Why does God allow false Christians in our mist?

i think we need tares. i good teacher that truly believes what they teach should welcome these tares so they can establish their teachings above all doubts.

There are MANY injunctions in the Scriptures for Christians to TEST ALL THINGS!

1Thess 5v21: "Test all things; hold fast what is good." (and so forth)

Also see Matt 13v24-43!

A primary reason is that God want us to grow in grace and spiritual discernment into a mature Christian, so don't be lazy in your prayer life, study of the Scriptures and fellowship with other Christians! Heb 5v11-6v2, 10v25

I would not call them false Christians Maybe they are a bit lost or they have their own perception of the word of God. I think that God allows such people to be around so that we may learn from them. I know people who claim to be Christians but they decide which portions of the bible they want to live by, and do not live their Christian life the way they maybe should. I see that God gives us examples of all kinds of people so that we may see the truth in our own hearts. We can learn from these people who we do not want to be.

hi, Ken. do you think we can say these were false Christians ?

if the Lord says He never knew them, were they ever in Christ?
and see how their focus is on themselves and what they did rather than on the Lord and what He has done?

To the OP, because he allows satan to deceive. Just as He allowed Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar. God wants your faith and for it to be true faith it must be tested. Doe's he already know of course he doe's, but you don't and by your faith the more real God becomes to you and the more you realize just how much you need the cross, not water baptism nor any other thing the church comes up with. God will show you how much you need the cross

Oh i forgot, by no means will God override your will. We must submit to Him wholly and then that makes us holy. Amen. That's good preaching right there, I don't care who you are.

The man on the cross is our focus, the one time the offering is holier than the altar.

What is the difference between a sinner and a false christian?

If God loves the sinner, he also loves the false christian? Judgement comes in its due time, but our concern is just to follow the Lord and live lives in His will.

If God brought judgement as we peceive it we would not understand, because much is hidden. On cc people disappear, and often no one knows why. Often that is just best, because we cannot help. I trust the Lord and his view, so amen, that He blesses the wicked and the righteous alike.
