Ah
I was just told

we do it because it is the truth

and only those with love of the truth have real faith
Thank you Jesus.

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Now read that again from a woman's perspective and no changing God's word.
I doubt that I can credibly read it from a woman's perspective since I am not a woman. I'm not even a transsexual.

The verse does not specifically refer to womankind lying with womankind.

What is the point you would like to make?

Like your twisting of marriage? True marriage is not how we view it today. In God's eyes all flesh is in unison to the spirit given it. I'm me for better or worse, till death pull us apart! That is why the woman (spirit) is free to marry another upon the death of the husband (flesh).
You seem to be saying that the person's spirit determines the flesh's state of homosexuality, and to deny that is to separate the flesh from the spirit, am I correct?

Is the same true for a pedophile? Is the same true for those who engage in beastiality? After all, they are who they are "til death do them part", correct?

So The bible is very clear about those that cannot inherit the kingdom, practicing homosexuality is included in this as well as many other sins/characteristic/desires of the flesh etc. My question is, if the bible is so clear about the fruit and walk of those truely saved, what scriptures are those practicing homosexuality and professing to be christians using, to allow them to continue to sin in this manner and truely believe they are okay in the lords eyes? There are so many gay/lesbian churches around now, and I have no idea how they manage to deceive people in believing this lie and not saving them from the truth. How are they misinterpreting scriptures or what are they leaving out??? Thanks for your time. X

my experience with so-called "gay christian" groups is that in general they are biblically illiterate, focus on well-practiced twisting and re-writing of the verses that specifically condemn sexual perversion in a pseudo-apologetic stance, and preach a sort of unitarian universalism with a god who doesn't judge or rebuke any sin other than the crime of judging homosexuality.

and when you comment on their "BORN THIS WAY" posters, "you must be born again"
-- they ban you from their forums, facebook groups and chatrooms.

all the groups like this i've ever spent time with were far more concerned with talking about homosexuality than they were with talking about the things of God.

how different are we?
don't we also have members here who only want to talk about conspiracies and illuminati, and never the Lord?
don't we have members who spend all their energy on Sabbath discussions, never entering the rest?
how many of us spend all our energy condemning Catholics, Calvinists, Trinitarians, etc -- and have no strength left for thanksgiving or praise?

i don't mean to put these things on a par with using grace to excuse and condone licentious immorality.
just to spur some thought about similarities.
