No.
There is no known examples of people doing that anywhere in scripture.

Is it not that you give your life to christ that counts ? And that you live for him and obey his commandments ?

No it doesn't. Jesus is our example for baptism - He didn't baptise Himself. Also, the Apostles always baptised their converts. We are to follow the precepts of the word of God.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matt 28:19.

You are inventing your own Christianity!
All those things are important, but John 3:5 “…unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
If you are in a position to be baptized then you should be.
I know about the thief on the cross argument about him never being baptized but he wasn't in the position to be able to. It was Jesus himself that "Baptized" him by accepting his proclamation of faith.

Sadly I think you can't, I think there might even be scripture to back this up I saw somewhere.
Going to have to nag your pastor XD or post a craigslist ad ;)

I asked my pastor about baptism almost 4 months ago, I am finally going to get baptised in 2 weeks.

I did it myself because i didnt belong to a church. I was praying for one that i would feel at home. I looked on the internet and saw so many that i did not know where to start. So i did it myself. I did not want to loose time. I felt it was something i needed to do.

That is great follower2 I recommend to pray, and have study on the baptism before going on the baptism, it is a beautiful experience, look also to be baptized in the Holy Spirit after your water baptism, I you are looking for it , seek it and ask God our heavenly father to give you this gift.
God Bless You

Baptism is an outward symbol of a decision to follow Jesus Christ - being born again. It is not necessary to be baptized to go to heaven.

A bucket list item is to be baptized in the Pacific Ocean, so I have to make a trip back to CA to do that! I became a Christian at a church in Huntington Beach, grew my faith in San Diego and want to go back to finish it off!

There is absolutely nothing in the bible that says one can baptize theirself. Any time it is mentioned in the bible it always refers to someone else baptizing. Maybe this is due to there needing to be a witness. I don't know, but there is nothing biblical about baptizing yourself.

Gotta be totally immersed in the name of "Jesus",
that is,
Obsessed with the salvation of the world.

The water is just a symbolic gesture and not necessary, the way "baptize with fire" is not physically necessary.
At least, I've never seen a preacher dunking people in a literal fire.

Personally, I think getting physically baptized in water is a pretty cool thing though.
But you probably shouldn't worry about whether or not someone else is physically there for the real immersion, as long as Jesus is there.

Baptism is a form of submission; can you really fully submit yourself to yourself? Trusting that the guy holding you under the water will raise you out of it is akin to trusting Jesus to raise you out of the grave. You need to be free of performing the ceremony to fully submit to the ceremony.

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

That's like asking ''can someone crucify themselves into Christ's crucifixion''?
I wouldn't try.

Baptized in the Pacific Ocean off Huntington Beach? I thought it required Holy water ;)

If you ever make it let me know. I'll come witness it.

My memorable Baptismal moment? Being dipped in a quaint little tourist trap on the Jordan River!

Can someone baptise themself ?

A BIG YES!!!!
Oh if you cannot God cannot!
Did god not say.... Draw near to me and I will draw near to you....
Look at this.... God said... Baptize them in THE NAME... One Name.... of the Father (YHVH) the Son (Yeshuah Ha Meshiach) and the Holy Spirit (Christ Jesus).... What is that Name?
And His NAME IS : THE WORD OF GOD.
There is A BAPTISM, by the WORD OF GOD, IN THE WORD OF GOD. Jesus said Father SANCTIFY them in your TRUTH, YOUR WORD IS TRUTH... ALL WHO Gather IN MY NAME, IN HIS WORD....
Do you see how all comes together in the Truth.... Here is the BAPTISM, THE SANCTIFICATION, THE SET FREE, THE SABBATH, THE GLORIFICATION AND THE REBIRTH..... TO HAVE GOD’S WORD IN YOU, AND YOU IN GOD’S WORD.
The TRUTH IS HIS WORD.... JOHN 17:17.

To baptize yourself with God's Truth.... Read the Bible, and ask God to realize HIS WORDS for you... god said not thehearers but the DOERS are His children.... Read and DO, and BAPTIZE YOURSELF WITH GOD!

When most people get saved, they are drenched in tears. Could that be a baptism?
