Those fire and brimstone sermons are meant to keep you safe, not turn you against Gods commandments. Those are for you, Like you would tell your kid " stay out of the busy road" or " dont play with matches it has the potential to kill you" some people Hear " If you do this i will destroy you" But its actually " if you do this, you will die"
When the isrealites finally were gathered to hear God speak at horeb, they became terrified and begged moses to ask God not to speak anymore to them or they would die. the reason is because they were hardened sinners, so to hear Gods word,, condemned them. a true Christian though is supposed to be a new creation created to be like God is true righteousness and holiness. its not okay to disregard God telling people to repent, the same as its not okay to tell another persons child " its fine if you play in the busy street speeding cars cant hurt you" when the "grace" doctrine changes what God has said to mankind it is an echo of the serpent telling eve " surely you wont die, the fruit is fine for you to eat"...it sounds good to the person wanting to eat the fruit, but sadly the result is exclusion from the tree of eternal Life. Life and death is the difference.
itsa a mystery to me how people claiming to believe, choose to believe a line here and there, can a persons behavior exclude them from Gods Kingdom?

How do you guys read these scriptures, and then tell others " no matter what you do, you are already saved, God wil never be true to His word because romans 8:1 says no condemnation? to deny the truth about repentance will bring fire and brimstone.
Romans 2:6-11 "But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to EVERY MAN according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and DO NOT OBEY THE TRUTH, but obey unrighteousness, INDIGNATION AND WRATH, 9TRIBULATION AND ANGUISH UPON EVERY SOUL OF MAN THAT DOETH EVIL, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that WORKETH GOOD, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God."
the truth is what it is, and Love doesnt hide the truth of such an important thing. Love isnt making up an unconditional salvation to make someone feel good about themselves, thats actually imparting death to the person. Because people distort The Word to please man and make Jesus seem acceptable and unconditional regardless of all He says just like paul wrote directly to the church, repentance is required for salvation according to the scriptures in Gods word. if an author then goes and says " forget about all that <<<<its not the Bible that has to change it never has nor will. sin will lead to hell its really simple. that fire and brimstone message is meant to save the people who ill hear, and condemn those who hear it but refuse Gods roghteous Judgements.
to reject scripture that is abundantly clear with101 excuses why they just dont apply to the church is herecy without Question. Hell is as real as eternal Life in Gods presence, to with hold the truth because we assume no one wants to hear it, and to then go and say " forget all that cookiness written in the bible," I will tell you haw to actually be saved , is the worst kind of thing for people. the grace alone doctrine really reveals itself in peoples minds to turn them against the truth of Salvation.

Actually, the message was that if they ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, in that day, they would surely die. They ate, and they surely died. Right there, right then. And hundreds of years later their bodies died as well.
There is a death much worse than physical death.
Just trying to live by only eating from the good side of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil may make you a better person, but you will just be a better dead person....because you are still eating from the wrong tree. Christians have another tree from which to eat, the tree of Life, who is Christ Jesus. Whose purpose in coming was not to make bad people good, but to make dead people alive. And the way we grab hold of that life is simply through faith in Him.

absolutely correct my friend. Gods Word says He will never change, as well as Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever.......nor will the evil one ever change. His word will always oppose what God has said. this is the very reason we need to understand that Jesus spoke the eternal Word of God, so that we may Know the truth and thr truth will gusrd against the deception. satans deception is the issue that Jesus came to fix, He decieved them with words opposed to the truth , Jesus spoke the truth to destroy the lie that caused sin.

A powerful reading of the book of Ecclesiastics seen from a man at the end of life without God...The final conclusion of the whole matter at the end of the book he says man's whole purpose in life is to fear God and keep His commandments...Same conclusion as Romans 12-1.
