Is his name not Viligant? What did you expect?

As for Rachel: -*** * -* ** -*-* * - --- **** * *-*
Good advice. Might suggest the same thing regarding me, and me toward him -- following, perhaps, a mutual apology for getting carried away with our invectives?

The truth is that I am sure they are both sincere and are nice people. Trump just happens stir them up inside. I have not been stirred up about politics since the day that knucklehead Obama became president.....but I still like to verbal jockey about it. No matter what....my first priority is to show my son that a real man only needs Jesus in his life.

I love watching Trump give speeches because as I watch him I can't stop laughing at him. I mean look at his crazy hair and he had a grumpy look on his face all the time. But I will say he is a very smart businessman and that may be what the future of our country may need right now. I do apologize, but I had to share my thoughts.

I don't need an apology and I have never in my life that I can remember... ever have asked for one. For what it's worth, I like you and wish the best for you and wish that we could be friends again. I wish that you would understand that I am as loyal as they come and I am a wretched man who is lost without Jesus

Well..then you can't complain if Trump or Sanders is sleeping at 1600 Pennsylvania Av.

He speaks plainly. Sirk has, to my knowledge, never openly supported Trump beyond claiming Trump stands for conservative principles (which Trump is currently doing).
that last part is incorrect...trump -isn't- currently standing for conservative principles...

unless you call single payer health care and tax increases and further massive increases in government spending 'conservative principles'

OK, to follow up on my last post, Sirk ...

You've been a friend from day one that I came on this board, and we've shared a few behind the scenes exchanges that have been enjoyable and built camaraderie. Trump doesn't really "stir me up," but the rush to embrace him certainly has.

I truly mean it when I say that his showmanship is a dangerous thing, and while you have a valid point that conservatives need to wake up, a true conservative mimicking his style is ill-advised at best. I also mean it when I say that he can't be trusted as a conservative. He obviously hasn't been most of his adult life, and this "sudden conversion" is suspect at best.

It does pain me that people I like and respect are being, as I consider it (with apologies if I'm wrong), deceived by his showmanship. We have, as conservatives, been vocal about mindless liberals' nine-second soundbites and 30-second Madison Avenue slick spots and the negative impact they have on campaigning. And now we're going to embrace the very same thing in Trump? That just doesn't make sense to me.

Putting it all aside, we need to end this feud and get back to where we were. My being irked at seeing what I interpret as you fawning all over Trump ... ? I guess I need to get over it. But I need to be less aggressive in addressing you and others regarding support, or whatever it is you are giving the guy.

I truly hope and pray the guy self-implodes or is deflated by other candidates. In my opinion, he would be a millstone around the neck of the GOP. His style is abrasive, it puts off the independents and moderate Democrats who might be tempted to vote Republican next year, and there are so many candidates more qualified than Donald Trump to carry the party banner.

But we can't let our friendships, cyber or otherwise, be destroyed by our disagreement over who he is and his impact on the nomination process.

I apologize for having offended you. I apologize to everyone else I offended. I haven't changed my mind, but I can tone down the nonsense.

Your turn, brother ...

Weren't you the one who was complaining about people abandoning their rational faculties?
if you think that is irrational then you must have me confused with the 'anyone but bush' people...

unlike them i actually researched all of the other candidates before i determined that almost all of them are better than trump...

Again, this is why I encourage everyone to read Trump to get a better understanding. His isn't an unknown kind of insanity. Just a different kind.
actually it is a completely known kind of insanity...it is the same kind of personality cult insanity that got obama elected...

i thought 'conservatives' were smarter than that but evidently i was wrong...

Oh I see you have taken me off "ignore." That is good. I did have a dream with you in it not long ago, but I do not remember all of it, just that you and me were in agreement over something and behold there was another and ye and him were wroth with each other. It was not Sir Sirk though, but was another that comes here. Perhaps just a dream, perhaps not, we shall see.

As for what you have said I agree you two ought be reconciled and to which I interject myself as well seeing you be addressing me. Therefore my apologies to you and I accept any apologies towards me, but one doesn't need to apologize to me for I forgive you by default.

Lets see last election we was told, we cant nominate a true conservative, because they cant get elected . Now we cant nominate trump because he is not a true conservative ..he is too middle of the road. I think that they just want us to vote for the establishment folks.

I could vote for Carson...if it was between him and trump I would I think. But if its carson against the establishment and they take trump out...I think they will beat him up like they always do...so I think trump needs to be in the race until the they have to take anybody but trump.
