LOL. Saying women did stuff, well, according to you, then, that's just silly, and yet it is your position. Ridiculous. Eve was deceived but ADAM sinned willfully. Put that in your pipe and smoke it :)
Hm! I thought the moral was not to be led by women into doing the opposite of what God said. Which is basically what your responses are about. I don't think I'm gonna fall for it.

It is true that the feminist movement was started and run by men...those men were not concerned with their physical needs. They, with all of their money, had everyone around to do whatever they wanted. The root of it was documented more than a century before. Research Rockefeller and the feminist movement.

Saying that "men" (generally speaking) did stuff..well, that's just silly.

I think it was Zen that said something about there being more women going to the flames.
I find myself wondering...will it be all of those millions of women from 100AD to 1800 who refused to follow the commands of "the Holy Spirit" to speak up in church? And who refused to tear off their head coverings and wear crew cuts?
Women generally don't understand important and honorable things. They have no concept of honor. They are emotional thinkers. Their brains are smaller and less neuron matter.

May God bless all the men who stayed single to avoid them.

Not sure about head coverings, but as for women being silent in church it's a biblical teaching no one can denies.

God's scripture isn't a device.

What did David and Solomon seek? Wisdom and understanding in men and women, righteous people. He only found it in men.
Yes God's scripture the bible is a device for knowing and learning, and verse 29 says men have sought after many of devices that are not of God.

Only one that was pleasing to God will escape the one woman pural who has snares and nets.

Farther down the preacher proclaims he hadn't found such a woman among the group he was talking to but did find one man who was pleasing to God, thus the mentioning of verse 29 basically saying the men have come up with many excuses.

We can't cherry pick which teachings of Paul are for a local church and which are applied to all churches.

All pauline epistles are applicable to all churches.

Yeah, it should be applicable to all churches everywhere and at all times, you really want to say some pauline epistles are only applicable to the church he is adressing, then how can we say which are applicable to all, just because we don't like the teachings?

It's the same thing people who want to say God doesn't condemn homossexuality do, they say those texts are only applicable to that specific group of people or needs to be read in context...

First off homosexuality has nothing to do with Woman being silent in church, how can you say it applys to all woman when Paul clearly wrote the letter to the church of Corinth, period, not all the women of the world he would have said it that way if he meant it to be like that.

How did Jesus treat women? Think about it. And we are His very own body.
Jesus accorded the honour of being the first to testify of His resurrection to a woman :) He explicitly instructed her to go and tell the men, but of course, they would not listen to her

Oh, ok. Do you send your weekly collection to Jerusalem? No? but wait, didn't it apply to all chuches everywhere?

1Now about the collection for the Lord’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. 3Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.

Are you a neuroscientist? You seem to have very little understanding of the brain and how it works. I can find research to support practically anything on the internet.

Human brains appear to come in at least two flavours: male and female. Now variations in the density of the synapses that connect neurons may help to explain differences in how men and women think.

Even when intelligence levels are equal, women and men excel at different cognitive tasks. But although brain size and neuron density differ between the sexes, these don’t seem to correlate with cognitive differences. So, Javier DeFelipe at Complutense University in Madrid, Spain, and colleagues counted the number of synapses instead.

The brain tissue they analysed came from the left temporal cortex, a region of the brain involved in emotional and social processing, of four women and four men with epilepsy. The tissue itself was healthy, having been removed to allow doctors to access underlying damaged areas.

The men had up to 52% more synapses per brain “layer” in this region than the women. While the effect of high synaptic density in this region is unknown, the team suspects that there may be other regions where women out-synapse men.
In any case, says DeFelipe, although different synaptic densities indicates different circuitry between men and women, men shouldn’t get too cocky: the density of synapses in mice is greater than in humans.

I have a theory myself that I would like to present to see if anyone might agree.

The reason behind the men of religious thinking is wanting to control the women such as in dress, makeup, jewelry, long hair could be because of lust.

That lust in the men has never been dealt with, and the men have never learned to love their wives as Jesus loves His own body. So in their guilt, they project it to their women. Trying to control to make them look "good".

Why the women do this yet in religious thinking, I have yet to "see".

This actually came from a dream I had last night. So what do you all think? Agree or not?
This is true to an extent...but I will say that a man of God who loves his wife as Christ loves the church and has renewed his mind to the word, this should not be a problem....

I was mentoring a young Pastor and one of his elders got in a huff over a woman wearing a very low cut blouse...it did not move me or the young pastor, but it moved that elder, boy he was upset at that woman....The young pastor leaned over to his elder and said...hey brother, maybe you should give that lust over to God.....that elder resigned and left the church, instead of lowering his pride and getting delivered.....what we did not know, was this Pastors young wife walked up to the woman and very politely said....honey, put them away and cover up....that lady also quit the church.....we found out later and no surprise the deacon and her had been fornicating for a while...and the elder lost his marriage and everything over it...

That all said, pew research shows we now have just as many women in the church addicted to porn as men....young girls and young women today have no Biblical worldview on this stuff...which is once again why I consonantly/consistently cry aloud and spare not about discipleship...

Most studies are based on 'averages'. The fact is some men can think like women and surpass their skills eg. multitasking and intuition, and some women can think like men and surpass them eg. building and management.

Considering only the average, takes out all the anomalies people don't want to question why they exist.
