The Holy Spirit will control individuals at times for their own understanding and personal experience in relating with the Father.
In my own case when the Holy Spirit has come upon me I was not controlled per se, however I was obedient to fulfill what I was directed to say and do.
Here is my personal experience of both occurring, my obeying and another being influenced to participate.
One day driving my truck on my "Pony Express" route in the Rockies I saw a guy hitch-hiking up the way, but before I got to him, someone else picked him up. So I made my turn and continued on my route. Because I knew the highway well, I was quite a bit ahead of the people who picke up the hitch-hiker.
As I drove the Holy Spirit came upon me andtold me to stop at a certain road side rest cum turning area. I did. And when the folks finally caught up with me, the pulled over in front of me, and let out the hitch-hiker.
It turned out to be a young lady in a levy outfit top to bottom. As she walked to the edge of the highway I motioned at her to come to my truck to my cab. As I motioned at her she shook her head no yet kept coming and got into the truck.
I said to her, "You are going down to Beaver Road, aren't you?" She nodded yes but did not speak. So I turned my truck around and took her to her turn-off point where her place was an easy walk. I was given a message for her, and she understood implicatively. She just sat there looking at me, and I said, "That's all!" She got out, and after I arrived at my next mail pick-up I realized God had used me.
While these things occur they seem as natural as breathing, and they are. You see when one believes God, there is no such thing as a miracle to that person because it is the nature of the Holy Spirit, of the Father, of Jesus Christ.
Praise God Almighty, He is worthy, not us, amen.
