To make sin you break the law....
God cannot break his own law, so he cannot sin...

Lucifer broke the law and created sin.

For instance, if I say, South_FLA don't pick up your hand, and you pick up your hand in rebel.

Did you create anything new? No, you chose the alternative...

The reason Satan created sin, is because before him rejecting the law, there was no rejection of the law... He created it....

The same way our founding fathers created a Republic, before them there was no republic, it is an alternative idea, no creation of matter needed.
Dude I agree.

"To make sin you break the law....
God cannot break his own law, so he cannot sin...

Lucifer broke the law and created sin."

So yes Lucifer broke the law which is sin. And like you said if God didn't give us free will we would be like robots yea? Okay so the fact that free will includes both doing good and doing evil, means God had to create the evil part of free will.

If God created free will and didn't create evil, that means all our free will would be is doing good things. As humans we naturally don't do that. We naturally do evil things.

When a govt. creates laws, they do not create the evil that will happen if break them...

When a mom says, don't go playing in the street, she does not create the car that will hit you....

God created a perfect existence... We took it and decided not to have it and created an existence that was imperfect.

But how could we as created beings do things that are outside of our God given abilities?

"When a mom says, don't go playing in the street, she does not create the car that will hit you...."

Yeah of course you can't blame the mom for the car. What I'm saying is God creates humans with natural instincts to rebel. He knows at one point in your life you will rebel/sin because he cursed the earth. When God created Lucifer, he created him with free will, that natural free will includes making bad choices along with good ones. If God did not create evil in Lucifer, how could Lucifer act on his evil intents? If God didn't create evil, Lucifer would've never been able to rebel because rebellion is evil.

4 points.... And then I am honestly to bed lol

1 it is not outside our abilities to rebel.... This is given with free choice...

2, God did not create us with the instinct of rebelling... He created us and gave us free choice... With this free choice we chose the nature of sin and rebeling...

3, God is above space and time... Time is tied directly to the universe we live in... It is a very long topic to get in too but maybe we will at a later date... This being said, God is not bound by time... He lives outside it, he created it... A god bound by time is not a god that is all powerful because that god would be bound within the confines of the universe...... You cannot create what you are stuck in.

4, when a couple has a child, they know that the child will mess up in it's life time... But there is a possibility for greatness... God has given each one of us that possibility of greatness no matter our mental state, physical state, or spiritual state... It is not about the possibility failing, it is about the possibility of succeeding.

Technically "Jesus" name is Yeshua Ha-Mashiach. Jesus is the english translation of the hebrew name. Ha-Mashiach meaning the messiah. Commonly the hebrew names of the bible had meanings behind them unlike english names

In free will don't we act on our instincts? Aren't our choices a result of our instincts?

I definitely was not trying to say God made Lucifer on earth I'm sorry if I made it sound that way. Obviously God is outside of time/space and he made Lucifer in heaven. When I brought up the cursed earth I was just talking about how God knows as humans it will be natural for us to sin.

So where do you stand on the "who chooses our names" thing? I personally can't decide.

For me personally I'll have to say our parents do. If God himself were to give you a name there would be a greater meaning behind it. In comparison to our parents naming us because it sounds nice.

Hmm if we throw James 1:13 into the mix it does change up my idea which is good. Maybe it is not our natural instinct as a human to sin but naturally on this earth the devil will come to you and tempt you? God definitely knows you will act upon this temptation. It is impossible not to without God in your life.

I hope that's true because my name is stupid. If God gave me my name I'd be kinda mad at him for it. But at the same time it would be a relief to know God named me because I guess he had a good reason to name me that.

Or do our parents choose it?
If God chooses our names He must have a sense of humour. In particular some Rock Stars have come up with some
great examples like Bowies Zowie or Jacksons Blanket. Hippie Parents called Children things like Star Dust and Sky Child.
Fortunately here we can get our names changed legally.

I could see calling myself Sky Child.

There are books of names some Parents buy that gives their original meanings. Others give names that originate from other family members, the Bible or Saints

The Bible tells us that when we in the New Earth, His name shall be in our foreheads, it is a new name. I think it will be personal to each believer, depending on the relationship each saved person has with Christ. We will have His name. Rev 3:12, Rev 22:4. It could all be the same name of Christ, or different names. I think they will be different. You might not like your earthly name, but you will have a new one that Jesus gives you.

Parents...

If God chose our names, He wouldn't have needed to tell Marry to name her son Jesus...

Luke 1:31
this sentence contradicts itself, it is because God chose his name that he had to tell marry or else she would not have known what to name him.If the parent mary was the one who chose the name then mary wouldn not have needed God to tell her what to name him.

there is power and meaning in names often times our names can even describe things about us. My name Blain has many meanings one of them is an infected oozing wound and my mom hated my guts i sometimes wonder if she knew the meaning of it when she named me but in the hebrew language each letter has a number to it and if you calculate the numbers of my name and seek the meaning of it then it means agape love which coincidentally is the gift I am strongest in Christ.

if he chose that name or not I honestly cannot say but it would be interesting if he knew what I would seek more than anything as a Christian and named me something that in this world is a gross and infected wound but in his is love

It does not contradict itself... Here is why...

If God chose our names, he would not have had to tell Marry to name him Jesus.... The reason is, his name would have already been laid out... And unchangeable by definition.

BUT! If we choose our childrens names, then God has to tell marry to name him Jesus... If he does not, then marry can name him anything, breaking prophecy and many other things...

God did choose his own name if you choose to look at it like that, but... You have to realize, this does not prove that God chooses our names... It proves our parents due... The only reason to tell marry to name him Jesus is to make sure he is named Jesus....

As to your name being "oozing wound", I would say you read far to much into the meaning of your name and should stop....

My step fathers name is Skeet, which is slang for sperm/semon and for shooting clay pigeons... LOL
My name is Tony, which means worthy of praise, and I am the biggest mess-up in my family...
My sister Marie, means sea of bitterness, but she is the nicest out of the family...
My brother Mark, means god of War, yet is the least likely out of me and him to get in a fight...
My sister Sabrina means from Cyprus, yet she is from America, Colorado...

Shall I go on?
