This passage in Hebrews goes along with the conscience.....our conscience should be cleansed of the evil part.....if our sins are purged from us..we should have no more consciousness of sins..the blood of Jesus does this for us. Thank you Jesus for your great salvation!

Hebrews 10:1-23 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
[SUP]6 [/SUP] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
[SUP]9 [/SUP] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
[SUP]12 [/SUP] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
[SUP]13 [/SUP] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
[SUP]14 [/SUP] For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
[SUP]16 [/SUP] This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
[SUP]17 [/SUP] And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
[SUP]18 [/SUP] Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
[SUP]21 [/SUP] And having an high priest over the house of God;
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised )

For us Christians now we have to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus....but we need to remember that our sins are purged from us so that we can walk out who we really are now in Christ.

2 Peter 1:2-9 (NASB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
[SUP]3 [/SUP] seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,
[SUP]6 [/SUP] and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,
[SUP]7 [/SUP] and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
[SUP]8 [/SUP] For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.

Oh I always marveled at how I could do something, like murder someone in anger or attack someone (but always only in the "acceptable" sneaky passive-aggressive way I'd been taught, of course), and yet the Holy Spirit didn't leave me! He still came to commune with me and I couldn't understand how I had not grieved Him!

....and what grieves the Holy Spirit is not giving words of grace...not allowing grace to be manifested.....that is what grieves the Holy Spirit...

Ephesians 4:29-30 (NASB)
[SUP]29 [/SUP] Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
[SUP]30 [/SUP] Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

The only time was recorded Jesus as being angry was when the Pharisees failed to let grace be done when Jesus when to heal a man..

Mark 3:5 (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

No..it makes me fall deeper in love with my Lord and with my good, loving Father. I want to run to them all the time and learn all about them as I grow in the grace and true knowledge of who they really are in character, nature and love.

Yes! When this man I listened to finished, he said, now...does all of that make you want to go out and sin??

Stunnedbygrace,
I wasn't trying to discount your feelings and what you experienced! He can work in this way. However, all I said was that we do need to test all things. Sometimes having goosebumps isn't from the Holy Spirit and Satan can imitate. As believers we are not feeling and experience led but Spirit led. I'm sorry that you mistook what I said for saying it wasn't valid. Perhaps I worded it strangely?

When one is born again it is like we know that we know, we are His. His presence permeates our 'knowing'.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Amen brother!

I just have no experience to understand what you are saying. I believe you though if you say you have experienced this exact thing, what you have come to experience as His voice (the goosebumps, the joy, the waves)happened in the exact same manner, but it was an evil spirit just mimicking our Lord's voice perfectly. I haven't experienced that, so I believe you that it has happened to you but I can't even fathom it. I feel really bad for you though because it sounds like the most awful thing I can even imagine to experience that!

There is so much going through my mind but I don't know if I can exactly convey it.
There was a man who said, oh no! Please don't come near me because I am a man of unclean lips. He thought he would die because he was seeing God. And he was given a burning ember and when it touched his lips, he was clean and could approach God.

Then there is another vs that I always thought was talking about Jesus but couldn't connect it to anything to know why, that says...this man is like a burning ember pulled from the fire.

And this burning ember is the same one that touched the man's lips and made him clean. It was an ember pulled from the fire of sacrifice and this was all telling about Jesus...!

We grieve Him when people speak this grace and we come into that thread and try to stop it with our arguing, bitter cursing and shrieks of liar! Liar!

Oh God help us, we are the Pharisees...

Amen...I think there is a Pharisee in all of us and it's called the flesh..

..let's walk in grace and live by the spirit within us...that new man of the heart...the new creation in Christ.

Sleep well...and this happens to us in the night ....the Lord speaks to us...and our spirit ponders Him..

Psalm 77:6 (NASB)
[SUP]6 [/SUP] I will remember my song in the night; I will meditate with my heart, And my spirit ponders:

Amen and thank you. I am going to bed so happy and peaceful and filled with calm joy. I love talking with you all!

However Grace7x77 puts it there is a subtle twist which is lethal.

Our sins are forgiven up to today. You do not know your future or how you are going to behave.
It is possible to walk away from Jesus, to choose to do evil, to rebel and let the world swamp your heart.

If you believe all your sins are forgiven, future as well, you interpret the verses about having a clean conscience that your conscience is clean no matter about your current behaviour. The morality is it becomes evil to feel guilty about the evil you do today, because that is now satan. Now believe this and you are lost, literally.

We are called to walk righteously. If you sin, you repent, confess and are forgiven in Christ. The enemy will always try and get His people to justify sin and say it is forgiven while continuing in it.

If you identify sin, understand it in your life, take it before the Lord, and he shows you what is wrong, then it can be sorted.
The enemy lies and calls many things sin, which are not, they are relationship issues, distortions of understanding, frustrations at the restrictions of life, but not sin. Do you not hear the lawyer saying you are condemn because you wear the wrong type of clothes, say the wrong words, do not have the right job.

"Your conscience is unreliable." No, you have not worked through the issues and resolved them. Conscience is about emotional balance, not morality. Your conscience should be precious to you, it is something that helps not hinders your life.

The voices you hear in life need to be addressed by the word, by Jesus, by your experience, by fellowship, by the Holy Spirit. But to ignore voices is to ignore the Lord and what he is doing in you.

I have heard too many people say, the issues in my life are too complex, leave well alone. That is the enemy speaking saying Jesus did not come to work things out, areas of darkness are fine, minor issues hidden away, who will ever know or care.

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ. We can't change that to: there is now no more condemnation for those who are in Christ, UNLESS they sin, and then all bets are off and they are condemned once again and the blood no longer covers them and they need to be sealed again.

I am guilty of, since I have been sealed, of murdering someone in anger, in my heart. I testify that He did not leave me when I did this. He chastised me when I was ready to listen, and He changed my heart to love the person instead of hate and resent them. I don't know how, so don't ask me because I can't tell you how He did it but He did when I asked for help. He did not leave me.
