If god is "all-powerful" then why did it take him 7 days to create everything and why did he have to "rest".

Shouldn't he have been able to do it in 1 day and not rest?

Or is this all a metaphor so there's no possible way to know what it means for sure...
His reast was in His Father.
The God that saw, and was pleased, was the Father.

Gen 2:7 KJV - And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
yes i know.

i'm saying IF evolution is true that does not mean there is no god.

but it would mean no god of the bible.

not saying it is true just saying IF it is...

notice also i said "a god" not "your god"

so is the "father" and "son" separate? or the same?

if they are the same then resting in the "father" was just resting in himself?

and if they are "separate" then "jesus" was not god? (the father)

so there are 3 separate beings who are all called "god"?

or one "god" changed into 3 different forms at different times?

or he was different forms and one true form at the same time?

You said something on the previous page about no god ever helping you against demons.
Did you ever call out to God and ask Him to? God works in many ways, sometimes wonderful and visible ways, other times things are more hidden, but reveal themselves once you have a closer look.

As for God creating the earth in six days, why not? I can write a story in a day or I can write parts of it through several days, doing the last does not mean I cannot do the first :) Also, God exists outside of time, he basically created time, light and substance all in one go once He started creating. (I don't get it either, as has been said before, we are bound by time. )

First off god didn't create anything. Don't know who he is and what he is capable off, but he sounds unconvincing to me as anybody worthwhile to mention.

However there is someone else you might be interested in that did create everything in 6 days and declared the seventh a day of restoration. His name is God. In each day He created a new dimension and unfolded up to a next and a next as the days continued. He created everything in a plan and did not just snap His fingers so that His creation could see part of His plans and handywork. Is He all powerful. Yes, but He is also all knowing. And also present everywhere at exactly the same time, space and in each dimension up to the last which is all bounded in Him. All creation is His design and nothing absolutely nothing, including Hurricanes happens without His knowledge.

People always want to ask where God comes from, who created Him. Let me explain something to you. If I were to show you the entire USA all at once, every bug, every worm, every bird, every animal, every thought, book, person, sand grain, fruit, vegetables, plants, insects. I mean everything in the entire USA and the meaning and purpose behind it and what it can be used for, and I show you all of that knowledge in a single millionth of a second. Your brain would probably pop. I don't think there is anyone on earth that could handle all that. We don't even undestand the fourth dimension, which is time in its complexity. And now people want to act intelligent and claim that they can be so intelligent that they can actually know how God came about. Let alone the fact that He can hold seven stars in His hand, one of those stars being bigger than our entire planet and Jupiter combined. So I ask you. If God being that powerful is graceful and allow you to talk about Him. Would you not consider as first that you at least give Him respect, and second truly try and find answers in His grace. For terrible it would be for anyone or anything that would ever anger Him.

Lastly for I see the little garbage you placed in as a footer. There is no such thing as luck. Luck is a lie of a demon that the Apostle John chased out of one of the temples in Acts - go look it up. So neither luck nor fate exists. Nothing happen by chance. Everything is planned by the Almighty.

Learn and become wise. Be humble or you shall be humbled. For God cast down the arrogant. Learn the peace of God. Learn to hear His voice and obey His commandments and you shall learn to know Him intimately and learn more than what you can handle in knowledge.

Bingo.

And moderators, can we do away with that character minimum for posting?

If you ask a generic god for answers you're not going to get anywhere. If you ask the one true God for answers that may not work either. Don't know if you ever saw the movie iRobot, but like the hologram in it said, sometimes you have to ask the right question.

And sometimes you have to stop questioning in order to hear the answers.

No, that's tri-theism.

or one "god" changed into 3 different forms at different times?
No that's Modalism.

or he was different forms and one true form at the same time?
I don't remember what that is called.

It is one being: God
Three persons that are distinct from each other. It's not really an easy thing to grasp. It's kind of like light. Is it a particle, or a wave?

well of course knowledge and experience are a part of perception...

The Father and Son are separate entities, as is the Holy Spirit. However, they are one in thought.

I don't know about you, but I cannot believe that God would want any of us to dismiss anyone from learning of Him. It is my contention that anyone reaching out, no matter where, is sent by Him for edification.

Could it be said that they are one in purpose (will)?

well i hope everything is not planned by "god" cuz that would mean our downfall was planned and of course he had a redemption plan so he planned both our downfall and redemption?

so this is all just some planned out script? o_O

hope that's not true...that would suck...

i've asked a ton of questions...if none of them were the "right" ones...well then blah me...

well i thought i gave adequate time for answers...guess it's all my fault "god" ignores me, right?

guess i havta follow some specific procedure or i'm not worthy of his time? -.-
