The Lord is the well, not the Bible. Have you ever heard the Lord speak a word to you?
What you’re eluding to is that God‘s word is incomplete and not sufficient for living a life pleasing to him? That there is additional truth we need?

This…

Colossians 1
9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

You should read his word. John chapter 1.
Amen. I like what Revelation says about reading His Word...

Revelation 1:3

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

Brings to mind this verse:

Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The Bible is no ordinary book, and we would all do well to not minimalize, underestimate, nor undermine the fact of its divine authorship, authority, and life-changing power.

Although it is true that which is written that the written code kills, it speaks of the written code without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus, Yeshua, is the Word, written or otherwise, however it is His gift to us of the Holy Spirit 's guidance which brings it to life.

So, Yes the Bible is a well of Living Water, Jesus Yeshua, amen.

Tuesday 8-16-22 3rd. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Av 17 5782 57th. Summer Day

1. I think after true repentance, a person can look unto Jesus for righteousness, this is what I would do.

2. By keeping His commandments as a start, I have found this "well" in Jesus Christ.

Love, Walter and Debbie

This has nothing to do with the two questions I asked. Please review your response in light of my OP. Thanks.

I am confused (again). I thought @chess-player made the original post. :unsure:
I am confused too. I don't understand why my posts appear as if they were coming from two different posters. Perhaps I made a mistake when I registered the first time.

Yes. It is easy to make mistakes when one registers multiple times. If you will tell me all your different names, I will try to make a list. :)
