Nope. I do believe, however, that a person's soul CAN become corrupted with evil from a very young age. After all, that's when we are most vulnerable to evil acts and deeds.

I don't know about common language or theology, but I do know what is written in God's Word (Romans 13, for one) and other places about the soul. And everyone has one. Therefore everyone has a conscience, albeit some are clear, and others seared.

All that theology and language usage aside, nothing is impossible with God. If He can raise Lazarus from the dead, He can raise to life any man dead in sin.

May our Awesome God be glorified forever and ever! Praise His Holy Name!

Hey Ant,

My previous post wasn't critiquing you; I think everything you've said is fine.

Your post just got me thinking about clarifying some of these terms... things can get confusing.

God Bless
Max

It seems two days ago there was a controversial topics forum and I think that's where this topic should belong, nonetheless here goes.

Since creation, people have ghastly, gruesome, things without reason or remorse. Could it be be that they simply don't have a soul?
What do you think? I sure don't know It's now an open question....... calibob
Everybody that is born in to this world has a soul, even the man Christ Jesus has a soul who has no earthly father.

Even the man of sin has a soul who is the most evil, and rebellious person ever in history, for when Jesus puts down the beast's kingdom in the future, the beast, man of sin, and the false prophet go to the lake of fire, and Satan goes to the bottomless pit, so the man of sin has to have a soul to be able to be judged to go to the lake of fire.

If a person does not have a soul they could not be judged.

A clone would be an example of a person without a soul, for there can only be one of us that would have a soul, and spirit, and all the clone would be would be a physical shell, and not even the man of sin is a clone for he is judged.

People of the world are more wicked today because that is the direction they are going, like a person that confesses Christ grows in Christ for that is the direction they are going.

Which Jesus said concerning the end time, that since iniquity shall abound the love of many will grow cold, and that means they will not care for the feelings of other people as much.

And Paul said evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

And Proverbs 30:11-14 tells us of the last generation where the children will curse their father, and will not bless their mother, and will be pure in their own eyes but not washed from their filthiness, and highly arrogant, and highly selfish, and aggressive towards each other, and will devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men, which means they will heap money to themselves in a ludicrous fashion and not care about people in need which we see big time today.

People have done terrible things all through history, but they still have a soul, but they were highly arrogant by choice, and the devil influencing them.

When you are born, GOD breathes into you that 'HA' or Breath. The first Breath, your Soul.

But to answer your question, NO one cannot be born without a Soul unless they are not human from the ancestery of ADAM.

Personally I think we are body soul and spirit,

Body is the good looking image on the left!

Soul is who you are, your personality etc it’s what makes you you.

Spirit is that part which needs to be awakened and is born again.
It’s the brand new part of you when you are born again. We become new
creations. It’s the part that got cut off from God when sin entered the world.
Your spirit is the part of you that hungers and thirsts for God.

Psalm 42:6-7 NKJV
[6] O my God, my soul is cast down within me; Therefore I will remember
You from the land of the Jordan, And from the heights of Hermon, From
the Hill Mizar. [7] Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me.

The body definately isn’t born again, it continues to decay and grow old.
Some day we will get new incorruptible bodies, resurrection bodies.

Your soul your mind doesn’t change overnight, we are continually called to
renew it. That’s where sanctification comes into play.

Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which
is your reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove
what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Sorry my bad, I was responding to the the paragraph about the image we see in the mirror, while i was most of it scrolled away, my cheap windows 8 laptop malfuntions often.
No, they cannot be born without a soul. Genesis 2:7
However, mental health sciences and with the help of brain scans, PET scans & MRI's, have proven a person can be born without a conscience.

Oh; someone with an education finally; So we both know that the part of us where love comes isn't the chest (heart) its the brain, it just feels like the chest & when we are sad and we call it broken heartedness so you kind of confirmed my supposition using the word soul in the common venacular like love or empathry.. Cudos. calibob

We are made in God's image. Just as He is a triune being we are also triune in the sense that we ARE a spirit that HAS a soul that lives in our body, or our flesh. The Word tells me time and again that the battle for my spirit is a done deal. The Word also tells me my flesh is and will always be wicked. The battle, therefore, is for my soul. That part of me that includes my thoughts, memories, feelings, etc. My flesh wants to serve itself, even unto death. My spirit is righteous and hidden in Christ, and it wants to glorify God. This is, I believe what Paul was referring to in Galatians 5:17 and elsewhere.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

I've wondered about that myself in order to understand why some people do certain things but I don't think a regular person can be born without a soul rather a Corruption of God's creation such as what occurred when the Fallen Angels came down and had children by the daughters of men and the Bible specifically says that they were on the earth Before and After the flood so is it possible that some of them are still around today and have infiltrated our ranks such as Governments, schools and religions?

NO - A person when born becomes a living soul by the spirit of God > a living being.

The soul is the connection one person has with God his maker as a personal relationship . When God breathed the breath of spirit life in Adam they had a working relationship . When mankind chose do the will of that seen, the soul died . In that way all men are born with a dead soul (no way to commune with God) . The new Adam provided that way back into fellowship.

I was taught as a child taught love comes from the heart and the heart is where the soul resides. I public college I was taught love comes from somewhere in the brain (I can't remember what part) and they ignored the soul completely. As a christian it is was what sepperates us from the other animals and the list goes on and on so let me change the wording; can a person be born without the capability of love, remorse, compassion or any of the other things we credit to the soul and heart (not the blood pump either)? If so are they born doomed, unsalvageable, from birth?

simple answer: no

mankind is so depraved without God, that God once sent a deluge to destroy His own creation but then He said He would not do that again

Personally I think we are body soul and spirit.
That is what we are, body, soul, and spirit.

The spirit is our connection to God, for He will not have a relationship with our flesh.

All spirits go back to God who gave them no matter if the person is with God or not, so the spirit cannot be tainted with sin, for if it could it would not go back to God.

The spirit is not a part of anybody whether they are lost or not in the afterlife.

The body is our choice to live how we want, although it is wrong, but we have a choice, and being in the flesh is the reason humans can be saved.

The fallen angels cannot be redeemed because when they sinned they tainted their whole being with no way to put off the flesh.

But a human that is saved can put off the sin by putting off the flesh, and be saved and preserve the soul, for all sin resides in the flesh, which Paul said there is no good thing that dwells in the flesh, and the Spirit and flesh are contrary to each other.

The soul makes the choice between the 2, spirit, and body, which it can only be one way which is either go by the spirit, relationship with God, or body, and not a relationship with God, for there is no combining the 2 for there is no half way living by both parts spirit, and body, for a little leaven leavens the whole bunch, and if you offend in the least of the law you offend all.

We are body, soul, and spirit, and the only thing that will live forever for the saint is the soul, for the spirit went back to God and not part of them anymore, and the body is put off them and they will have a glorified body.

This is a unique question. Cloning is a very simple process. You simply get a part of a blood cell of the person to be cloned, empty an egg of its haploid, and insert the diploid of the person. The process will follow where the person from whom the cell was extracted, his/her entire gene structure, will be cloned. If this ever happens, it will be an extreme modification of what God intended. Monkeys have a close similarity in genetic makeup than humans.
The first Monkey clones were recently created. Human clones may be next. It isn't that complicated of a process. But will they have souls is the question?

A person cannot be born without the capability to love, remorse, or compassion, for we are born innocent with no sin attached to us, which is why the Bible says that the angels always behold the face of the Father for the little ones, and Jesus lights every person born in this world which everybody has the chance to see the light of Jesus and the darkness does not comprehend it.

We are sinners because when we are born we have a choice between good and evil, so we are born not knowing God, and will do wrong before we come to God in the truth.

But we are born innocent until we realize the things we do wrong are wrong.

Even the man of sin, the antichrist, was born innocent, for Satan could not touch him in his innocent state, for the angels protect the little ones spiritually that are not at the age of accountability.

But the man of sin made the choice to be in to worshipping Lucifer looking at him as the helper of this world instead of antagonistic towards humans as the Bible portrays him, and believes in the future he will help him to evolve to be greater, and all people who follow him.

Which the man of sin probably was trained as a child to prepare him to be the New Age Christ so that is all he knows, and believes is reality, which is the evolutionary process in which he will be the final teacher to cause this to happen to where they will become spiritual.

They never gave the man of sin as a baby a chance to develop in to normal functioning child, but were right on him in the ways of the occult, and harnessing the power of nature.

I am sure the man of sin did not decide to be the New Age Christ when he was 18 years old, but they were on him saying this is the chosen one from birth, with the new age movement leaders in agreement with it, and it could be because he was born on a certain date by 2 new age people, or they already had the couple picked out beforehand

Occult teachings, and ways, and beliefs, are more exalting, extreme, and selfish, then in the past, and that is why the man of sin will be the most sinful person ever in history, but as a baby he was innocent, but they robbed him as fast as they could.

But I am sure the man of sin has some good moments like a baby should have, laughing , and playing, even if it were for a short time.

The human clone would not have a soul, or spirit, but be a physical shell, for there can only be one of us, not two, and a complete human can only be complete by father, and mother, and would probably not live long seeing it might not have a desire to do the things a complete human would do, and would they be as smart, but they probably would not have a conscience as an incomplete human.

Some people think the man of sin, antichrist, will be a clone, but it is not true, for the beast goes to the lake of fire before the millennial reign of Christ, but Satan is thrown in to the bottomless pit, and the beast, the man of sin, would not go to the lake of fire unless he was judged, and a clone would not be judged.

I do not see the purpose of a human clone other than people thinking they are great for doing it, for Satan does not want to deceive clones, but complete humans, the same as I do not see the purpose of a robot, and AI, other than people thinking they are great for doing it, for the new age movement believes that when they evolve they will be very much greater than a robot, AI, in intelligence, and strength, very very very very very very very very very, and again very far greater.

Clones, and robots, AI, would be like insects to them when they evolve, and they sure do not need them to help them one bit by what they are trying to establish, and you can be sure the people that are involved with all this technology are in on the plan of the world agenda, but they will do a little bragging along the way with look how great we are, which is probably the main purpose behind it, the same as NASA look how great we are for we know how old the universe is, and how old the earth is, and when the big bang happened, and when the first galaxy formed, and the years of the dinosaur, and how far is the farthest star, and others that say we only use ten percent of our brain, and what if we used the other ninety percent.

And such things to make people believe that mankind is so great, and think of what we can achieve in the future, which will deceive those who do not love God, especially that belief that people can still evolve to be greater by the power of nature.

There is no place in the new age movement, and the beast kingdom, for clones, and robots, AI, for they are so inferior to them and how great they will be, for like Denzel Washington said in the movie Training Day, King Kong ain't got blank on me.

Clones, and robots, AI, mean nothing to these people in the sense of their world agenda, but to cause people to think that mankind can achieve wonderful things, and more wonderful in the future, as a tool to cause them to be onboard that it is all about people, and no personal God, for they can explain everything without a God, know everything without a God, do everything without a God, accomplish great things without a God, establish peace on earth without a God, evolve to be greater and spiritual, and be godlike, and live forever without a God.

In reality according to their world agenda, and their kingdom, they spit on clones, and robots, AI.

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering more along the lines of Vlad the Impailer, Caligula, Stalin and my lifetime Manson. I should feel sorry for these monsters but I don't. I don't feel sorry for Lucifer either. I only wondered why they act almost beyond demonic.
That's all for now... calibob
In Christianity, evil doesn't exist per se. Demons are not evil by their own nature. They were created good, they were once luminous angels, but by a bad decision of their will, they perverted their good nature.

The human clone would not have a soul, or spirit, but be a physical shell,
Why, exactly?

Soul is a personality, spirit is what gives life. The only difference against the normal human would be that he/she will be from the lab instead from the womb.

But still, the clone will not be created "ex nihilo" (from nothing), but from already existing life (cells), so there is no problem with soul or spirit.

BTW, cloning is quite a common procedure, already. Not between humans, though. But regarding animals, its not any kind of future sci-fi.
