This place is overrun with SDA's, SNM's, HRM &c. Some deny they are SDA, which may be true, but the fact remains they are some branch off of that cult.
Hello P4T, Do you BELIEVE God's Word? There is only life in the living Word. These are his Words and not my own. Freely I give because freely I have received. Your Words are not directed towards those who BELIEVE God's Word but to the one who the Word belongs.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house of the devil, how much more shall they call them of his household?

There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. I must speak in the light and what I hear preach in the housetops. Many will not hear because they do not know Him. He is the Word of God and those that believe him are those that he has chosen. They follow him because they love him and are loved by him.

Do you know the scriptures P4T? Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE. Those that do not LOVE do not KNOW God for God is LOVE and LOVE is the fulfilling of God's LAW in those whio BELIEVE. This is why Jesus days; If you LOVE me keep my Commandments.

Do you LOVE Jesus P4T?

...........

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

Sabbath Observance was a commandment for the Nation of Israel only

On Mt Sinai at the 1st Pentecost, when Moses give's the Law. The Nation of Israel is born. This is a covenant between God & Israel.

Exodus 31:16 Wherefore """the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath""", to observe the sabbath """throughout their generations""", for a perpetual covenant.

17 """It is a sign between me and the children of Israel""" for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
(NOTE: Sabbath abservance is between God & Israel. Gentiles NEVER had a law covenant w/God)

Nehemiah 9:13 Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

14 And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant
(NOTE: These LAW statutes & commandments: were given to & BEGAN with Moses & Israel "NOT BEFORE" after the deliverence from Egypt. Read the verses piror to 13 & 14 for futher clarity)

Deuteronomy 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
(NOTE: The Sabbath commandment came after the deliverence from Egypt. And was given only to the Nation of Israel)

Conclusion:
Sabbath observance did not precede the Law of Moses. God's requirement for ""Israel"" to keep the Sabbath does not exist until after the deliverance from Egyptian bondage. And gentiles were never a part of this Law Covenant.

NT believers were never a part of the Sabbath law covenant:

Rom 2:14 (A) For when the Gentiles, which have not the law,

NT Balievers have always worshipped on the 1st of the week.

1. Jesus was resurrected on Sunday:

John 20:1 “Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.”

Mark 16:9-10 “When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.”

2. Jesus appeared to the disciples on Sunday:

John 20:19 “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"

(NOTE: That the Jews were following the Roman method of days in Jesus’ times. Morning to morning refer to one day, while in the Old Testament it was evening to evening. Otherwise John would have written in the evening of the second day.)

3. A week later Jesus appears to His disciples again on Sunday.

John 20:26 “A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"”

4. Pentecost (The outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit ) also happened on Sunday.

Acts 2:1-4 “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.”

Lev 23:15-17 clearly explains that Pentecost happens the day after the seventh Sabbath:

“From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.”

1 Corinthians 16:2
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Acts 20:7
7 Upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread (communion),

NT Believers always worshipped on the 1st day of the week Resurrection Sunday!

PART 1/2 for easy reading..... :)

God's Word would disagree with you my friend. Who is God's Isreal in the NEW Covenant?

There are no gentiles believers in the NEW Covenant. Gentiles are grafted into God's Israel who the Word of God says are those that BELIEVE the Word of God and FOLLOW what God says...

Let's look at the scriptures.......

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He says not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, AND TO YOUR SEED, WHICH IS CHRIST (
Galatians 3:16)

Abraham’s seed is Israel.........

THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE (
Galatians 3:28).

No explanation needed, believe God's Word, and again..........

FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED (
Romans 9:6).

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (
Romans 2:28-29)

God's Israel...............

Galatians 3:28-29,
THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Colossians 3:11,
WHERE THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 10:11-13,
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW OR GREEK: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

Romans 2:28-29,
FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY ; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel..........

Jeremiah 31:33-4,
BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS,AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Hebrews 8:10-12,
BUT THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; After those days, says the LORD, I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Hebrews 10:14-17,
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND INTO THEOR MINDS WILL I WRITE THEM; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Galatians 3:29,
AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAMS SEED AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel which represent God’s followers the believers. If you are not part of God's Israel you are not part of the New Covenant (
Hebrews 8:10-12).

God's Israel are those that believe the Word of God and follow it and is why Jesus says If you love me keep my commandments (
John 14:15)

You should BELIEVE the scriptures you quoted they say that the Sabbath is a FOREVER COVENANT (NEVER ENDING). The NEW COVENANT defines God's ISRAEL as those that BELIEVE the WORD OF GOD and FOLLOW it.

All scriptures provided in the previous section. Time to leave Sunday school my freind. God is a Spirit and those who he calls to worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth.

Commenting on your intepretation in bold...

Well that is not true at all as we read in the scriptures.....

Genesis 26
5,
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

Genesis 5
24, And Enoch walked with God:
and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6
8,
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9, These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

God destroys mankind because of sin......

Genesis 6
5,
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only EVIL CONTINUALLY.
6, And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7, And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

What are these CONTINUAL EVIL THOUGHTS?

Matthew 15
19,
For out of the heart proceed EVIL THOUGHTS, MURDERS, ADULTERIES, FORNICATION, THEFTS, FALSE WITNESS, BLASPHEMIES
20, These are the things which defile a man:

Evil is breaking God's Commandments in thought and actions.

Cain was punished by God for Murder......

Genesis 4
8,
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9, And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10, And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11, And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12, When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13, And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

links to....

1 John 3
12,
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13, Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14, We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15, Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

The Mosaic laws for remission of sin (SACRIFICIAL SIN OFFERINGS) were also practiced BEFORE Sinai....

Genesis 4
4,
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering.

Genesis 8
20,
And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar

SIN is the transgression of God's LAW (10 Commandments) please read Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4 and James 2:11. God's LAW gives us a KNOWLEDGE of SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS (Romans 3:20) SIN offereings were only practiced in the OLD Covenant for the remission or forgiveness of SIN (Breaking God's 10 Commandments) If God's people did not have God's LAW why are they offering SIN offereings to God if these laws were only known about in Mt Sinai?

Abraham and his son practiced and knew about sin offerings...

Genesis 22
7,
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8, And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Exodus 10
25,
And Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.

Yep once again before Sinai...

The Sabbath was also kept by our first parents and also others BEFORE Sinai. The reason God gave the 10 Commandments again was being His people had been slaves in Egypt for 430 years (Exodus 12:40). God delivered his people from Egypt (the World) and needed to re-teach them his ways which were mostly forgotten by this time.

So yep God's LAW and the laws for remission of sin and burnt offerings of the OLD Covenant were indeed practiced BEFORE Sinai.

To be continued...

.........

PART 2/2 for easier reading :)

And was given only to the Nation of Israel) Conclusion: Sabbath observance did not precede the Law of Moses. God's requirement for ""Israel"" to keep the Sabbath does not exist until after the deliverance from Egyptian bondage. And gentiles were never a part of this Law Covenant.

Commenitng on your commentary in BOLD. Well that is not true at all either. The Sabbath was made at the 7th Day of the creation week and given to Adam and Eve. Let's look at the scriptures........

Genesis 2
1,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2,
And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
3,
And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

RESTEDH7673שָׁבַת shabath
(
shaw-ɓath') v.to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.
{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away. Some points to note from the scriptures...............

v1
God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the 7TH DAY
v2
God RESTED on the 7TH DAY
v3
God SET APART the 7TH DAY and made THE 7TH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2
The 7TH DAY is part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEKLet's now look at God's 4th commandment............

Exodus 20
8,
Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
9,
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10,
But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11,
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested theSEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT.

SABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת shabbath
(shab-bawth') n-e. 1. intermission, a period of temporary rest.2. (specifically) the Sabbath, the seventh day being the day of rest.[intensive from H7673]KJV: (+ every) Sabbath. Root(s): H7673Now who did God make the 7th day a Holy day for? Is he making that day a Holy day for himself? Of course NOT God is already Holy. He has made the day for MANKIND as a HOLY DAY.

Let’s see what Jesus says…………

Mark 2
27,
And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the Sabbath.
The Sabbath was made for WHO? The Sabbath was made for MAN. So here we have the God of creation telling us why the 7th Day was made a Holy day. It was made for MANKIND

STRONGS Greek MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (
an'-thrō-pos) n.
1. (literally) man†-visage (i.e. a man-faced being, a man who has visibly come of age).
2. (concretely, in Hebrew) a clay being (a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). 3. (generically, in English) a human being. 4. (indefinitely) a certain man (i.e. someone).
[from G435 and ops “the countenance” (from G3700)] KJV: certain, man Root(s): G435, G3700

So the Sabbath was made for Human beings; clay beings (we are made out of the dust); male and female

So God made the 7th day of the week a HOLY day and blessed it for MAN this now ties in very nicely with the 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) God says that it is a specific day which is the 7TH DAY OF THE WEEK that he has made to be a HOLY DAY.

Jesus says it was made Holy in the creation week for mankind. All scriptures connect and are in harmony. Genesis where God made the Day a HOLY DAY;

God’s 4th commandment to His people that says to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to KEEP it a HOLY DAY and Jesus stating that the Sabbath was made for MANKIND (Human beings; male and female).

Now if God made the Sabbath for mankind then obviously Adam and Eve had the Sabbath the GREEK Word for MAN G444 ἄνθρωποςanthropos (an'-thrō-pos) n. is a clay being(a classification of beings made in the image of God, who made them male and female). There is only two people made out of clay (dust) and that is Adam and Eve.

Yep God's Sabbath given to mankind in the Garden of Eden and made in the Creation WEEK. Only God's Word is true and we should BELIEVE it. Those that do not BELIEVE God's Word are UNBELIVERS and UNBELIEVERS have no part in God's Kingdom.

Now I have taken some time to address all of your posts. Please if you disagree please state your case and your scriptures? Simply ignoring my posts does not make the scriptures go away that disagree with you.

1. Jesus was resurrected on Sunday: John 20:1 “Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.” Mark 16:9-10 “When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.”
This proves what?

2. Jesus appeared to the disciples on Sunday: John 20:19 “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" (NOTE: That the Jews were following the Roman method of days in Jesus’ times. Morning to morning refer to one day, while in the Old Testament it was evening to evening. Otherwise John would have written in the evening of the second day.)
This proves what and why would the jews be following the Roman calander when they had their own? Scripture please?

3. A week later Jesus appears to His disciples again on Sunday. John 20:26 “A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"”
This proves what?

4. Pentecost (The outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit ) also happened on Sunday. Acts 2:1-4 “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.” Lev 23:15-17 clearly explains that Pentecost happens the day after the seventh Sabbath: “From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.”
This proves what and I think your intepretation of the Feasts needs to be re-looked at my friend

1 Corinthians 16:2 2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. Acts 20:77 Upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread (communion), NT Believers always worshipped on the 1st day of the week Resurrection Sunday!
This proves what? Now lets' be honest here my friend. You have not posted one scripture that says God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day have you?

Now please I have gone through each section of your post and shown with God's Word that your interpretation of the scriptures are mixed up.

If you disagree please respond to my post and scriptures stating why you disagree with scriptures like I have done to your post.

If you cannot you should think about what you BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word.

...............

I just want to say that this discussion is going on between people who have a 'different spirit !!!

There are those who have the Spirit of Obedience and those with the spirit of DISobedience !

The two will NEVER NEVER agree !!!

There comes a time when it will be be too late Rev 22v11, 14, 15 !!!
This is absolutely correct.

Its unfortunate that those who remain blind and deaf to the Lord Jesus Christ cannot see that the Old law written on stones has no hold on Christians.

Whats even more telling is that ALL the sda's and hrm's think that they are philosophically against the Pharisees of old and are now following the law in the carnal way that God originally wanted.

The Pharisees made up ways to follow the law in the power of their own flesh and understanding while ignoring certain other parts of the law. SAME EXACT thing that sda's and hrm's do. They pick and choose their favorite o.t. laws and find ways to ignore their less favorite o.t. laws.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Is the "spirit of obedience" in those who follow the law?

Or is the Spirit of Obedience in those who have been delivered FROM the law and are the workmanship of God?

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Sabbath Observance, Israel & Gentiles

On Mt Sinai at the 1st Pentecost, when Moses give's the Law. The Nation of Israel is born. This is a covenant between God & Israel.

Ex 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that "the LORD doth put a difference between the Nations and Israel".
(NOTE: The LORD put a difference between the Nations/gentiles and Israel)

Rom 2:14 (A) For when the Gentiles, which have not the law,
(NOTE: Gentiles were never under Mosaic law)

Gentiles are justified = Declared Righteous by a Sovereign God) Thru Faith not law keeping!

Romans 3:
19 we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
(NOTE: The law speaks to those who were under it = Jews. Gentiles never had a law covenant w/God))

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his (GOD'S) sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
(NOTE: Law keeping can't save anyone. It only exposes sin)

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
(NOTE: But NOW! Righteousness is revealed thru FAITH, without law keeping)

Rom 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness (thru works/law keeping), have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
(NOTE: Gentiles attain/become righteous in God's sight thru FAITH)

Gal 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
(NOTE: God declared Abraham Righteous thru/by his FAITH)

Gen 22:5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and """I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you""".
(NOTE: ""Isaac & I will return"" Abraham never believed God would take/keep his child of promise)

Hebrews 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
(NOTE: Abraham BELIEVED God would Raise Isaac up or provide a sacrifice. Hence, Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means "the LORD will provide). Later on the same Mt ""Moriah"" God provides the Christ)

Gal 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
(No person is justified = "Declared Righteousness by God Himself" by law keeping. Justification comes thru Faith)

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
(NOTE: Gentiles enter into God's promise made to Abraham. By Faith placed in Christ's redemptive work)

17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
(NOTE: God made a "By Faith" PROMISE to Abraham, 430 years, before Moses give's the law to Israel. The law DOES NOT ANNUL God's earlier By Faith promise)

For this message was preached to us, as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not benefit them, because they did not share in the faith of those who obeyed-- However, we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: So I vowed in My wrath, They will not enter into My rest, although the works were finished from the foundation of the world, For He spoke in a certain place of the Seventh Day, in this way: And YHWH rested the Seventh Day from all His works. And in this place again: If they will enter into My rest. Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, Again, He designates a certain day, saying in David: ''Today,'' after so long a time, as it has been said: Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts. Walk trough the valley
While convincing that we are not under the law but under Grace, by accusations towards sinners, witch we all are apart from Jesus: the law kills, much Like king Saul desiring to remain in charge, set an example for David, not to take things in His hands to Kill Saul. We still acknowledge the law, came to see better in a discussion with a friend. You mislead to think that the law is completely irreverent in the same way your accusations become irrelevant in absence of Grace. We can't expect the law or those under the law to have compassion. When the Holy Spirit addresses us in our sin, it's with compassion. You have mistaken the law for the truth of God. "The law of Moses was given by angels, but Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." Jesus could not help religious leaders see differently, certainly I can't help you. "Whosoever will, let him come and drink of the water of life freely."

'Loving God and neighbour ARE the 10 Commandments' as Jesus teaches in the NT...
that's misrepresenting what the Lord said: He said all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two

why do I need a reminder from the OT ?
lol well, there is no command to keep sabbath given to believers in the NT, so maybe you're being duplicitous with that statement a little bit?

The Old carries a lot of 'baggage that no longer apply now...let's give JESUS/Yashua the power and authority to rule and reign NOW as per scripture.
Jesus said all the Law and the Prophets hang on two commandments which are not part of the decalogue.
He says all the scripture testifies of Him.

how do you call it all "baggage" ?
if you want to truly "let Him reign" why do you call God's own commands "baggage" ?
why do you get to sort through them and ignore some of His commands and call others "baggage" ?
what makes you the authority to decide which commands to ignore and which to hold everyone up to?

I never promoted Moses' law, you are well mistaken there and hope you will correct it !
let's get one thing clear: there is no "Moses' Law" in the sense that any of these commandments in the Sinai covenant came from Moses -- they were all commanded by YHVH and it is one Law, given through a testator.
if you say, only "the ten" are God's commands and the rest is from Moses, then you are in obvious error.
if you say this, you are trapped by what you have said, because "love the LORD and love your neighbor" are not part of the ten -- they are what you just called "baggage" and implied came from Moses, not God.

you never promoted keeping the whole Law; that is true. you promote pretending to keep it while you call it "baggage" with the same breath. you promote breaking part of it while imagining you keep all of it. you promote only a semblance of Law-keeping. you promote breaking the Law itself into pieces and picking and choosing from it the things you like, and throwing in the trash whatever parts of the Law displease you, and calling that "keeping the Law"

James - talking about "do not show partiality to the rich" - which is in Leviticus 19:15, what you call "baggage from Moses" - says breaking one part of the Law makes you guilty of all of it.

But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the Law as transgressors, for whoever keeps the whole Law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

have you decided James 2:9 is also "baggage" ?

is Leviticus 19:15 "not baggage" but Leviticus 19:19 "baggage" ? all of it is from the LORD !!
who makes you judge over which commandments to abolish and which to condemn believers with?

but there is
a more excellent way if only we would actually turn to Christ and believe Him crucified and risen !!

John 7:37-39, “And on the last day, the great day of the festival (the “Last Great Day”; final day of the Feast of Tabernacles)יהושע stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in Me drink. As the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.. And this He said concerning the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive, for the Set-apart Spirit was not yet given, because יהושע was not yet esteemed.”

Revelation 22:16-17, “I, יהושע, have sent My messenger to witness to you these matters in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of Dawiḏ, the Bright and Morning Star. And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And he who hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts, come! And he who desires it, take the water of life without paying!”

Revelation 22:1-7, “And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of YHWH and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And no longer shall there be any curse, and the throne of YHWH and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. And they shall see His face, and His Name shall be upon their foreheads. And night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה Most High shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his YHWH and he shall be My son.”

John 4:10-14, “יהושע answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of יהוה, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me to drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” The woman said to Him, “Master, You have no vessel, and the well is deep. From where, then, do You have living water? Are You greater than our father Ya‛aqoḇ, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, and his sons, and his cattle?” יהושע answered and said to her, “Everyone drinking of this water shall thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I give him shall certainly never thirst. And the water that I give him shall become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

John 7:37-39, “...As the Scripture said*, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water...”

*Zechariah 14:7-9, “And it shall be one day which is known to יהוה, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light. And in that day it shall be that living waters flow from Yerushalayim, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea, in summer as well as in winter. And יהוהshall be Sovereign over all the earth. In that day there shall be one יהוה, and His Name one.”

Jeremiah 2:12-13, “Be amazed, O heavens, at this, and be frightened, be utterly dried up,” declares יהוה, “For My people have done two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew out for themselves cisterns, cracked cisterns, which do not hold water.”
Jeremiah 17:12-14, “An esteemed throne, exalted from the beginning, is the place of our set-apart place."17:13, "O יהוה, the expectation of Yisra’yl, all who forsake You are put to shame. “Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken יהוה, the fountain of living waters. Heal me, O יהוה, so that I am healed. Save me, so that I am saved, for You are my praise.”

2 Thessalonians 1:5-10, “Clear evidence of the righteous judgment of יהוה, in order for you to be counted worthy of the reign of יהוה, for which you also suffer, since יהוה shall rightly repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give you who are afflictedrest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know יהוה, and on those who do not obey the Good News of our Master יהושע Messiah, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master and from the esteem of His strength, when He comes to be esteemed in His set-apart ones and to be admired among all those who believe in that Day, because our witness to you was believed.”

2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Hosheyah 6:1-3, “Come, and let us turn back to יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. After two days He shall revive us, on the third day He shall raise us up, so that we live before Him. So let us know, let us pursue to know יהוה. His going forth is as certain as the morning. And He comes to us like the rain, like the latter rain watering the earth.”

Revelation 14:13, "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, the ones dying in the Messiah from now on! Yes, says the Spirit: because they will rest from their labors, and their works do follow them!"

Only the self sanctified or delusional person would say loving Yah and loving their neighbor the way Yah He says is not the way...
it is the LORD who sanctifies, not the self, and no other. that is expressly the purpose of the sign of the ritual, physical observance of sabbath was given to teach Israel.

But covet earnestly the best gifts,
and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.

"Behold, on the mountains are the feet of one who brings good tidings
and who announces peace.

Celebrate your feasts, O Juda,
pay your vows,
for they shall not add any longer to pass on to becoming old.

It is finished. It has been removed.
Delivered from trouble, he rose up.

How sad for you my friend how sad how sad. There is only life in the living Word.

If you have lost your word then you lose your life. If you have the Word and do not FOLLOW it then what use is the WORD you have lost your life.

It is the Word of LIFE to those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of life. How sad how sad when those have the Words of life given to them but refuse the Word's of LIFE. How sad how sad.

If our eyes are not open we cannot see the Garden of Eden or the paradise of God. Sin closes our eyes and makes us blind but seeking Jesus can open the blind eyes to see and the deaf to hear.

The Word that is rejected will not go away and will return to remind us come judgement day what was freely given to give LIFE and what is rejected in choosing death.

............

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30-31). God's Word says if we break one of the ten we stand guilty before God of breaking all the commandments of God (James 2:8-12). God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) and if we break it like any of the other commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN (Exodus 20:1-17).

If we break any of God’s Laws we stand guilty before God in SIN (James 2:11; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Romans 3:20). This includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?
thank for your concern my friend,

sad that you believe sabbath law is valid for new covenant. I never read sabbath law enforce in NT, what Paul say about every day alike indicate otherwise.

you not answere my question, why you call kill sabbath violator AS Israel civil law and not kindle fire oN sabbath God command

Paul is talking about what you/man/woman esteem to be right/ what you consider right...just because YOU have your own opinion or own understanding does NOT make it right....do you grasp that ?
When you have a different opinion from GOD you show rour spirit of disobedience and rebellion. Scripture says if two walk together they are AGREED...you are not walking with God if you have a different opinion. When you insist 'every day is alike you are CONTRAdicting God and make Him out to be a liar because HE says the Sabbath day is holy and not every day.

The second death in the lake of fire is eternal !
friend, you think Paul condem people who esteemeth every day s like go to hell is your opinion, It doesn't people that esteemeth every day alike go to hell.

can you show me what a word Paul say at that verse that make you think people that esteemeth every day s like go to hell?

If Paul meant the Sabbath, a Sabbath or a specific day in relation to worship, he would of had to say so due to the high regard for these days to avoid any doubt. The Sabbath is not mention. To assert that is what he meant is to assume. To assume is to add what is not in the text.

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
(Deu 4:2; Rev 22:18 KJV)
Every day alike mean sabbath is like sunday, like monday, like tuesday ......?

My friend your salvation is between you and God now you do not need to answer to me but to the one who God's Word belongs.

I am no one and only a voice sharing the Word of God. I do not judge you. Your question has been indeed answered and you have rejected it (POST # 37734 linked). So sad so sad.

Sin will keep all those who practice it out of the Kingdom of Heaven. Yet there is still time for you if you harden not your heart and will turn to him who loves you. If you do not it is indeed between you and God.

How sad it will be for those who had the Word of God and heard the call but said no. How sad how sad...
