I don't want to derail Ritter's thread too far, but an exhortation from Philippians came to mind with regards to sex.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
I have tried to walk the line between purity and impurity in sex, unfortunately. I know it is possible to address sex purely and I also know that it is very difficult to maintain purity. I don't know the intent of many of the people searching the forums; I do know, however, that the more common a sin is presented, the more likely it is to be corrupted and become impure. I would urge all of you who may have questions about sex to truly ask God about why you seek answers to them. In my experience, there are a ton more impure reasons than pure ones. The more popular something like this is, the more chances that even something originally pure becomes impure. From what I've seen in the Bible and my own life, Satan doesn't have the power to create, but rather to take something God has created and elevate it and twist it.
