nope..angels are NOT to be worshipped. Only God and Jesus are to be worshipped.

Know you not that we shall judge (command them) ... They are messengers and servants of God and they shall be our servants, but right now we shall become weak and appear as dead if we should see one mighty angel.

Revelation 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things. 9 Then said the angel unto me, "See that you do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God."

It's pretty clear here that the angel said don't bow down and worship him.

Good verse, but that might refer to a human servant, a ascended Christian man. Feel free to dispute me. I always took it as that.

yes exactly but some say Abraham bowed down to angels to try and deny that "Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad" - it seems what Abraham saw was the Incarnation and the Trinity as at Gen. 18 - wincam

Even if Abraham did bow down to angels that would not make it right. Cain killed Abel but that does not mean that murder is condoned.

And God spake all these words saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shall not bow thyself to them nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God and a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and forth generation of them that hate me. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:1-6. Don't let the enemy of God sway you otherwise. God did create the angels in heaven too.

So if you are worshiping angels, u had best stop immediately because from the looks of this scripture, u and your generations will be punished because this is idol worship.

The angel in Revelation told John not to bow down to him, but rather worship God...the angel also tells John he is a fellow servant with John unto the Lord........

Regardless of what Abraham did...he did not have the bible and or the written Law at the time and did so ignorantly with one exception possibly.......some believe the 3 represented at the fall of SIN CITY, her twin and 2 cousins was God represented in three<----Sodom, Gomorrah and the cities round about!

Actually I once before I found Christianchat met a group of ppl online that may have been angel worship. They never once spoke about God but they were very into angels saying how each person is given a guardian angel and so many of the wanted to meet their angels many claimed they did saying how they were so loving and gave a warm feeling but honestly I think that those creatures if they really met them were not angels but the enemy as he can easily come as an angel of light. I mean think about it if you were visited by an angel like that all the time and you were really into angels wouldnt that distract you from seeking God?

But the answer of to the op is obvious,No.

I think it was no accident that there were three there.....lest we forget....one angel of the Lord but walked thru the camp of the Assyrians and the result was 185,000 dead........God did not need three to do it......so there are no accidents with God.!

In those days it was courteous to bow down to distinguished visitors. It indicated respect not worship.

see also Col 2.18.
