Why not finish the rest of the verse as it has nothing to do with salvation and or gaining/having everlasting life Kenneth!
Like you always do...take a verse that has noting to do with gaining everlasting life and equate it to works for salvation! One of theses days you will learn the truth, albeit too late!

I thought this was the we can all agree on thread.
I was agreeing with you, just pointing out the obvious that I though everybody knew. That a believer in the Lord is a hearer and a doer, not just a hearer only.
Just like Luke 6:46-49 says when you look at it all together, for it says a hearer only has no foundation in their faith and can and will be shaken and fall, but a hearer and doer has a strong foundation in their faith and will not fall.

We have to agree with Him - don't we? It gets confusing for me personally to know which Scriptures we can post and which we can't.
