I forgot to mention Randy Alcorn. I've only read one book of his - "Heaven" but it's a brilliant, biblically-sound look at the New Heaven and the New Earth.

tin...i bought The Temple and the. Church's Mission A BIBLICAL THEOLOGY OF THE DWELLING PLACE OF GOD - G. K. Beale

but found it extremely hard going. i had to go to the footnotes and do background reading first.
hopefully i'll get to it one day.
it's on a shelf for now, as it's too much for me at this time.

Zone, sounds interesting! "Heaven" on the other hand is comprehensive and needs to be studied but it's altogether an easy read.

Sidenote; the tares (thorns) are planted and grow by the devil. 'No master, someone else came and planted those'. So each field has both wheat and tares.
Thank you for that explanation enlightening to me so bottom line the wheat would be those in God sealed by God through the Holy Ghost and the tares would be none other than the flesh that we all are originally born with thus needing to be born again of the Spirit of God as Jesus said in John 3, left with all one needs to do is change their mind from unbelief to belief for the good work to begin in them through the operation from God starting at the cross of Christ

And either way, Zone, I don't condone sin. Because clearly, with either outcome, it carries no benefit. I'll be submerged in the flame of God for unrepentant sin. Not a nice experience.

Weeping and gnashing my teeth.

But then, that would only be fair, if I had a sin in which I ignored to change myself. For instance, pride. Or envy. or anger. Or being foolish.

So even though I can believe on Jesus and repent of many sins, I still think there are plenty that I am guilty of. Hating in my heart being one.

Zone, I believe in repentance in Christ. Because sin is pointless and Jesus was right. That's true.

But I also believe I can't be perfected without God's help. Cause sometimes I sin out of frustration of anger or simply a thought that I shouldn't think.

So, what happens to those unrepentant continual sins?
All sin is past tense forgiven back at the cross of Christ. There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood and Christ is the final sacrifice for all sins. What happens from here is you receive first that from God the Father's vantage point that you are forgiven by him through his son Christ, the payment was blood and Father is satisfied. Once you receive this then approach the throne oif grace in confidence having your advocate with you Christ Jesus, and say to Father thank you for your Son, now Father that I am over trying to be forgiven and see that you have past tense already forgiven me back at the cross of your Son and that there is no further repentance (forgiveness) to be executed, will you now teach me how to say no to the things that are not right for me to think or do? Then a thank you that you trust that God will do what you asked him to do. which is the finished work of Jesus then unto the resurrection then the power you now have by God to stop thinking about whether you will sin again or not and get busy with the new life installed in you the Holy Ghost of promise the same Holy Ghost that Jesus followed and did what was told, is in you and you now by the new life in you the power to say no and not think about the old life any longer, because it is dead, all things are new. As long as you or I focus on the old all I , you or anyone will do is the old going back and forth from Spirit of God to flesh. But once the old thoughts that controlled you, me or anyone else are dead in other words you don't think about them anymore then they do not control you anymore, I am an ex-alcoholic ex-druggie ex-smoker all by God renewing my mind bescause I chose to listen ans thus see from god's vantage point. Those things used to control me by dominating thoughts of me trying to quit kept me in bondage to them. In order to overcome them I had to change my way of thinking to God's view point and God's view point is not the way of this worlds. From God's viewpoint he just loves you that is the begining of the new life your belief in that and then trust him to teach you how to quit trying to create a way to stop whatever it is you want to stop and get busy responding to God and his finished work saying thank you, and as long as you are focused on this you will not have time to sin and it will have been God that took this away so you will not be proud or boastful over this and if you are then that is a sure sign to you that your flesh is still in the way. It is a process in learning the truth the truth that sets one free from the bondage of Sin. So whatever one has done it is behind as fast as it is done before any of us can get to ask for forgiveness or anything. Keep on trying to stop any sin and through your thought of it creates it to be in your way again and again and again as Paul wrote in Romans 7
Hoping this help to grow you or anyone reading this in God's miraculous undeserving grace

Don't know if you noticed or not, but this forum attracts a lot of wolves.
Wolves are throughout the world all over everywhere, it is up to us to love all as God loves us. wolves ourselves or were depending on whether we have chosen belief or not. How can anyone of us claim LOVE God's LOVE if we only love those that love us, you know even the heathen do this. I once was a wolf how about any of you? and if any of you are wolves you are loved by God period and God is reaching out through the Holy Ghost to all in Love Godjustloveyou hoping you all stop, regroup and see the love lavished on you from God through his Son that went to death for you so God can come live in you by the resurrection of his Son first then you he will raise by your belief in him to a new life in him as he showed you physically in Lazereth, this is what God is trying to show each and everyone of us here today and now die to your flesh mind Spirit and be renewed to Father's viewpoint where all sins and lawless acts are behind his back never to see again whooing you, me and all that will come to belief to see and focus on the new life placed in you wherre you do not think about sin again for iti s dead in the new you in the Holy Ghost, being busy and thanking God for accomplishing in you what you never could or can in the old self. Yet we have been fooled into trying to do so and thus mis the mark being angry, jealous, commiting adultery, mostly behind closed doors, and it is all because we are trying to do the perfect work of God in the energy of our own flesh, instead of dying to the flesh as Paul said he died daily, so please you all let us start if we haven't already and continue to die to flesh daily learniing to walk in the Spirit daily where there is no issue of sin at all, and therefore you have escaped the sin issue by the power of God living no more just in you now through you as is what God's will is for you, just as his Son showed you when here on earth, doing nothing or saying nothing without being told by his Father who lived in him by the Holy Ghost of promise to you that is in you the believer, thank you all for listening

correction noted:
it is John Warwick Montgomery not Waewick.

Zone-the only surf I know that dad Rod messes with is the foam on top of his mug.

It is biblical to confront heretics and love does not always come in the package of "tolerance".

Alistair Beggs the man:cool:brilliant communicator.
I agree, I thought his sermons on the life of Joseph is one of his bests....I'd love to hear more of him...but time constrains me.

Sometimes, I prefer to not listen to theology, and have a good life application sermon. Alistair Begg is definitely my man for that. I love how he rolls.

Apologies, Crossnote, for the ADD :)

Right now, for me it's Luther and Luther and Luther.

Amazing I got this far without reading his writings,
and thank God for them.
Just for that I'll have to look into Luther....I do like the quote from him, in paraphrase, "I am (justification is like) as snow covered dung".
