4runner God is so good isn't He. Whatever He talked tou you bout last day or two really shows. I have no need to question your faith nor what you believe, you believe in Jesus sent by God to take the sin of the world, no justification required, I'm content always was with that. I challenged the style you gave it but now it seems you've matured more in sharing and delivering the burning in your heart for Jesus. Bless you brother, I hope this is an encouragement to you. And bro, really, zone is a lovely person I hope you endeavor to see that regardless of any differences.

Thank you very much, and yes this is encouraging.

Are there any verses from Paul that CLEARLY state that Jesus is God?
I believe so. Here are a few

Philippians 2
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Colossaians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

1st Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

For clarification on the Titus passage, because I think it is the most clear of all, yet over looked.

God ''The Father'' doesnt appear when Jesus returns. The Great God and Savior is Jesus Christ

Ok then pretty much on the prophet part these are activities all believers can and do do.
And the same with the apostles.
Yes God can use anyone that is willing to be used

so did you attend any formal seminary training?
No.
To be honest I think Seminary does more harm than good for most people. I got my training being taught by God Himself, kind of like Paul, but unlike Paul it was through studying the Word, not through direct revelation

However Paul was well verses in the O.T.
have you had to engage in spiritual warfare?
Yes

how many people meet at your house weekly and how did they learn about it?
About 15 on Thursdays, and 5 on Mondays (Not including me or my wife).

are your old associates mad that you stop dealing and stuff?
No, not really, but some of my buyers were at first...most of them thought I had to have been joking....lol

l
Paul himself had to forget much of what he was told in the ''seminary'' of his day, and many men that have graduated seminary have to re-learn the true gospel all over again unlearning the false gospel they learned in seminary.

Philippians 2:5 the word translated "form" is the Greek morphe which is always used to describe outward appearance, in this case the verse is saying that although Christ appeared to be like God (miracles, prophecy, wisdom), he did not count himself or grasp at being God's equal (unlike Adam).
Colossians 2:9 dwells is in the present tense and may well refer to his post-resurrection state only.
1 Timothy 3:16 is a poor translation and based on late manuscripts that are not supported by earlier MSS, as you can see by reading other translations (NIV, NASB, RSV, etc)
Titus 2:13 is based on the use of the Granville-Sharp rule, to which there are so many exceptions in the NT that the rule is only selectively applied according to the translators biases. Also, there is no indication from ancient Greek texts that the Granville-Sharp rule was actually in existance at the time that the scriptures were written.

These are all texts that have to be considered, but are you convinced that they are absolutely conclusive?

Yes I am convinced, I totally believe Jesus is God. I not only believe Paul believed this, but that Jesus said He was.

As far as your belief goes, that is something you are going to have to continue studying and praying about.

Here is prayer I pray regularly....

If I believe anything falsely correct me.
If I have processed your word correctly affirm me.

If I distrust anyone wrongly show me.
If I trust anyone who means me harm warn me.
My prayer is to grow in the knowledge of you, your love, your word, and in your pure truth.
I want to love others as you love them
I want to be the man you have called me to be.
I want to be a witness for you , the kind you need to grow your Kingdom.
Most of all I just want to sit at your feet and behold you glory, your beauty, your Majesty.

I emboldened the first two lines, as it is what is pertinent to our convo. We all need to continuously search for truth as we seek God's heart.

If justification is by grace as you say, through faith and not of works. If man could never do anything to save himself. then how could a man ever lose his eternal life?

ps, I am not talking about a licentious person who said a prayer and never changed their lives. I am talking about a true believe who walked with God for many years.

Predicated on the assumption that you are not Calvinist, and we both believe in free will to receive or reject Christ. My answer to that question would be very simple.

They choose to turn from their faith, and walk away from their relationship with Jesus.

1. I am not calvanist.

2. What are they if they walk away from faith and reject christ. are they not an antichrist? does not john say they departed to PROVE they were never of us (in other words prove their true heart) and they dd not lose salvation they never had it?

3. It is work to keep faith. anyone who says it is not has not walked with God and suffered satanic attack. sometimes we are overcome and walk away. because they are broken and have little faith.

which brings us to 4.

4. How much faith does it take for God to say yes I will give you my gift?

John said that about some that left the church. However Paul makes it clear that it is possible fora true believer to turn from their faith. (I will post those scripture if you would like)

How did mary have a male child without a ( Man ) ?
God can do whatever He wants.
He created Adam without any father nor mother.
So this is much easier
Because He wanted it this way.
God grants some miracles to some prophets so the people can see His signs and believe
And this is one of Jesus -may peace be upon him- miracles.

Theres only two questions I can think of at hand that even matter to me,
1.-Do you love the Lord God with all your heart, mind and soul.
2.-Do you love your neighbor as yourself.

I already know what your answer is 4runner, May God bless you.

I am not Armenian either ;)

John said that about some that left the church.
John said it about those who are now against christ. No longer believe

Paul has many times stated that those who claim to have faith can depart form it. I have seen no place where he said they actually have it.
It takes saving faith ;)
Yeah but how much faith is this. Think of the mustard seed.

Hi 4runner,

got loads of questions, here are two:

1. What about people being born in religions other than Christianity? Are they lost only because the are born in the "wrong" faith?
2. Will Jesus forgive any sin?? I mean even if someone has killed a person, will Jesus still forgive him (although it says in one of the 10 commendments not to do such a thing).

Thank you.

Yes, a relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to receive life eternal with God. However no matter where you were born or what faith you were born into, you can receive Jesus as your Savior deny all other false religion, and become a follower of Christ.

Yes all sin is forgivable, except for the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit
