You and Kayla give the perception that you want the sinner cleaned up before coming to Jesus...that's not the way the true gospel works.
The focus on this thread is alcohol and the Christian. Where cleaning up the lost came into this, I don't know. Stephen63, Kayla and I were all talking about that. So I don't know where you got that.

Hebrews is clear, God only disciplines a son. The illegitimate aren't His, so He judges them at the conclusion of a Christ rejecting life.

That's straight up declaring God's word, so I'm sure at least 5 will have a problem with that.

What is with this guy? It appears to me that he roams around as the accuser and literally has nothing of any merit to say EVER! He is likened to a fly that flies around the room to pester all whom he can pester. A giant fly swatter comes to mind...................

Pollyanna, are you a member of this site under a different name, or were you a member in the past, now returning? I'm not accusing you, I'm genuinely curious.

no I don't care to elaborate, because it is rather obvious, you are the smartest guy in the room with what you believe so please dig into it yourself.
No, it's not obvious, and no, I'm not the smartest. If I were, you would be an idiot to take me on, now wouldn't you?

So, are we slaves or sons?

Yes,I know and then he wanted to stay! lol My travels took me lots of places but didn't get past the panhandle in FL. I loved Savannah, Georgia also. We had a funny incident when we went to Pensacola to visit the lighthouse. We didn't realize it was on the base so were rather alarmed to see armed guards greet us at the entrance. We were thinking "whats so special about a lighthouse?" lol The guard was pretty serious but I almost laughed out in his face when he asked if my dog was a service dog. I mean you can see in my avatar how small she is. lol And she has a habit when she gets excited to run in circles,so it stuck me funny. I was this close to going to lighthouse jail. :p We made it there eventually and my brave husband went all the way to the top to look out and I chickened out pretty close to the bottom. It didn't help that I was wearing a skirt and didn't want to give the folk below me a good laugh.

I like snow for Christmas and them Im done. My husband thinks he'd like the snow so I told him Id drop him off in Nova Scotia in February and he can tell me what he thinks about it then.lol The older I get the less I like snow and shoveling it.

I like the Carolinas myself...again, the fantastic old architecture and gardens..and cobblestones in Charleston, SC

they have a great lighthouse in St Augustine...as well as what was once the lighthouse keepers home...we climbed to the top of the lighthouse...a good climb...and great view of the port...lots to see..I always want to visit the old parts of any city

you could have said to the guard that you were HER service person haha

well I like real winters...not snow, rain, snow, rain, ice, ice, etc...used to do alot of skidoing back in Quebec...it's colder in winter there than here...the skiing here is a joke

I really prefer a more active life and things to do...summer is ok...anyway, we'll see

I would love to go to Charleston, havent made it that far yet, just inside the SC boarder. I'd like to make it further down in FL hope to one day.

Yes,lol I should have said I was her service person but he didn't look like he had much of a sense of humor. :( They have pretty big winters in NL so my kin tell me. Only been there in the summer myself. But I doubt NL would be to your liking.lol

What is even the point of publicly posting this? If you're wrong then your basically being very hurtful and publicly humiliating a person who may not deserve it. Even if he IS that be a good loving example in hopes he learns from kindness and changes.

For this being a Christian site there's so many people who just jump the gun and aren't careful.
People need to learn to watch their words and handle topics such as that with site staff in private. There's absolutely no reason to be talking like this in public. It's none of our jobs to determine what "merit" someone brings. As long as they're following rules (and even if they're not it's not your job to take care of. If anything just report and again let staff handle it). then they're free to be and say what they want where they want. It's not up to you to decide if it's merit worthy or not. And you as a person may think about it differently then others. Ive read this entire thread and I still can't even figure out who you're talking about so it's obviously not that bad.

You never know how small of a thread someone may be hanging on by or not. Don't be the thing that could possibly break that small thread in someones life, or be a christian who pushes someone away from God and the christian community.

Not trying to start something this kinda thing just infuriates me. There's no reason for it. Also I thought of PM'ing this as I don't like to single out too much in public but this has been happening a lot throughout the site so I thought maybe it's a good thing for everyone to think on before speaking.

Yep, a person just has to love the shining examples of good, wholesome, admirable Christian behavior that are put on display day after day here at CC. Totally awesome role-models we have here for others to emulate.

...said in the most sarcastic tone I can manage...while using my middle finger to pull down my eyelid asking you to tell me if there is something in there.

ALOT of the 12 and 13 year olds here act more mature than alot of the adults. And they are smarter than us, too. lol
We shouldn't even have kids on CC. That's against the law, isn't it?

Most of these comments are so random and not in reply to other comments. I am led to believe your all drinking currently. BTW, what's the topic again?

Do you know any farmers? It isn't that far to the store from my house so I might have pizza delivered for dinner.

That is kinda strange. I can't seem to find any hamburgers...at least not any called that. I guess I've always called them sausage patties. I don't know...just semantics I suppose. Either one goes good with beer tho.

We learn from the Bible that it is okay to drink a little alcohol, but not okay to drink a lot. Where do you draw the line?
I think the Bible is self explanatory with that.. It says don't get drunk with wine. A person knows his or her limits. This thread shouldn't be 8 pages long and counting. So why are we still going at it, folks?

1/2 ham 1/2 "burger" what does it meeeean?
I know....it's a tad confusing for the literal mind. What really gets me is "hot water heater". I mean...why on earth would you need to heat something that's already hot? Or when people say "heighth" as if there is such a word. Lol
