I see that Khazar culture is different compared to Jewish culture.

Khazar people claimed that Jews are not Khazars.

Well, yes, khazar culture proper is different of course since its a turkic culture. We are talking about ethnicity here however, something which is not always necessarily the same as culture. The khazars who embraced judaism also adopted that culture.

All makes sense now :)

Revelation 7

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
Worry not about the outward appearance my friend.

Obviously there must be a remote area here and there around this old world where Jews have not settled, but as far as countries go, a person would be hard pressed to name a country where Jews have NOT settled. Blessed be the people of Yahweh, whoever and where ever they may be, amen.

Wouldn't Jesus be more of "Mediterranean" than "Asian"?

a very good statement; it surprises me that no one here seems to know the Bible, or if they do they do not believe it. If you go to Israel you will find every possible skin colour. The Israelites were indeed dispearsed to the 4 corners of the earth and inevitably mixed their genes with others. Shem was NOT the ancestor of asian people; Ham was.

I see that Jews look like Asians

Mongolian hairstyle in ancient time :

Jewish hairstyle

Israelites Came to Ancient Japan

Ancient Japanese Samurai's hair style "mizura" (left) and Jewish "peyot" (right)
I've never known Jews to be called "Asian." All I know is that Jesus told us to love everyone.

I simply can't understand the biblical point of this thread. It does remind me that when the Jews were freed from Egyptian slavery, many Egyptians and other races went along and became Jews.

God often spoke to Jews about being kind and accepting to "the stranger among you" It is so interesting to use the concordance to find all God has to say about that.

At the same time, when a people were solidly against God, God treated them as dead people who had refused to live with Him eternally or be a part of His family. It was not the race God looked at, but the heart.

The family in OT scripture was thought of along the lines of tribal families of today, or of people whose ancestors were tribal. The individual in our culture remains an individual, in that culture individuals also think of themselves as members of their tribe.
