I certainly don't see everyone's sins being paid for there

Thats funny, You should.

The OT symbol of Christ was Israel and the High Priest. The high priest went up once a year and paid for the sins of the whole nation. Not just for certain elect people.

This would symbolise Christ going up once and paying for the sin of the whole world..

And yet they still had to sacrifice for their personal sins. SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT?

DO you always just ignore the inconvenient parts of the bible for your beliefs?

Is it lawful for Jesus to do what He wants with that which is His? All I usually see from you are derogatory remarks hiding behind what you do not understand.

1 John 2:2
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours (Rick) but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 Tim 4:10
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe (Rick).
Could you make a cogent statement please?
I can't defend myself from your accusation based on the scatter shot you typed.

I don't know how clearer it could be in these verses Rick. God is the savior of the WHOLE WORLD, especially you Rick, because you believe. Don't make it complicated.

Dude. I dont even KNOW Rick, and may not like him when I do, but I'm with him on this one....

You asked, >>>>>Is it lawful for Jesus to do what He wants with that which is His? A<<<<<<<<

Then you post some random verses that don't connect to the question you asked. DO you believe in GOD?

Jesus Wept.

connect those and teach us the way.

This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

This was posted by one who was eventually banned because of his persistence in these verses.

Oh! Poor little chestertonrulegate.
And I would have answered him/her in a banned fashion as would make him/her/it comfy.

- - - Too Bad.
Rick quoting him, remarked in his usual degrading way towards the one who was banned.

Then you respond not having an understanding of anything. If Jesus intended to save all men, would you be mad? He CAN do whatever He wants to with what He owns, can't He?

It's not a question of what J can do, it's the verses you posted eisgegetically, out of context, with no explanation, and assumed that said something.

No, you didn't answer anything.

Again I posted the whole of the responses in question and you still do not understand? The verses posted by the OP says that all men will be saved. Again are you mad that this is so?

A man must want all men to be saved in order to believe it.
And if you believe it, you must stop making personal attacks against those who don't.
Please attack the city instead, as instructed.

Don't be in their type of rebellion, Ezekiel.

2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

[SUP]2 [/SUP]For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

[SUP]6 [/SUP]Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

When you throw away everything you've been taught by any religion, and start over with just you and Jesus on a mission to save the world, you're "born again"

What doest thou here, Elijah? [SUP]14 [/SUP]And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

Consider yourself practically alone on this agenda, for reasons that you can plainly see, if you believe the good news.

5 Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]I have seen the foolish taking root:

but suddenly I cursed his habitation.

The verses say that to yoru mind. TO a third grader I'm sure they say something else. Well, maybe not, lemme go the other way, to a seminary professor, I'm sure they say something else, with more than the skim the surface interpretation.

Imply I'm mad, because I want you to explain how you think they say what you think they say.

Here's one for you, let's just post a random verse with no explanation. If I were to do that with the following verse, you'd think I was showing you weren't born of God...

No one who is fnborn of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is fnborn of God.

The verse you posted does go hand in hand. If I say that the risen Christ is within me, how can I then practice sin? A 3rd grader can indeed understand the meaning of 'ALL'. A seminary professor, not so much.

IF christ is in you, you CAN NOT SIN> read past the conjunction.

prevarication is the name of the game today.

What does what you SAY have to do with anything. GOD IS REAL AND IS EITHER THERE OR IS NOT THERE! What you say doesn't make a pigs snot ball of difference.

IF HE IS THERE you will not ONLY not continue with a sinful lifestyle, but yoU CAN NOT SIN. THE NOT in GREEK there allows for NO SLIPPAGES.

So, you are NOT born of HIM if you still sin according to that verse.

Now, are you, or are you not, going to explain your verses....?

Stop trying to be wise in big words. It's the same thing. One who sins, practices to sin.

No it's not. And there was no big word. HERE, I will use as many one syllable words as I can.

If you make it practicing sin... that lets you sin once in a while. When you go past the "AND" which is a word that puts two thoughts together in one thought, it says CAN NOT SIN.

All men will be saved. How can I explain that anymore? This debate is not if God is real. And again, the OP posted these verses in which he was attacked.
