Matthew 6:30-34
Therefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, How shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought of the things for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Please don't read assume as an independent statement.
I said that in the context of Him breathing out His word, His desire for us. Our desire(s) didn't alter what God gave us in the Bible.
For example. If God knew that people would love to get drunk, that would'n't change what God would say about drinking. God's Word depends on His character and desires, not ours.

In addition to this, we know that most people will end up in the Lake of Fire, even our loved ones. I could turn the question around to make my point:
"Why would God prohibit beloved family from joining us in heaven?"
Answer: because "what we love" doesn't determine God's plan.
You have many matter of fact statements:

There are no animals in Heaven.
God doesn’t care what we want.
Most people will end up in the lake of fire.

Support your statements with Scripture. I’m not saying you’re wrong but I’d like you to support your “factual” statements otherwise just admit they’re merely your opinions.

I didn't say this. Please don't put words in my mouth. I said that I don't believe that animal will go to heaven. I believe God will create new ones there.
God doesn’t care what we want.
I've already explained this. "God could care less about what we want (in relation to the giving of His Word)".
Most people will end up in the lake of fire.
Yes. This is Biblical
““Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13–14),

““Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.” (Luke 13:24)

"They will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life" (Matthew 25:46).

“There will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.” (Daniel 12:1–2)

“Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.” (Psalm 1:5–6)

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:11–15)

So you think animals are made in the image of God?
Do you believe that physical appearance of the flesh is what is meant by being made in the image of God? If it is then what do you consider that the 'likeness' that man was after?

But to answer your question, yes I consider animals to be made in the image of Gods since God is the Spirit of the spirits of all flesh. (Numbers 16:22)

Do I believe that animal are made after the likeness of God, no, only man has the ability to communicate using the spoken word.

Hi @SherryD please do not take offense, this is the way of threads off the rails sometimes!

I too believe there will be animals in heaven..

.Revelations 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea,and all that are in them, heard I saying,Blessing and honour, and glory, and power,be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

No

The Bible says explicitly that Man was made in the image of God. Why do you think animals were also?
Being "the God of the spirits of all flesh" refers to God’s omniscient, intimate understanding of all people. Surely then, Moses argued, God, who knows the hearts of everyone, knew that only one man (Korah the instigator, who led others with him) sinned.

why is it then that a child needs to be taught to do what is right, but does not need any instruction before they do what is wrong?
Because our first parents sinned. Now our bodies die and the senses are directed towards survival rather than serving a good will.

"in hope that the creation itself will .. obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God"

there it is: the creation itself was subjected to bondage to decay in the hope that it will receive the glory of salvation through the mercy of God, the very same hope which is our own faith.

is this not speaking of the redemption of the earth and all her creatures? what does it mean for an ocelot to obtain the freedom of the glory of salvation?
heartless, soulless, mindless, terminal annihilation as their hope doesn't seem like a very good interpretive fit to me.
Their hope would be in mankind. Human life is the pinnacle of creation, as such, creation waits for mankind to fulfill it's end in God and in doing so lift all life up now bound to the futility and decay hardwired into this creation. It was all meant to reveal the dignity of man.

I don’t think so, but I’m guessing in the new earth we will. In heaven who knows. But I hope so!

If you study Eschatology carefully, you'll find that Jesus descends to the mount of Olives before anything else. These white horses are mounted afterward, then the armies of heaven and Jesus comes to the valley of Jehoshaphat for Armageddon.
Hello Diakonos!

Your claim that the white horses are mounted after is not true. Here is the scripture in question:

"The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and pure, follow Him on white horses. And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with an iron scepter"

The Lord is descending from heaven riding on a white horse and the armies will be following Him out of heaven. Those armies are said to be wearing fine linen, white and clean, which identifies them as the bride who will have just received them in Rev.19:6-8 and which are believers who will have previously been resurrected and caught and attended the wedding of the Lamb. After the wedding feast, the bride will follow the bridegroom out of heaven down to the earth. It is then that Jesus will stand on the Mount of Olives and will also come from Bosra with His robe stained with blood.

You are correct. I made a mistake.

I forgot that the verse mentions heaven there.
Thanks for keeping me in check, Brother :)

Perhaps he goes to the Mount of Olives after His descent

Yep! I don't know exactly in what order all of the pre-millennial events will take place, but I know the following order:

* The wedding of the Lamb and the wedding feast takes place in heaven and during the tribulation

* The Lord descends to the earth and His bride/church follows behind him riding on white horses

* An angel gathers all of the birds together to eat the flesh of those whom the Lord is going to kill

* The beast and the false prophet are captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire

* An angel seizes Satan and casts him into the Abyss and seals it over him in for a thousand years

* Sheep and goat judgment

* Those entering into the millennial kingdom will beat their swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks

* Other pre-millennial events

* Millennial kingdom
