, or Atheist's. Jesus is warning, in every translation I have read, that I am to take heed of the teaching of "Christians".

This sounds harsh, but it is right there in your Bible. And given that Abel was killed by his "Christian" brother Cain so to speak, it does line up with the rest of Scripture.

So there are "MANY" who come in His Name on this Forum and also "MANY" religions who claim Jesus as their Savior, who preach that some of God's Commandments don't matter anymore. That we are free to create our own Sabbath, even our own Feasts unto the Lord. They preach that we are free from the Instructions that Jesus created for man, before becoming a man.

To do this they must discredit volumes of scripture, because even a child knows neither Jesus, nor the God of Abraham, directed folks to reject His Instructions. It's foolish for anyone to even try and make this claim. Not one time in the Bible does God, or Jesus, who He says are one, instructs people to reject His or His Fathers Words. Just the opposite really.

Now in Matt. 5, Jesus is rebuking the Pharisees and their ancient religious traditions. "You have heard it said by THEM of old time", this or that. We know the Jews were preaching their own Laws and that they killed the Prophets of old that were sent to straighten them out. But Jesus never went against His Father.

So to answer your question, "Does this somehow mean we must keep the Sabbath in order to be saved"?

A person who lies about God isn't keeping the Sabbath even if they don't work on Saturday. Jesus make this Biblical fact very apparent in His dealing with the Mainstream Preachers of His Time.

Jesus also said:

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I think having this Spirit would go a long way toward helping me "TAKE HEED" someone, who comes in Jesus' name, isn't lying to me about God.

Because if someone convinces me of a lie about God, or deceives me as Jesus put's it, and I further this lie to others and deceive them, then I know that's very, very bad.

Matt. 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

So I know these liars are here, Jesus said so. And I do not want to be one so as to offend someone who is truly seeking Him. Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man. Since He kept this day, and He created this day for me as I am a man, I believe I should honor Him by accepting this Day He created for me.

I can't preach against it, because Jesus never preached against it. I am willing to show and discuss all the scriptures regarding this Commandment, and the discuss the examples written for our admonition where this instruction is concerned.

I'll even share my opinion from 25 years of study outside the influence of any organized "group" of religious folks who come in His Name.

But we are told to "work out our own Salvation with trembling and fear", and Paul said we should all "Be convinced in our own mind" because we will all stand before God and be judged by our own choices. Through study we know that cutting skin off our private parts doesn't mean anything if our mind isn't right. So making someone honor God/Jesus with respect and obedience doesn't mean anything if their mind isn't right either. We must be convinced in our own mind.

So if we want the Spirit of Truth, we all know how He says to get it.

And listening to those "Many" who come in His name is just asking for trouble in my opinion.

Jesus taught against the Sabbath the Pharisees created, not the Sabbath He created. He said it was lawful to do Good on this Holy day. Not ignore it.

You pretty much just ignored my post.

You omitted "The Sabbath was made for man".

Of course you did.

Here MarcR let me help you. You seem to be lacking a lot of scripture and are a little mixed up

Now MarcR if you are going to use the scriptures above to say that this includes the 1st commandment and I agree with you that it does include the 1st Commandment from the 10 commandments. You have to concede that it also includes the 4th commandment of the ten commandments correct?

ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS

This includes God's 4th Commandment.

The second commandment is covered in Acts 15:28-29
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
So in your view Acts 15:28-29 is the same as God's 2nd Commandment which says...

Exodus 20
4, You shall not make to you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5, You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them
: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them that hate me

Hmm seems God's Word disagrees with you here don't you think.

The third commandment is covered in Rom 1:20-25
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse
Amen.

7, Why (as the Holy Ghost said, To day if you will hear his voice,
8, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9, When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

10, Why I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
11, So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.
12, Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13, But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14, For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end;
15, While it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16, For some, when they had heard, did provoke: however, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17, But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
18, And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19, So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

4

1, Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2, For to us was the gospel preached, as well as to them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3, For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4, For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5, And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6, Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7, Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8, For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9, There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
10, For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11, Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Too many scriptures really not sure why people want to ignore God's Word (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; Mark 2:27-28)

The fifth commandment is also included in the NT. Matt 15:4-6
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Likewise the 6th Rom 1:28-32
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

You may need to go back and read your bible. Those who KNOWINGLY COMMIT UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT ENTER into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. This inclhdes God's 4th Commandmetns.

.................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Indeed it is hard to see when one closes their eye to God's WORD and puts their fingers in their ears in order to follow their Catholic traditions that break the commandments of God.

SIN will keep all those who KNOWINGLY PRACTICE it out of God's KINGDOM.

Jesus was born on the first day of Sukkot 15 Ethanim [7th month], 5B.C. On 22 Ethanim, 5 BC He was circumcised. On 15 Ethanim 25AD was Jesus 30th birthday. Shortly more than 40 days later, Jesus began His earthly ministry. 14 Abib, 26A.D. was the first Passover of His ministry. 14 Abib 27A.D. was the second Passover of His Ministry. 14Abib 28 A.D. fell on Wednesday night and Thursday that year. Wednesday night 14 Abib, 28 A.D. Jesus ate the Last Supper with His disciples, and then was arrested and brought before Caiaphas, the High Priest. On Thursday 14Abib, 28A.D. Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate and then crucified. He was entombed before sundown, Thursday; because the Levitical Sabbath of 15 Abib, 28 A.D. began at Sundown. Thursday night-Friday, 28 A.D. was 1 night and 1 day. Friday night-Saturday, 28A.D. was 2nights and 2 days. Saturday night - Sunday was 3 nights and 3 days.

Jesus rose on the first day. In keeping with the Law of the Sabbath, a day of complete rest, he could not have risen on it.

Not at all, that would be you as you're deceived by a woman. Hey, but if you eat right you just may make it into heaven. You've done an awful lot of work this Saturday, so "keeping" Sabbath has been lost for you. You'll now need to hope in what you put in your mouth and tummy to get you in. Good luck.

Your opinion based on men you chooses to trust. You can prove none of these things by the inspired Word of God. You have no evidence Jesus rose in the Middle of the night. You are wrong about His Thursday death. Jesus didn’t die on a Sabbath, He died the evening before the Sabbath, on Passover. It’s your religion spawned by a vision of your own mind. What we do know for Biblical Fact that after the weekly Sabbath, while it was yet dark, Jesus had already risen. If you want to preach He was killed on A Sabbath, you free to do so. But it’s not true.

Mary went and purchased Spices after His Death. If Thursday night had started the first day of unleavened bread then there would have no time to purchase spices as the weekly Sabbath would have begun at the end of the high Sabbath. Jesus was lain in the grave Wed. evening before the High Sabbath on Thursday. Friday they purchased spices and prepared for the weekly Sabbath, and as soon as the Sabbath was over they went to the grave and He was already gone. This truth is easy for me to accept because I’m not interested is preserving ancient Catholic traditions as you are.

3. Days. Thur. Friday sat.

3 nights Wed. Thursday Friday night. He rose just before sundown on Sat even while His Apostles were observing His Sabbath.
