Grace likes to give the impression of one more spiritually mature than others, as though he I above arguing, but others who have not attained his level in the faith do argue.
If you see why he writes what he dies at times it wont bother you
He will never admit it..............but he is pretty spiritually mature. His doctrine says so.

I am a babe in Christ and I can see his maturity.

To the pure all things are pure? Was that a misquote of Phil 4:8?

God is pure holiness but he certainly doesnt claim all things are pure and holy does he?
To the pure all [things are] pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing [is] pure, but both their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny [him], [because they] are detestable and disobedient, and unfit for every good deed. Titus 1:15-16

You are, you just don't know it or are trying to be deceptive. Sorry bud. If I am wrong, look long and hard at what you teach, I see it and many others see it.

If I am wrong .........explain it better please.

When and where have I ever said any of those things ???

I already stated in the post you replied to what I preach on as it comes directly from the Word of God.

I have never said God keeps score, hates, or doesn't love people. Please don't resort to this uncalled for reading something into my words when I never stated them.

God's grace comes with two sides to its teaching:

A) The Good news of Christ coming in the flesh, dying for our sins, and being risen on the third day

B) The fire and brimstone, which is the warnings of the consequences of continuing in deliberate willful sinning

LOVE does not come in the form of just soothing words all the time, as sometimes the truth might hurt.

Itching ears false doctrines are the one's that use soothing words all the time to fool people into falling for those doctrines.

Have you ever heard the term "TOUGH LOVE" ???

If so then you will know this is taught in the Word of God, if not then tough love means sometimes you might be told things you don't like hear but it is still truth !!!

Apostle Paul did not go around telling people what they wanted hear all the time, as he called a number of people out when they were sinning.

Paul's letters addressing the Corinthian churches was to a congregation where the members thought they could live and do whatever they wanted. He told them they couldn't and those who continued to be deliberately sinful and refused to stop committing those sins the rest had the right to kick them out of the church and completely shun them !!!

Jesus is God?

If it was I don't think it is a good idea to state Tha as Jesus spoke the words I AM that proves Jesus is God himself.
Who actually appeared to Moses in the burning bush? An angel.
Stephen tells us God sent Moses to be the leader of the Israelites through the angel who appeared to him in the bush Acts 7:35

Should we term God himself an angel as the angel actually said the words I AM?

Just trying to help

Or possibly you are a babe because you like his teaching?

One who is mature in the faith would not give only half the message of God, they would give the whole word of God including that of the so-called fire and brimestone warnings.

I was going to like your post until I read fire and brimstone warnings.
I grew up with that kind of preaching. An eighteen year old who heard it ended up on the streets. He used to tell me when we met how those warnings stuck in his head. I ended up in a terrible place also at his age.

However, I agree fully. One who id mature will preach the whole message, not just what itching ears want to hear

I think you may have learned something if you actually studied what I posted that went through the word in detail. Jesus is God! The fact that you do not agree means you deny the deity therefore casting you aside from the true body of Christ.

I agree with that! We all know people who do many good things in their lives. BUT.....they have never accepted the gospel.

AND... some unsaved people have even done better than us Christians in the good works department. I've met many unsaved people who would go into a burning building to save a life. So many EMTs and others who see life and death situations. Also some people are even kinder and more generous than Christians (very sad) but it happens.

And yet they are not saved but do very good things on earth and yet they will go to hell without Jesus.
That makes absolutely no human sense. Again., no matter which way a human goes, if they don't have Christ they are dead in their sins. Salvation is of Jesus.

Tell me something, what truly matters, how a person views the substance of Christ or his title?

I believe the holy spirit fully dwells in the perfect body of Christ. I disagree with you on Christs title.
The bible is absolutely clear as to the title one must believe where Christ I concerned to be saved.
Stop following man and put the bible first

That would have been the failure of the church then, as that would mean they only preached the fire and brimstone.

I have been in and visited those churches also..................

What I was saying is there needs to be a balance of both sides of the teaching, we can not preach one without the other as that would lead to dangerous understandings.

Some people don't like to hear James being preached, which is why some even tried to leave it out of the bible and still refuse to preach or teach on it. It is a convicting book for the believer because it really makes you look deep at yourself and the way you are, follow that up with John's epistles which also were tried to keep out of the bible and you have two apostles who clearly make us review our own lives !!!

On another website Thi subject was endlessly discussed. One man stated it was an internet thing, rarely mentioned in churches.
In over 40 years of going to various Trinitarian churches I would agree with him from personal experience
I have never heard any minister plainly state from the pulpit Christ I the one true God, let alone you must believe it to inherit eternal life.
If any subject shows the futility of head knowledge it I Thi one.
Have you the courage to face the facts few ministers make your demands from th pulpit unto salvation?
No you haven't
It is tragic, and doesn't reflect well on some who come onto these sites

Arguing? I thought it was friendly debating

To the pure all things are pure, to the.........

Well you know
I replied in context and you didnt. SMH.............
5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.
6 An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.
7 Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless--not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.
8 Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
10 For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.
11 They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain.
12 Even one of their own prophets has said, "Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons."
13 This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith
14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.
15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.

People who have a relationship with Jesus Christ can still have a stronghold, such as the one mentioned---gluttony---and why should that stronghold keep a person from their citizenship in Heaven? Millions of people who are children of God and will be welcomed in Heaven based on their righteous standing with God because of the blood of Jesus will see Heaven in spite of their hardships and battles with strongholds. God wants to see His children free of them, but many Christians are clueless about deliverance and overcoming...but that doesn't negate their salvation. Strongholds simply interfere and hinder fellowship with God and strong ministry in the lives of Christians.

Well one of us is deluded.
It took 300 years after Christ died at Calvary before official church doctrine was changed as to who a person must believe Christ to be to be saved. I follow th es bible, you follow the creeds of men

Wait a minute are you saying that Jesus is not God come in the flesh, or are you just saying churches don't teach that ???

Because scripture in God's word says He is, and it is required for salvation, as John says anybody who does not confess this is not of God !!!

Lets see how sincere your convictions really are.
Should anyone be allowed to preach from the pulpit if they refuse to state from it you must believe Christ is the one true God to be saved. If you solely believe he is the son of God you are condemned, for that is not the required salvational belief.

Do you believe ministers have a responsibility to plainly state what to you is salvational belief from the pulpit.
Should they be allowed to be ministers if they don't?

In Revelation 3 and 21 says only those who overcome will inherit, you are saying here that those that don't overcome will still inherit. We should believe the word !!!

You have to duck Thi dont you, Tha doss not speakof sincerity I am afraid.
How many ministers do you actually know who will stand in the pulpit and state it I not enough to simply believe Christ I the son of God to be saved, you must believe he I God himself
Personally if I gad your view I would state unequivocally nearly all the trinitarian ministers should be thrown out of the pulpit for they refuse to preach the required salvational belief according to what you believe
But then I have heartfelt conviction of my faith, I am not driven to have part time beliefs on the intetnet
