If he's a dispensationalist, he's wrong. And, he is a dispensationalist. He was a Calvary Chapel pastor. I used to attend a Calvary Chapel, and both him and Dave Hunt were well liked by them.
I just glanced at Wikipedia at Chuck Missler's information. Apparently he publicly admitted that he plagiarized other mens' works for his own books on two separate occasions.
Dave Hunt was another strange character. He wasn't a cultist, but his mentality was somewhat cultic. He tend to be focused on attacking anyone except his particular Plymouth Brethren group. I saw him in a debate with Muslims, where he spent a good share of the first part of the debate claiming he was not like "other Christians", in a derisive manner.
Well, I"m glad he separates himself from me, because I don't believe in his theology in many regards
One funny thing about Hunt is that he hated Reformed theology, yet his full name includes the name of one of the greatest Reformed preachers of all time: David Charles Haddon Hunt.
Charles Haddon Spurgeon was definitely in the top twenty Reformed teachers.
I would love to have asked Dave Hunt about his derision for Reformed people, given the fact that he was named after one of the greatest teachers
I'm sure I would have experienced a great outpouring of his old man vitriole over that question.
