Jesus died for/because of unbelief, homwardbound.
this sin will be forgiven.
and it will be overcome by pistis (God's Gift of faith).
it's the one sin, though that will keep men from entering His Rest....because they are yet hating Him.
they do not believe He forgives.
that's why the Lawyers are so successful....they say He doesn't forgive.
God is a Merciful God.
that's what we show sinners....His MERCY.
in Christ.
that's all we have.
Yes because of the unbelief, thank you and the following is just food for thought only, everyone is free to believe as they want to!!!!
you mentioned he will forgive you are we not forgiven already back at the cross or does Christ have to come back and shed more blood to get us future forgiveness if and whenever we might sin. And since it says that are past sins are forgiven how soon are anyones sin past? So the ? comes if and when I sin what do I do with it since there is no more forgiveness to be executed it is finished John 19:30 Well I sse this as we go to the throne of grace not fopr any further forgiveness but to Fasther and say thank you for that past sin being foirgiven as soon as it past, so Father that was not who I am now can you please teach me how to trust in you, so I am am out of the way and your perfection of love shed abroad in my heart shows through and all the people will praisnd not me, Thank you I do not know how you will do this through me but I know you will.
So please let us excercies finished work of God and rest as he has already rested. That is when real work genuine work takes over, which is not work its restful work, the love of God
2 Peter 1:8-10
New King James Version (NKJV)
[SUP]
8 [/SUP]For if these things are yours and abound,
you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [SUP]
9 [/SUP]For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness,
and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
2 Peter 1:8-10
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
[SUP]
8 [/SUP]For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [SUP]
9 [/SUP]
But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
[SUP]
10 [/SUP]Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall,
