It seems to me The true message of prophecy is to help those unbelievers, a widow repersents grievance, and in a state of seperation, who needs Jesus more than ever in there life.

And unbeliever is also in a state of seperation and Needs Jesus in there life,

I suspect that Jesus was truly sad that the unjust Judges where not welcoming them into God's kingdom , and separating them further from the kingdom,

Which shouldn't happen because they had confessed an oath befor God to serve.

My feeling Jesus had to speak through the unjust Judges.

This is where I've been searching the bible for prophecy, where I have found many aces, (nuggets).
That I'm now waring like buttons,
Is there anything wrong with that.
There are many things wrong with that; I count six misspellings, three errors of capitalization, three of punctuation, and a couple of missing words. Perhaps you should proofread before posting.

Plus, you still have not incorporated the reality that the unjust judge is a character in a parable, not a real person.

1 Corinthians 14:22
Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe.
Have you ask God to discern this for you Brother 😊.

Firstly let me mention the fundamental belief of most Christians.

Most Christians dont believe that prophets have been reborn.
Which means Most Christians believe that prophets in the old Testament are not born of the holy spirit.

Despite Jerimah the prophet being Told by God I knew you befor you where in your mother's womb.

But yet the spirit of prophecy (Jesus) was descending upon them prohets in the old testament not born of the holy spirit and speaking through there lipsπŸ‘„.😊.

Like I showed you in the double ace.

The unbelievers would not believe those prohesies but some believers would.

This is what is ment by.

Corinthians 14:22
Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe. 😊.

The very essence of the spirit of Prophecy is Jesus. A true witness for God's kingdom.

Which means when he hears a distressed widow Christian calling for Justice from a Judge not born of the holy spirit when he should be.,

And she doesn't recieve that Justice from Jesus (the spirit of prohesy though the Judge,
Then he has no Choice but to descend upon the unclean Judge, and give his child Justice.

This is where all the believers will believe the prohesying.
But the none believers will not accept the Justice carried out.

Corinthians 14:22
Therefore tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe. 😊.

"will the Son find faith on the earth" - God certainly will bring about justice in His time

You are describing the widow as faithless.
What is the just reward of the faithless?
What reward will the evil judge with a heart of vain unbelief get for his relenting to the cry of the poor out of selfish ambition?

I think the fundamental mistake you are making with this passage is that you are thinking Luke 18:7-8 are the words of the evil man, but they are not. they are the words of God, in explicit contrast with what that wicked man had done.

He came here expressing doubts about his salvation status... which quickly morphed into "I am a prophet who has been called to go to a dangerous place and put my life on the line"

Personally, I sense a troll with a persecution complex.... who delights in kicking the hornet's nest....
Just sayin....
I asked him 4 times in another thread about salvation and he never answered. And yes, he came here asking if a person can call themself a Christian if they do not know if they are saved. In that same thread, he began talking about so called visions he had which he described and which were utter nonsense.

He avoids talking about salvation as though it were a communicable disease. Every saved person I know can and will tell you the hour of the their salvation and they are thankful and praise God for His grace and mercy.

I don't think he has a persecution complex....but I could be wrong. He is mocking and seeks to mock Christ. I do believe he has faith but not in Christ.

I wish people would stop feeding this and he might go elsewhere for entertainment. If I answer and I might, it will be to refute the lies and show from scripture what the truth actually is. We need to remember that not everyone that comes here is a Christian or sincere or even of sound mind. This person, is not sincere.

No one cares about your aces. At first you were an eccentric curiosity; now you're just a pompous bore. Have fun with yourself.
I get it you've switched, you've started out by being an elementary mr Watson, but then proceeded to be a grumpy Sherlock Holmes weighing up all the alternatives πŸ‘πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

for the next seven days I'm traveling through France back to Scotland and across to Ireland, long haulage.

I may only have a quick ten mins here and there to my self.
But I'm going spend that time with the lord alone I think.

Anyway peace to you, and er maybe people may see also that the very
essence of the spirit of prophecy is to be a witness For God's kingdom.

So a person truly seeking the lord would more than
likely have the spirit of prophecy descend upon them.
Thank you .:). How is your trip going?

hmmm I've tried to be clear, but maybe failed.

  • i do not agree that Isaiah 10 is 'prophecy' of the parable in Luke 18:1-8
    • its simply God saying again what He has already said
    • this doesn't mean that the repeating isn't important. it means there are deeper things going on here - your 'ace' is just a 4 of clubs, we need to dig more
  • I do not agree that Luke 18:7-8 are the words of the evil, wicked, faithless unjust judge.
    • a lot of your dialogue seems to be based on thinking that, so naturally I think those things you've said are misguided
    • which means again, there are much deeper things going on here. that 'ace' is only a 3 of diamonds.

The Spirit of prophecy is testimony of Christ. of His person, of His work - hence of the antichrist and His destruction by the word of Christ.

the wicked, evil, faithless judges are typological of antichrist. vv. 7-8 are emblematic of the condemnation of the judge in vv. 1-6, and the same pattern is in Isaiah 10:1-4

it's the same pattern of the Exodus, and we need to find all the pieces and out them together.

prophecy is not as simple as "ooh! God said the same thing twice!" - - that's only the simplest beginning of finding the pieces, putting them together, asking the questions, figuring out where the answers are and what they mean.

Not that you haven't found something really cool: you have. but it's not solved yet here in this thread, by a long shot, and there are a lot more pieces to find.

we haven't even dealt out all the cards yet. not time to think we can lay down trumps and take tricks yet bro =]

There is only one true prophet in the whole bible,
That is Jesus Christ.

All the other prophets where just ordinary people like you and me.

The prophets in the old t where only prohets when the spirit of prophecy Jesus spoke through. there lips.

LIke 1.67

And his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied,

prohecy is only inspired by the holy spirit.

what happens when an unclean person is saved, the holy spirit fills them, prohecy can come from unsaved people.

So anyone called a Prophet by God was not one?

called Prophet by God
  • Abraham Gen 20:7
  • Moses Deuter 18:15
  • Samuel
  • Elijah
  • Elisha
  • Jeremiah
  • Ezekial
  • Daniel
These were just some who were called a "Prophet " unto the Lord. There were all true prophets of God.

The gifts given to each member of the church are permanent gifts. Designed to build the spiritual church.

2 Corinthians 12:27-28
Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it. And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues.

Anyone can seek the higher gifts which Paul encourages.

The greatest gift above them all is?
Where does Paul say that they are permanent gifts? God gave me the spiritual gifts of teaching and preaching when I was a pastor, but the gift of creativity through writing while I'm retired so that he made me a published author and has blessed me with 14 published books.

Thats not what I ment, the word prophet is just a title the only true prophet is the holy spirit that spoke thought all these prophets, Jesus.

no holy spirit speaking through the prophets = false prophet and no prophet at all.

as in Luke 1.67

the holy spirit filled Zechariah and he prophesied.

While Jesus is indeed a true prophet, He is not the only one. Jesus Himself quoted many of the other "true" prophets.

All the other prophets where just ordinary people like you and me.
There is one major difference between "you and me" (Christians) and "ordinary people": we have the Holy Spirit within.

The prophets in the old t where only prohets when the spirit of prophecy Jesus spoke through. there lips.
Yes... and?

prohecy is only inspired by the holy spirit.
Genuine prophecy is inspired by the Holy Spirit exclusively; it is not inspired by anyone else.

what happens when an unclean person is saved, the holy spirit fills them,
Then that person is no longer unclean.

prohecy can come from unsaved people.
Yes, but the unjust judge in the parable is not a valid example, both because the text says nothing of the Holy Spirit's involvement, and because, as I have told you several times, he's not a real person. Caiaphas is a valid example, in John 11:50.

moreover verses 7-8 are not the words of the wicked, evil, deceitful unjust judge:

Luke 18:7-8
And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?

These are the words of Christ explaining the parable in vv. 1-6
