Cobus....that is TOTALLY a different thing, you cannot link that to other verses that clearly are referring to H2O, don't distort Scripture Cobus..it is not good for your health, don't take verses out of context either. getting baptized in water is symbolic the same as the Lords Supper is symbolic. Since you obviously didn't understand the insult I felt from your other post then I will make it more clear.
My name is Elizabeth. I go by Beth in the real world, but never am I referred to as "Bethy". I would appreciate if you would refer to me by my name or screen name and not by some nickname. I don't know how things are in your part of the world but some people where I'm from not appreciate being given little nicknames as you've given.

Jesus said in Heb 2:18... For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Can the people that are helped by JESUS to not fall for temptation share with us how HE does this?
It looks like Jesus is the ONE that can help us STOP SINNING! Please share how Jesus helped you.

I will start... I was one day tempted by a pump attendant at a refueling station. He was making very unfair remarks and needed a good beating as I reckoned. So as he walks off after our word slaying, I got out the car to teach him a fist lesson.
I knew I was going to start a fistfight with the man, but as I came in punching distance my balled fist fell lame and I heard these words coming from my mouth: "When I am wrong, my Bible teach me to ask forgiveness to the man I was wrong too, no matter what teh colour of his skin!" The man immediately appolagised and rushed to fill my vehicle. He said... I fall in sack and ash sir, I am sorry.....

I promise you I did not get out my vehicle to TALK, but to FIGHT. Jesus helped me to do the right thing.... He took over 100%.

I had my right hand in a firm rolled up fist, and it just fell LAME, and my mouth stated speaking, I did NOT WANT TO TALK, but GOD SPOKE THROUGH ME! I wonder what was in that man's head when he walked away. Did he feel sorry for the way he treated me, and when God told hm what HE TAUGHT ME, that man knew exactly how to appologise? Well it turned ouot God-PLEASING.... Two men for margument to honoring God with neighbourly love....

....but did you know that God will never allow us to be tempted beyond what we can endure?

1Co 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
