Would I be counted a socialist because I believe we whould take care of all citizens? Then I suppose I m a socialist.

Would I be a capitalist becaue I believe we should make increasse on the investment our Father has made in me? Then I am a capitalist.

Good business is always good. True chrity, that is LOVE, is always good. Give without asking to whom, and care for your responsibilities with love and common deceny. If we practice these things we are not political, we are of God in Jesus.

Yea we can be both, I dont understand why people push people to be left or right and say each other are bad. So stupid.

No, my view is from the Bible and what Jesus said.
its in the NT. As Ive said James wrote about it and Jesus admonished several rich men quite a number of times, in fact, several times he would say treat this unbelieving person as a tax collector! Tax collectors were known for being greedy and covetous. jesus saw the widow give her mite, which was all she had, and contrasted it with a very rich pharisee, who just chucked in his spare change.

Sorry you cant see it, or you totally ignoring it. jesus own mother praised God at his conception for filling the hungry with good things and sending the rich away empty. Luke 1:53
Then according to your view, salvation is by works...how much you give to the poor. Nope, Red Letter Christianity won't save, it's Christ's redemptive work at Calvary that saves us. Remember the question posed by the rich young ruler and disciples was 'what must one do to be saved?"

================================
Cross, n.a. is referring to 'new-age' bibles' the one's that are publishing new bibles and excluding The Name of Jesus Christ,
thus excluding His identity and His place in The God Head...

we both became aware of this several years ago and it has just accelerated...

all one has to do is cruise a local, christian, book-store...

Yes, you'd be a Socialist if you emphasized a social gospel over the true one.
Would you be a socialist Christian if you voted for someone like Bernie Sanders? I'd say yes.

To say there is a socialist Gospel is calling all who think they are within a socialist gospel, if there were one, liars. There is only one Gospel, that of Jesus, Yeshua, first given to Abraham and later to all......

I never minded that there were cheasters the welfare system though I did not like it, however we have cheaters in all the assemblies too.

It is better to suffer for doing what is right in the sight of our Father then to shamelessly suffer for doing what is wrong in His sidght.

Moral equivalency won't pass the muster in this case. There were many so called Christians who voted for Bernie Sanders, an avowed Socialist, who while thinking forced distribution of wealth is a good thing, have no qualms about putting innocent children in the womb to death. Is that what you want?
There is only one Gospel, and it has to do with Christ Jesus' death and resurrection for our rescue from sin, hell and death. (the first two words are words that one holding to a 'social gospel' has an aversion to mention, while they lay guilt trips on others.)

I'm not sure if you understand that most pushing the 'social gospel' agenda, (Jim Wallace, Rick Warren, Gospel Coalition etc) have political ambitions in preparing this earth for the return of Christ, aka Post Millennialism. Christ Jesus, according to them can't come back until the Church has set up God's Kingdom here on earth...a very political oriented movement (of which I don't agree with).

I have nothing to do with politicians………..left right or, if there is such a thing, in between.

Any people who stoop to use the Word in any manner to further Herod or Caesar is not true to the Gospel. I did not know about these people. It is wrong to think mere flesh can huirry what God will perform. To think such is anti-Chrits or at best extremely misguided. You have a wonder ful weekend in the Lord. God blwess you.

I was explicit in muy tw postings on the subject which should tell you since you study much that I do not believe the wuthority should be lax on on controlling who getss aid……...but because i know first hand thhere are those who cheat, and they get thrugh anywway, I am not going to jeapardize my soul by fretting about them. There will alway s be unrepented sinners, and I thank our Father for all the family repented.

So what is your question after either not reading or just not understanding what I have posted?
