Israel is not America's 51st state so why do we give them a dime-?

RB,

The fact remains that we would have had no chance for salvation if it were not for the Israelite's.

"Remember when in the past ye were Gentiles" Eph 2:11

"Ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" Gal 3:26

Again, Christians are Israelites.

No, they are not. That is Replacement Theology and false doctrine.

At the beginning of the church (first called "Wayists"), this debate started. The Jewish Christians expected Gentile Christians to fall in line with Jewish tradition. That caused many new Gentile Christians to leave the church (in a hurry), why? One word, Circumcision. Circumcision for a grown man was pretty much a death sentence, bleeding out and all that. These events written often in the new testament make it clear that Jews and Gentiles are very different, in the physical world. Spiritually ALL Christians are equal. Just another thought, did you know that originally the term Christian was to be an insult. I can see that interaction now. You are just a, a, a Christian (meaning Little Christ)! THANK YOU, such a wonderful compliment. God Bless

I'm starting to wonder if I'm a client state of Crossnote.

He's the rep power hegemon who doles out the reputation points to a scrappy underling who pushes his agenda.

One must have theology (the study of God) before replacing it. Peacenik is
When saved:unsure

You really can't have a theological discussion with a humanist. Something like bringing a kickball for a game of baseball.

Ahhh! This I did not know! Unsure is certainly a different story. You judged the situation correctly. You and Lady Blue have a knack for seeing thru the er,poo.

You obviously do not understand the New Testament as it is clearly stated that a Christian is not a Gentile. But if you can prove to me that the New Testament is incorrect, I shall gladly believe you.

If you are not a Jew you are a Gentile. You can be a Christian, but you are still not a Jew,thus you are a gentile.

No ..you clearly don't understand the spiritual fulfillment of those things written in the Old Testament in regards to the flesh ...It don't mean those things are not true in the Spirit and in the flesh.

Show me where that is written in the Bible.

Prove to me that, somehow, the non-Judean tribes of Israel were excluded. Prove to me further that the New Testament teaching that "those who be Christ's" are excluded as well.

I await your proof, not just your opinion.

I have made two direct quotes from the New Testament to prove my point.

Where is your "proof" to the contrary?

I want PROOF, not your opinion.

For instance circumcision was a shadow of the true circumcision in the spirit ..not in the flesh ... That don't mean that which was promised to the Jews after the flesh is not still a promise from God ... It takes nothing away from a jew because we gentiles have been grafted in.

I know what you are getting at. You can believe false doctrine all you want. I'm not wasting breath on your nonsense. Replacement Theology is false doctrine. Prove that wrong.

I'm quoting scripture in every point I'm making..if you knew the scriptures? You would know everything I'm saying is directly from the New Testament.

By the way these are not even the best Scriptures to try and make your point.

Mitspa, he is(removed)...Read through his posts. He is adverse to every single Christian POV in the short time he has been here. All he is about is being oppositional to us. Maybe a atheist who gets his jollies doing what he is doing. If I was you, I would not waste my time...

please do not attack those you do not agree with it doesn't help your point .

thank you

That only illustrates that there have been changes in the Law - a transition from the old Mosaic into the new Messianic law. A change, not necessarily an abandonment. If anything the fact that changes take place strengthens my argument so that Christians are now Israelites as newly defined in the New Testament.

I await any "proof" to the contrary.

Ok ...of course everything you say is wrong except the idea that we as believers have been grafted into Israel and its fair to call ourselves part of Spiritual Israel ... not earthly Israel ...Israel after the flesh is still under those promise made to Abraham and the fathers through the flesh. you don't seem to have enough biblical knowledge to even be in this discussion. You should be asking questions and not trying to give answer about things you are (removed rudeness0
