Hmmm!

Thanks for saying that, sir.

I don´t mind to admit I fear increasing the gap I know when I loved, particularly when I know there´s a saying: "Love hurts" and I don´t want to be hurt and I´ve enjoyed loving (although with the turmoil of ruptures) and I don´t believe what others said ("...perfect love casts fears away...") (1Jn 4:18).
When a person loves, at least the way I think love is, no harmful thing is expected, and I have realized that our Lord, that One who was willing to come down here to set us free, was creepily betrayed (and hurt) disloyally.

I rather chose "baby steps" to love a few.

By the way! If loving is giving attention, care, etc. How could a single person share himself (or herself) having bunches of ppl around?

If I´m not enough to pay attention my own family (and their basic needs) how come will I pay attention of those around (who probably are more than a dozen of ppl).

I know my limits, and I know ppl also know they are limited (and terrified by those stumbling blocks they know as limits)

:(

God did not say that love hurts!

I think that love is that one in 1Corintians 13 chapter – unfortunately in English Bible there is only one of the meanings of the word – it is only „Charity” – BUT it is not only charity only in the original. There is the same word which is used in John 5:42 – and it`s meaning is “God`s love” - it is “agape” in Greek –and according the dictionary of Strong it is „ag-ah'-pay”; love, i.e. affection or benevolence; specially (plural) a love-feast:--(feast of) charity(-ably), dear, love.

Let see what will happen if we use the word LOVE instead of Charity
4. Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Charity never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether [there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Not sure? If God do not love us on the way above – we all would have been dead already. So that is the love. By the way – in the Greek translation of the bible there are 4 words of different kinds love /to parents and kids, people, husband and that one of God / So let see what is the meaning of love in Songs 1:4 “ dowd dode or (shortened) dod dode; from an unused root meaning properly, to boil, i.e. (figuratively) to love; by implication, a love- token, lover, friend; specifically an uncle:--(well-)beloved, father's brother, love, uncle.”

The love between man and woman often is mess because of the flesh –lust, jealous, fears. But if it is true love such things just disappeared because the love of God in them gives them the love which is not able to live without trust and as we know the trust is
Hebrew 11 : 1. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

By the way there was pretty good song of Foreigner "I want to know what love is" /not sure if there in it is singing something about climbing ah hahahaha - I am hopeless of it! love to camping but I am not a goat!/

Leviticus
8:33. And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in seven days, until the days of your consecration be at an end: for seven days shall he consecrate you.

Mathew 5
14. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

I love you brother!

Good morning!

God PROBABLY never said that, but He also felt it when His own Son died at the cross (when He also "died" when He was physically {and spiritually} separated from the temple He has in Jesus´ body) God dwelt in Jesus´ body, so He probably felt what his loved one felt and suffered (Joh 14:10 Don't you believe that I am one with the Father and that the Father is one with me? What I say isn't said on my own. The Father who lives in me does these things.)

The Spanish translation says love hurts (1Co_13:4 El amor es sufrido...)

Maybe it wasn´t God saying it or writing it, but I won´t bet Paul knew it (but he loved as any human being had loved).

ASV says it: 1Co 13:4 Love suffereth long,

Vulgate says: 1Co 13:4 Caritas patiens est, (...) that is what you said, about CHARITY.

Webster says it better: 1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long,

And I have to learn a lot about it.

"The love between man and woman often is (a) mess because of the flesh –lust, jealous, fears. But if it is true love such things just disappeared because the love of God in them gives them the love which is not able to live without trust and as we know the trust is "

It also has been messy with God, since the beginning, in the Paradise (when Adam-Eve failed to follow up God´s will)

Whenever a person loved -selfishly- he or she might have felt jealosy. And that, with particular respect to God´s 1st love, humans are prone to fall short.

I checked this:

(CEV) Jer 31:3 Some time ago, the LORD appeared to me and told me to say: Israel, I will always love you; that's why I've been so patient and kind.

(ASV) Jer 31:3 Jehovah appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

In both versions 1 Cor. 13:4 can be seen LOVE as "long suffered" and as an "enduring love". And it isn´t difficult to find in several portions of Scripture God felt jealousy (with our messy love):

(ASV) Exo 34:14 for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
(CEV) Exo 34:14 I demand your complete loyalty--you must not worship any other god!

(ASV) Deu 4:24 For Jehovah thy God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.
(CEV) Deu 4:24 The LORD will be angry if you worship other gods, and he can be like a fire destroying everything in its path

So love, as enduring and long suffered it is (or could be), hurts when it has its human and divine zeal.

How come you are using an archaic Bible translation? :p

I use, also, e-sword.

Further information there:

Actually year ago I began using my first Bible - Bulgarian orthodox translation. It was somehow not clear understandable and God send me a man -like contemporary Mordecai - the Ester`s uncle - who was telling me the Word only - nothing else but the Word /and who does not approve my presence here by the way! - thinking it is much time taking and here are many sharks and I am not good fisherman yet. He is somehow like Yet :)/ In the church where I accidentally was drop for while /spiritual excursion/ there appeared Canadian missioners and they gave me my first protestant Bible /Bulgarian also/ After it I have received a gift from a friend -electronic Bible - few translation of Bulgarian and few more in Strong ...and that was the beginning :)
Kings James version is the only one I had access. By the way I do not understand it properly so I use my native tongue and then English verse - just compare it as it happens to be different number or something.
Thank about the link - my Anti -Viruses System said it is ok - will try it even there is no Bulgarian :)

Wow ...My new sword is working - Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

.....so I'm gonna backslide. I'm gonna start tithing to the local hireling and sit quietly in the pew. I promise I'll make that awesome man my focal point of adoration.
Im gonna start making sure the poor and the widows are coughing up their tithes. If they are hurting financially, well, sucks to be them.
Heb. 7:8

And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

Who is the he that lives and receives tithes and how does he receive them?

In a dream I had sometime ago, I entered a synagogue. Someone led me inside there... I was very welcome, by the way (I won´t write the whole of what I saw)

And the "Mordecai" I met (a man with big glasses and white hair) after having seen a nice looking WOMAN and a teacher

up.png

led me to a fountain where its falling water smelled as being too clorined... I asked him about that beautiful teacher I saw and, before hearing anything, I knew I had to be cleaned while my hands were purified in that white fountain which smelled like water chlorine soaked.

One of the great things about heaven will be the fellowship of all the saints around the throne of God. Great joy and rejoicing.

Hardly the saint has a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Jesus said He would never leave nor forsake us.

If you are alone it is because you have alienated your friend. Nobody appreciates the company of an obnoxious man. Can two walk together except they be agreed? Amos 3:3

For the cause of Christ

It is good to see that you are not seriously about those thought's, but also I must remind that you should give all value for your exhortations.

God is holy, and we should be holy in our manners as he is holy.
