Cessationism is based on adding a few things to the prophecy of 1 Corinthians 13. It's easy to see that Cessationist teaching is not there at all. If you never talked to a Cessationist you would probably never know about it because it's not in the Bible. It's not a Bible sustained doctrine. It's a false doctrine. There is no mention of the Bible or Scripture being completed in 1 Corinthians 13; there is also no mention of the foundation of the Early Church bringing this prophecy about. The prophecy of 1 Corinthians 13 isn't given a time. Cessationism is not in the Bible. It is adding to the Bible for those who never experienced the works of the Holy Spirit. Cessationist tend to blaspheme the current works of the Holy Spirit, because they don't believe or don't know the Holy Spirit is manifest in the works of the Holy Spirit today. I believe Cessationism is the most dangerous heresy in the Church. They could make the same mistake the scribes did who blasphemed the Holy Spirit. I believe it is a doctrine of devils.
