Why does God allow false Christians in our mist?

I hate to admit it, but I think you're right about the correct word being pedantry. But, pedanticity is used on occasion.

BTW, the actual translation in this context is, "I wasn't aware I tended toward over-explanation. I really try to avoid confusion."
