3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
The spiritual conditions of the five foolish virgins were very bad evidently. In fact a portrayal very very sad. Analysing deeply the description made by JESUS of the spiritual conditions of them, we can see that:

1 - Each one of the foolish virgins had lamps (i.e. they had knowledge of the written Word of God - the Bible today), they were familiarized with the Word of God, the problem is that each one of the foolish virgins had not oil in the vase, i.e. the Holy Spirit. The spiritual conditions of the foolish virgins today are similar the spiritual conditions of the angel and of the Church of Laodiceans.Their spiritual conditions are described as neither cold nor hot, but lukewarm. Also like the conditions of the angel and the Church of Sardis, they have a name that they lives, and are dead.

2 - Knowing that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years, then exactly in the last day of a millennium, December 31, and the beginning of the next millennium, January 1, it is exactly midnight on the clock of God. Taking this example as a parameter, we can say that the year 2000 of the Christian calendar indicated midnight on the clock of God (The Word is God). What is the message for this time on God's clock when JESUS is about to return? As is written: At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.

Said that, the message of this present time is: Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.
Now, we have just arrived in the seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennnium, the millennium of Christ, the Lord's Day, and on the God's clock has just indicated midnight. JESUS warned and left very clear saying there were whom that were selling oil yet for the belivers, i.e. they were sell oil out of the time (Pastors, and Bishops, Missionaires, Evangelists, among others), and the foolish virgins went to buy oil for their lamps, but while they went to buy oil the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

NOTE THAT THEY THAT WERE SELLING OIL LOST THEIR SOULS (Pastors, and Bishops, Missionaires, Evangelists, among others), and the foolish virgins also lost their souls together with their ministers.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that Day shall not come, except there come a falling away first.
Now, in this beginning of this first century of the seventh and last millennium, or seventh and last Day, now all that is lacking is the man of sin and son of perdition to manifest himself, and be revealed in the midst of mankind.

Be careful and be ready for what is to come from now on.

Yep, the most importance in our life is salvation, not temporary wealth for only 80 years.

If we work hard and become millionaires, we only use it for about 80 years. And we do not know when our time up. Keep oil in our vessel is better then keep million dollar in our bank account. Because oil make us billionaires for ever in heaven, dollar may make us rich but only 80 years.

I have the impression that the door is about to close for the wise virgins to enter at least for me, that's the case, to pursue the Christ with my whole heart now.

JESUS did compare His coming as a man that travelling into a far country (He traveled to the 3rd heaven in His ascention), who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And after a long time the lord of those servants (JESUS) cometh, and reckoneth with them.
Mat. 25:v.24-29 says:

24 He which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Yep the year 2000 is critical, people was think the year 2000 was the coming of the Lord, it is reasonable, but it has been 19 years pass I do not know when He come, but I believe soon. I myself admin like foolish virgin do not make good preparation.

One of the reason I joint bible discussion is to remind myself how close the second coming is.

Jesus warn us in the text above,

The verse not stop at 29

Verse 30 say the servent that not put the money to the exchangers go to hell

30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I believe verse 30 mean hell

There is only two resurrections in the Bible (with exception to special occasions in the past), that will happen in the future, and those that are alive and remain will be taken with the first resurrection.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The connection is that the living don't go to be with Jesus until the first resurrection.

The thousand years is a metaphor used as a unknow . There is no direct number to the last day it will come and go in the twinkling of the eye . Christ will come like a thief in the night as he did in the days of Noah until then we walk by faith. No guessing. no lottery .

I think that it is very important for us to analize more deeply what you said, remembering that for us a year has 365 days, a month around 30 days, a week 6 days and a day is of 24 hours.

Knowing that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years in human calendar, as said the Apostle Peter (1Pe.3:v.8), then proportionally one hour on God's clock is as 41,666 years in our calendar. Explaining: 1,000 / 24 = 41, 666... years on our calendar.

Again. explaining: 1,000 / 24 = 41, 666 ... rounding off 42 years.

That said, 19 years is less than half an hour on the clock of God, right? Now let's see: JESUS said: At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him. JESUS is not saying He did come or will come at midnight, but said: "the bridegroom cometh ...", as if it would only take a few more minutes for the groom to arrive. And the foolish virgins went to buy oil for their lamps.

You said: but I believe (JESUS comes) soon. (emphasis mine). You are right. He is at door.

But JESUS said yet, knowing that the earth would be infested of apostasies among the believers or Christian people : He said:

"Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" Very very very sad.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
And Daniel prophesied, saying: 12:1-4 & 10 & 12

1 At that time shall Michael stand up (the seventh trumpet must sound-Rev.11:v.15), the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of
trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time
: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake (1Thes.4:v.16), some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (i.e. 75 days after the end of the Great Tribulation of 1.260 days or 42 moths.) (Mat. 24:v.15)

Okay guys I got the diagnosis:

Christianity is plagued by rapturitis paralysis!

The only cure is ["occupy till He comes" ]
You described the 10 virgins of mat 25.
They were obcessed with the groom.

Not the oil temperature, matt 25 say the foolish took no oil

Matt
25 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Yep
We agree

The verse you are quoting above is in the context of the last 3.5 yrs before Jesus' "RETURN" to the earth (FOR the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom), and correlates with vv.1-4 (not being about a "physical/bodily resurrection from the DEAD" as v.13 is about [when OT saints will be "resurrected" to stand again on the earth, at the END of the days--the END of the "days" referred to in that CONTEXT: i.e. at the end of the trib]) which CONTEXT (vv.1-4,6-7) pertains to the time when Israel will come up out of "the graveyard of nations," where scattered (v.3 tells what "the WISE [of them]" will go on to DO; v.4 also pertains to that context: "knowledge shall be increased" pertaining to these prophetic truths, in their "understanding" at that specific, future time period [just as in Hosea 5:15-6:3]). But all of this is set in a context specifically about "Israel" and their future, as well as who they will then impact (but all of this is at a point in the chronology that is well after the Rapture of "the Church which is His body")… and their entrance into "the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom" (that was promised to them).

At that point (meaning, upon His "RETURN" to the earth), He will be returning as an ALREADY-WED "Bridegroom" ["WITH [G4862 - syn - denoting 'UNION']" His "Bride/Wife [SINGULAR]"], and this is where the "wedding feast parables" pick up [sequentially], so that the "10 Virgins [/bridesmaids]" (or even just the 5 Virgins) are NOT who He is coming TO MARRY. (They will go in "accompany [G3326 - meta (not "G4862 [UNION]!)--WITH-G3326]" Him to THE WEDDING FEAST/SUPPER" [the earthly MK], NOT "the MARRIAGE" itself (which will have been already accomplished by that point: See Lk12:36-37,38,40; Rev19:7 [distinct from 19:9!])
Ot saints are already resurrected.
The end of days resurection is the general resurrection. The resurrection to the gwt.

According to the following verses, the church is here until the end of time, so that a pre-tribulation rapture is not about disappearing physically but disappearing to ourselves: to our old identity. "Its no longer I that lives but Christ that Lives in me." To encounter Jesus and return with Him. To have entered into rest in God
"Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."
"That there should be time no longer: but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."
"For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God."
Well, not true since we do all that before the rapture

Translation, there are none. It's a common theme I see with some believers. Martyritis.
And you conveniently ignored how people expressing a disagreement with you translates to adversity.
So, by your logic disagreement equals adversity equals confirmation of truth. Yet by disagreeing with other here you are creating adversity on them, confirming their opposing view as truth.
Let me guess... that's different...
And therein lies the flaw with Martyritis. It only works if it goes one way, but that's not reality.
Could be.
Could be.
What is adversity to some is a simple discussion to others.

Ot saints are already resurrected.
The end of days resurection is the general resurrection. The resurrection to the gwt.
You keep saying things like this, but you haven't yet convinced me. Thus, I disagree with you, and here is why (again):

--the text of Matthew 27:52-53 does not say "all" OT saints were resurrected, it says "many of the saints" (and specifically tells WHERE they "went")

--the text of Acts 2:29[30,31,32,34] states that David [his body] was still in the grave at the time Peter spoke the Acts 2 message (well after the event of Matt27:52-53)

--Daniel [OT saint] was told what he was told (Dan12:13) and that is set in the context of the wider passage which is covering the second half of the tribulation period, so "at the end of the days" [OF THAT; at the end of the days specifically referred to in THAT CONTEXT, meaning, at the END of the TRIB], per Dan12:1-4,6-7,10,13. This is NOT referring to the GWTj time slot. Note the 1335 days also, which "BLESSED" words (referring to those STILL-LIVING saints at the END of the trib) are those who will be "BLESSED" to ENTER the promised and prophesied EARTHLY MK time period, in their mortal bodies ("BLESSED is he who waiteth and cometh to the 1335 days"), just as in all of the parallel "BLESSED" passages I've listed in past posts

--Matt8:11's (and its parallel) "G347 - shall sit down [at a meal/around a table]" is referring to the promised and prophesied earthly Millennial Kingdom that was promised to them (where Gentile saints will also be "BLESSED" to be present and participate in it)

--Jesus told MM (on His Resurrection Day [FIRSTFRUIT, Lev23:10-12]) "I ascend [ACTIVE]" and He thus fulfilled Lev23:10-12[15a] ON THAT VERY DAY (which passage says "a sheaf/the sheaf"... "to the priest"/"the priest shall wave it," "to be accepted [on your behalf]"... "a male lamb [singular] without blemish of the first year"... [see also Acts 13:33-37, speaking of Jesus' Resurrection Day (ON FIRSTFRUIT)]; no one else was "physically/bodily" present with Him in Heaven that day [this is not to say that "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY [Eph1:20-23 WHEN]" was not "legally/positionally" present "in Him" [or, "WITH [G4862 - denoting 'UNION' with] Him"] as we are told all throughout the epistles, which is an entirely different thing from what you are suggesting])

--there are probably others I'm forgetting at the moment... :)

Sorry brother I forgot your pre-trib explanation to 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8 and I cannot find it again!

Could you repeat it for me?
I'm just now seeing this post.

Will go look for that (warning: I'm terrible at SEARCHES) and will try to repost that. Thanks (and thanks for your patience. It could take me awhile. :D )
