Beside apostle John also state the word Antichrist in verse 18.
And that word in it original/Greek can also mean one who put himself in place of.
I don't believe Muslim put himself in place of Christ, because Muslim don't even believe that Christ is God.

We know from Revelation 13 that there are two beasts - one from the "Sea" the other from the "Earth." Daniel describes 4 BEASTS from the "Sea" in Chapter 7.

The first three are universally recognized as Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece. Many speculate that the fourth is Rome based on sequence and that it was the greatest (most terrible). However, sequentially the 4th is also located just before the throne of God is set up. It is unclear if Rome is "from the sea." (The "SEA" is a specific region found in other places in Revelation affected by trumpets and bowls - but I digress). Further, the "little horn" doesn't seem to fit anything dealing with Rome and neither does the one speaking pompous words:

I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

Leopard, Lion, Bear are the same previous 3 BEAST kingdoms that Daniel identifies thus they are from the modern day Syria, Iraq and Iran. Thus, this "Little Horn" will rise up and devour these three kingdoms. We know from Rev 17 that "horns" are kings or leaders. Thus a leader will emerge who will devour 3 other leaders and likely their nations, Syria, Iraq and Iran. Who is this leader?? We don't know yet, but he will be far more terrible than any historic figure and he will nearly wipe out the "Saints" which are the Believers in Christ.
In order to nearly wipe out the Saints, the USA will be effected in some big way.

It is clear that this BEAST is fighting us until God comes and stops it. It is at this point that we possess the Kingdom.

Thus, there is no fly-off to heaven, escaping of Satan's Great Tribulation. The church is here and will be nearly destroyed. God will avenge the Great Tribulation of His Saints afterwards. That's how the Great Multitude gets to heaven (by death) and that's why Jesus will find very few people of faith left when He returns.

The MAN OF SIN elevates himself above God, thus he "puts himself in place of" as per the definition you cite.

You've go that backwards. The first beast is the antichrist who will be controlled by that angel that comes up out of the Abyss at the sounding of the 5th trumpet, who is also designated as the beast who once was and now is not (Rev.9:11).
The second beast is identified as the false prophet, which will be one of the future popes who will be performing those miracles, signs and wonders on behalf of the first beast, that is to give him credibility or authentication, as the first beast will be proclaiming himself to be God (2 Thes.2:4,9, Rev.13:13-14, 16:13, 19:20.) By one of the future pope's being that false prophet and because he will be the right hand man to the first beast, the first beast will have all of those under the pope and the rest of the world in his pocket and that because the devoutness of Roman Catholic's and more so once he begins to perform those miraculous signs.

But in reality he is the least of all the great warriors,and the Bible says that the miracles the false prophet did to prove the antichrist gave him power,were lying miracles,manufactured,not true,but fabricated somehow,for there was no true power,and he is only mighty because the world thinks he achieved power through nature,so he has their power on their side.
Had he really harnessed the power of nature,the Bible would of said he fought with the power of nature,but he did not,he used conventional weapons,and the force of people,to obtain his goal.
He is the least of all the great warriors,while deceiving the world that he is the greatest.Alexander the Great would of thrashed him.King David would of torn him limb,from limb,and so forth,and the world that followed him will realize that,and be mad that they were deceived by him.

So the false religion is destroyed and what of the Beast who was carrying this false religion?
Rev 14: “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, [SUP]10 [/SUP]he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. Those following/worshiping the Beast go to hell. Again, Jesus says that the Church that Peter forms will not go to Hades/hell. Back to the drawing board dear friend. The false religion spoken of is ISLAM. Look no further.

Those following/worshiping the Beast go to hell. Again, Jesus says that the Church that Peter forms will not go to Hades/hell. Back to the drawing board dear friend. The false religion spoken of is ISLAM. Look no further.
According to individuals who speak on behalf of the Koran, it is reported that the Koran states that Jesus is the Christ.

Christ is seen to be a Prophet and Envoy of God of "surpassing greatness" (according to one Muslim writer), but only a man and nothing more. As a performer of exceptional miracles, he was rescued by God from an untimely end, was raised up to heaven, and (according to certain traditions) will come back to earth again--to die a Muslim! He is not the Saviour of the world, and is certainly not God, or "the Son of God".
What then about the claim that "Muslims honor Jesus more than Christians do"? Certainly, we do not want to allow ourselves to be entangled in sterile debate over who honors Christ the most. But neither should we feel intimidated. We must try first of all to understand how they come to such a conclusion. Above all we need to honor Christ by a life of genuine love and service to man which belies such misrepresentations (I Peter 3:13-15).

The Rock of revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God is what Jesus builds His church upon, not Peter. Jesus is and always has been the Rock. The greek word for rock when it refers to Peter is different than the Rock used in that verse.

The so-called, "AntiChrist" will be Muslim. I say "so-called" because this entity is not called the AntiChrist in the Bible. He is called, the "Man of Sin", the "Son of Perdition", the "Lawless One", the "King of the North" and the "Little Horn." Anyway, the Man of Sin (as I call him), elevates himself above everything called "god."
He deceives, "those who are deceived" who God sends strong delusion. These do not receive the love of truth so they receive the hatred of the lie. These perish. They are the perish as a group of deceived who believe the lie. The lie is ISLAM. They are condemned already.

Jesus did not build His church upon Peter. Peter was weak. Peter often failed. Peter was a poor foundation to build His church upon.
Jesus build His church on Himself , the Christ, as Peter confessed in Verse 16 "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God"
Any assembly or doctrine built on any man is weak and will fail.

I acknowledged your minor point in that Christ built his church upon Peter. Peter didn't build it.

Now move on and address my main point. Why would Christ establish his church then send it to hell? Christ specifically says that the church built upon Peter will not go to hell or Hades. Therefore the Catholic church cannot be Mystery Babylon because that faith (or should I say its followers) do go to Hell.
