I am looking for PROOF that what is written in Exodus 20:3-17 is what the “Ten Words” or “Ten Commandments” were. I know God said those things that are in Exodus 20, but I want to know what was REALLY written on the tablets of stone. There are three scripture references that speak of the tablets of stone, but none mention Exodus 20. I see "covenant" but not really what man has labelled the "Ten Commandments."
Exodus 34:28 -"Moshe was there with ADONAI forty days and forty nights, during which time he neither ate food nor drank water. [ADONAI] wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Words."
Deuteronomy 4:13 -"He proclaimed his covenant to you, which he ordered you to obey, the Ten Words; and he wrote them on two stone tablets."
Deuteronomy 10:4 -"He inscribed the tablets with the same inscription as before, the Ten Words which ADONAI proclaimed to you from the fire on the mountain the day of the assembly; and ADONAI gave them to me."
