5 Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be
born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.
7 Wonder not that I said to thee: You must be born again.
8 The Spirit breatheth where he will and thou hearest his voice:
but thou knowest not whence he cometh and whither he goeth.
So is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Yes and hearing His voice has nothing to do with getting a feeling or acting strange or using your ears to hear something, NOOOO. It is gaining understanding of what is happening and also the scriptures because that was the promise. "..when the spirit of truth comes He will explain everything..."

Only to those that believe
Only to those that believe what? That Holy Spirit baptisms are provable? If so that is circular reasoning, the thinking of the gullible masses.

But it's no good if you are not listening and blocking his work.

Mathew 7

7 ‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 ‘Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

The Holy Spirit will control individuals at times for their own understanding and personal experience in relating with the Father.

In my own case when the Holy Spirit has come upon me I was not controlled per se, however I was obedient to fulfill what I was directed to say and do.

Here is my personal experience of both occurring, my obeying and another being influenced to participate.

One day driving my truck on my "Pony Express" route in the Rockies I saw a guy hitch-hiking up the way, but before I got to him, someone else picked him up. So I made my turn and continued on my route. Because I knew the highway well, I was quite a bit ahead of the people who picke up the hitch-hiker.

As I drove the Holy Spirit came upon me andtold me to stop at a certain road side rest cum turning area. I did. And when the folks finally caught up with me, the pulled over in front of me, and let out the hitch-hiker.

It turned out to be a young lady in a levy outfit top to bottom. As she walked to the edge of the highway I motioned at her to come to my truck to my cab. As I motioned at her she shook her head no yet kept coming and got into the truck.

I said to her, "You are going down to Beaver Road, aren't you?" She nodded yes but did not speak. So I turned my truck around and took her to her turn-off point where her place was an easy walk. I was given a message for her, and she understood implicatively. She just sat there looking at me, and I said, "That's all!" She got out, and after I arrived at my next mail pick-up I realized God had used me.

While these things occur they seem as natural as breathing, and they are. You see when one believes God, there is no such thing as a miracle to that person because it is the nature of the Holy Spirit, of the Father, of Jesus Christ.

Praise God Almighty, He is worthy, not us, amen.

What you are describing is the providence of God, very different from the physical supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit. If you would have come into contact with the latter your reaction would have be quite different.

This reply is also bizarre. Your quoting scripture is not idiosyncratic it's your off topic responses that are peculiar. None of your verses address the issue of "how" one can know if one has been baptized with the Holy Spirit. The verses present a strong case for its existence but not the case for its individual & personal presentence upon a Christian.

actually the verses do address them. i'm sorry you did not see that in them. First off a Christian should not look to a man for vaildation of what is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit . We are to have faith and Trust Jesus and the word of God. The scriptures that i provided :) say Jesus is the " Baptizer in the Holy Spirit". Jesus said " If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will yourheavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

There is the answer right dar :). Ask Jesus trust HIM to do it. And don't think you have to prove the claim of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, that is a trap and foolishness . The Holy Spirit in you will produce a life like Christ. Is it not funny the only ones who did not know the Spirit of God was on Jesus were the religius self-rightious pharsieeses? the World knew . When Jesus full of the Spirit the lost were saved, the blind eyes were open and the dead were raised. Jesus said " Tell John " ( when John the baptist asked should we look for another) tell him what you have seen and heard--the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.Luke 7:22

The question is not does the Christian "need" to prove their baptism of the Holy Spirit bout "can" the Christian prove it. You are addressing questions not asked. We may very well "trust HIM to do it" but that is not the OP question. This is another example of your bizarre replies that I struggle to understand. You ignore the question and ramble on about your own version of the question. Even your example is puzzling. John the Baptist asked for validation that Jesus was the promised Christ. Jesus "proved" to John that He was the Christ by His actions. Jesus did not tell John to "trust HIM" but offered validation.

It is something new for me, saying the providence of God, Yahweh, may act in place of His Holy Spirit. When I feel the Presence it is the same as when the Holy Spirit first entered into me. Perhaps this is foolishness, but I do not believe I have been alone since that instand whenI realized this age is dung and everything awaits me.....

The providence of God is all around us all, both the good and evil are subtly affected by it. But physical supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit are rather unmistakeable. We should never label the mundane as supernatural acts of the Holy Spirit.

I must stand on what the Holy Spirit has given me to understand, and praise God for it.

"Are the Holy Spirit Baptisms claims provable?"

for one to answer the question asked they should understand or have understanding of " Holy Spirit Baptism " would you agree ? If not why are they asking this question ?

1.what is the Holy Spirit Baptsim?
2.Who is the One that does the Baptizing ?
3.when does it happen?
4.How does one who claims to have been Baptized in the Holy Spirit Prove it

I think for one to have contexual , Biblical answer; you have to answer the first three questions.

Now I could be wrong :)
So I will try to do this I think with the Help of the Word of God

answers :
1. The baptism of the Holy Spirit may be defined as that work whereby the Spirit of God places the believer into union with Christ and into union with other believers in the body of Christ at the moment of salvation. Mark 1:8 ,

2.
He ascended to heaven: “For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit” (Acts 1:5). Jesus is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit John 1:33 Jesus made this Possible "“For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink” 1Cor 12:13

3. You recieve the Holy Spirit when you are saved Rom 6:1-4 and 1Cor 12:12-13

4. by faith Eph 2:8-9 Jesus breathed on the Discples in John 20:22 and said "
"Receive the Holy Spirit.".

The word of God foretold by John in the Gospel of John Jesus is the Baptizer in the Holy Spirit. After Jesus had risen from the dead He personally Breathed on the and they recieved that believed. The Holy Sprit empowered the Discples as recorded in Acts chapter 2 Jesus told them to wait until they recieve power to witness . The empowering was not for salvation they were already saved. So how can it be proven ? THE WORKS THEY DID comfrimed that they had the Holy Spirit. faith with out works is dead which means the Holy Spirit Baptzim will produce work that Jesus did .

born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God.
John 3: DRB
Yes according to the water of the word, by the Spirit of the word. In another place, that which by we are born again is called, the incorruptible seed. It’s how we find the spiritual understanding hidden from the lost in parables we look to the things unseen(the faith principle) , the eternal, using the temporal things, seen.

Jesus said its an evil generation natural man that looks to a signs and wonders gospel requiring a sign before they will believe God not seen.

Signs are for those who rebel. Prophecy, the water of the word for believers.

1Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Water is simply not used to describe the word of God in its companion verse above.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but atthe things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; butthe things which are not seen are eternal. 2Corinthians 4:18
