Pre-trib is a lie - not you.

What makes all of us fall into a lie is when we do is this:

Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words,
lest He rebuke you and prove you a liar. Proverbs 30:5-6

Wouldn't you rather accept kind brotherly rebuke and be blessed then to stand before the Lord and be held accountable.......

Has not the Lord brought us together under the Protection of His Blood and His Word - let's walk in it and be free from religious error.

Jesus is my Passover, @Marilyn, because just as the blood of the lamb on the door frames of the Israelites allowed the angel of death to “pass over” their homes so that they could escape Egyptian captivity, the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God, shed on the cross for me, allows me to escape the penalty of death for my sins. My faith in Jesus, the Lamb of God, is pleasing to my Father and gives me access to His grace, salvation, and a covenant relationship with Him. I have faith that all His promises in scripture are available to me. Yes, I am part of the body of Christ, betrothed to Him.

Marriage is so much more than a walk down the aisle in a white dress, and I am certain that both Christian men and women view it as a faith-filled union, an alliance, a fusing together of hearts.
Yes Brother - "a fusing together of hearts" - Amen

I think that the New Jerusalem is clearly the combination of all the redeemed, both the Old Testament saints symbolized by the 12 gates and all the church symbolized by the 12 foundation of the apostles. This is the promise of both being one through Christ in the everlasting New heavens and new earth. Thus the New Jerusalem ordained as a bride is applied to both the OT saints and the Church as all are justified by faith in Christ alone.
Hi Amanuensis,

Actually the New Jerusalem is for the OT saints, the 12 apostles of the Lamb and the 144,000 from every tribe. Note that the city `COMES DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN FROM GOD.` (Rev. 21: 2)

We the Body of Christ have a higher calling, the on top calling as Paul tells us. `I press towards the goal for the prize of the `on top` calling in Christ Jesus.` (Phil. 3: 14)

`To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne...` (Rev. 3: 21)

`....far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come...` (Eph. 1: 21)

This is TRUE - Do you know when this occurs?
`And I will pour on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieves for him as one grieves for a first-born.` (Zech. 12: 10)

When?

`In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem....It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.` (Zech. 12: 9)

The New Jerusalem is not for the Jews/OT Saints - You need to read Romans and Galatians and the Gospel of John and Acts and more.

Which "bro tree" are you referring to?
He is referring to me - your safe.

Let the trees of the forest sing for joy before the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth.

Now, is our Lord coming to save 'trees' or 'men walking as trees' - Amen.

What a great verse!

I keep track of symbolism throughout the Bible. I've [just now] address "trees" to that catalog. Thank you!

Psalm 96:12 NIV - "Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy."

Unbelievable . . . Isn't it amazing how the Bible repeats itself . . . through allegories, both living and inanimate?!

I would never claim to be an expert on Revelations, but the context of "New Jerusalem" is Spiritual Circumcision. New Jerusalem would be those who have received this Operation of Faith by the Hands of Christ, hence, the Circumcision of Christ. Eternal Life is contingent upon one thing only, and it is the Circumcision of Christ.

As DavidTree posted above:

Revelation 3:12 KJV - "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

Again, the only way to "overcome" is by receiving the Circumcision of Christ . . . nothing else. Spiritual Circumcision leads to Repentance, the Gift of the Holy Spirit, and the final capstone of Christ's Work is the dept paid for our sins by His death on the cross.

Colossians 2:10-12 KJV - "And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead."

There is One Faith, One Gospel for ALL Nations and One New Jerusalem - which are the Redeemed of the LORD.

Revelation 3:12 openly declares this and REPEATS this Desire of Christ in Revelation 21:1-2

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

It is the Father who calls us, the Son who washes us in His Blood and the Holy Spirit that prepares us for HIM.
