Interesting :) You are an interesting specimen Mr Chicken Killer :D Haha. Seriously, though, have you ever had anything of a paranormal experience? I wonder what drives this fascination if you believe none of it? Sounds a rather morbid curiosity without some inclination to discover the truth of any of it. You are trying to uncover something. Do you record your dreams?
I confuse myself on a daily basis.

Paranormal experience? None that have really stood out to me. I have heard many stories and some are hard to discredit. Ive always been interested in the paranormal. Ive had ouji boards, voodoo dolls, weird books on witchcraft as a kid. My mom who was really into the church got most of the stuff for me. Now that I am an adult I am realizing how odd that was. I dont think she thought it was odd, it was just what I was interested in, so she hooked me up.

Actual ghosts are things that are hard to discredit. There is something to them, just not sure what they are. I have a theory that they are the energy that is released from our bodies when we die. I figure that energy has to go somewhere. I find ghost stories about ghosts repeating the same thing over and over again very interesting. If there is a hell those people may be in it.

Okay, aside from paraphernalia, boards and books and voodoo dolls and such,
what about your mind? You have a decided bent for these things, this is called
the occult, it is specifically what born again believers are steered away from,
some of us come out of that very same background, and I agree, it is a bit odd
your mom supplying you with the tools and toys of darkness. You say you have
had paranormal experiences, but none that really stand out. What were they?
Do you mind telling me/us? Ghost encounters maybe? Why do you elevate these?
Did you lose someone very close to you? Have you had NDEs?

Funny you mention that. When I met my hubby he was kind of like you as far as ghosts. He use to watch all the tv shows. When we met he asked if I believed in ghosts. I said I did,but not in the same way most people did. I believe they are demons speaking to people trying to trick them and frighten or posses people. I think I scared hubby,he doesn't watch the shows anymore. lol

One day I was flying an rc plane and the prop fell off. For some reason I asked my dead grandpa to find it for me because a storm was coming up. I searched for a while and went back to the place I was flying and the prop was laying on the grass. Not sure what to make of that. lol

For those of us who no longer believe in god. I'm curious why god does not do more to convince skeptics that he does exist. A lot of us are comfortable with the idea of a god but after going to church we just cannot believe that god is real. I guess we could just say we do, but that doesn't seem right either.
Faith pleases GOD,those that come to HIM must believe that HE Is and those that come to HIM believe that he will reward them that diligently seek him.

GOD gave man the five senses that If used properly helps the body, like for Instance If a person touches a hot stove, their body tells them through sense knowledge, move your hand but man has went past using sense knowledge properly and started basing belief on sense knowledge.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Ro 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Think about that.................

You asked Grandpa, and you kept searching. Yet you did not find the prop. Gramps did not direct you to the prop. If he had, you wouldn't have been doing all that searching.

When you gave up the search, I have to conclude, figuring Grandpa wasn't going to help..... or you would have kept searching till he came through for you...... then, at that point of giving up the search, you were led to the prop.

That is often how God works. He waits till we have exhausted our ideas and methods before He shows us that all He ever wanted was for us to simply depend upon Him.

Or, you can just believe you got lucky.

Suffice to say they are agents of darkness, unclean spiritual beings/forces without physical form, bent on usurping your intended place in creation, for not only are they opposed to God and God's plans, but they seek to destroy your chances at personal redemption offered freely to all through Jesus Christ; they themselves cannot be redeemed, and their apparent head, known chiefly as Satan, is said to be god of this world, for he rules the natural man, who is at enmity with God, through the pride of life and the lusts of the flesh.

I dont understand this comment and why it was directed towards someone asking an honest question.
Strawman is a logical fallacy. I actually don't think what you asked was a strawman fallacy, but here's wiki's description of the term, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man) so at least you don't think she's saying you aren't thinking. (You are thinking, or you wouldn't have asked.)

(And, yeah, I'm not answering your original question, because I think Billy's response was a good answer.)

It was an amazing experience that was supernatural. I have no way to explain it.

Many people have a false idea of who God is and what He wants us to do with our lives.

James says that true and pure religion is visiting orphans and widows, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting prisoners.

God is found in the hearts of His people and through the majesty of His creation.

He moves people from selfish desires to agape love.

He sent His son for the remission of sins.

He doesn't have to prove himself to you, but He does through the written words in the Bible and the moving of the Holy Spirit in the lives of His people.

Ummmm, actually he has done quite a bit to prove his existence...

A) Day unto day utters speech
B) Night unto night sets forth knowledge
C) No language or voice that is beyond comprehension
D) the invisible things also testify to the power of God and the Godhead
E) Unto every man has been dealt a measure of faith (the ability to believe)
F) He sent 40 plus authors over 1600 years to give the scripture
G) He testified dia miracles, signs and wonders (1st century A.D.)
H) He has built in conscience as a divine spark of right and wrong
I) The history of Israel gives weight to the validity of God
J) His Spirit convicts and convinces dia a still small voice prodding one to believe
K) The heavens declare the glory of God

There is ample proof for those honest with the facts........
outstanding D!

Hey CK.....they are all based upon verses of scripture and or history....for example....

Psalm 19:1-4
1) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2)Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3) There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4) Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

Romans 1

18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19) Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Everything I posted is based upon scripture bro....and or biblical truths

I think this is a wonderful question. I have a question to ask you; why does G-d have to prove to you anything? When my son was little I would slap his hand gently and say don’t touch …hot he would do it again, I would do and say it again…. The third time guess what I let him touch… he got burnt (not bad and I cared to his boo-boo I’m his mother). My creation did not want to listen to me his creator (in the natural, maternal sense). I didn’t try to prove to my son I am your creator and I know things you don’t if you just obey me you won’t get burnt. If he would have accepted my word if you touch you will get burnt so don’t touch he would have not been burnt. But he thought he knew better, and what am I, so he did as he pleased and got burnt.

The created never likes to accept they are the created; that means they have to answer to someone and be accountable for their actions.

G-d gave you His written word, He has told you.he is not surprised if you reject your creator. The Bible says Moses and the prophets have told you and if you will not listen to them you will not listen to Me.

So what id the “church” makes you not believe (sad, but so what), the Bible says we can come boldly to the throne of grace and receive mercy. G-d has already proven to you He exist. All of creation declares His glory, and I tell you this if you refuse to cry out and declare His glory He can raise up stones that will, in fact they already do! Paul said if He does not exist then we are men to be most pitied, your argument is not even new, because there is nothing new under the sun. but He does exist!!!! We that are saved are not those that need pity, I PITY YOU. There will be a day you stand before the judgement seat of G-d, I hope you do not have to G-d even though you gave 66 Books, gave me creation, answered my prayers in fox holes, and even kissed my boo-boos even though You shouted it is hot do not touch, I rejected you because some people in a building we called a church gave me a bad taste in my mouth so chose to believe I did not have to answer to my creator….

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

1 Corinthians 1:18-31King James Version (KJV)[SUP]18 [/SUP]For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
